Great people! Excellent selection and service staff is very kind and knowledgeable. The manager greeted me immediately upon entering, I explained I was new to cigars and he sent a staff member with me to their humidor to help me find the right cigar for my pallet. I selected 3 incredible cigars with their assistance and they even offered me a military discount. Went here for the first time to celebrate my birthday. From the first step in felt welcome. Good selection of cigars. They have a good selection on drinks at the bar as well. In October 2020, we met a group of friends at Executive Cigar Shop for a few beers and a cigar. I am not a cigar guru, but after gandering at the merchandise in the walk-in humidor, I quickly learned that the product was meticulously chosen and of the finest quality. The shop is housed in a commercial building; with a beautiful view of Lake Monroe and the Veterans Memorial Park. There is a full liquor bar and several beers on draft. There is plenty of space inside/outside to walk around with your stogie. When you want to take a load off, belly-up to the bar or nest in one of the super-comfy leather chairs along the window line. The staff does a great job providing clean ashtrays where needed, and the state-of-the-art air filtration system makes it comfortable enough for newbies like me to withstand peak smoke density. The owner and staff were welcoming, friendly, and helpful in answering all of my questions. The owner helped me select a smaller cigarillo (Al Capone's) to accommodate my needs. I tend to go for smaller sweet cigars, such as swisher sweets, and black and mild because I hate to waste an expensive one that I cannot smoke in one sitting. I know of several tricks that work to salvage a previously lit cigar, but to me, cigars never taste fresh after that first burn. The two-pack of Al Capone's was just the right amount of cigar for my wife and me to enjoy with our beers. I know they cannot compare with a more premium cigar, but we were happy with the end result, and that's all that matters. A very classy but very chill cigar lounge. Perfectly located across Lake Monroe. You can smoke outside and enjoy the view, or sit inside and enjoy comfortable chairs and couches. Not the largest walk in humidor I ever been in, but it definitely has plenty of quality cigars to choose from, and the price is pretty on point. In the middle of the lounge is a huge horse shoe shaped beautiful bar. Stocked with pretty much anything you are looking for. A plus for me when I go to a cigar lounge is service. The bartender came out from the bar to serve me a drink, delicious dark and stormy ,and later came out to see if I needed another. If you have any questions or need a cigar suggestion, just ask the very knowledgeable manager Jason. The fans seem to be working perfectly also, no lingering smoke . Next time I find myself in Sanford, this will definitely be one of my stops. read more

Awesome cigar bar in Sanford. You can sit outside and enjoy the fresh air and view of the lake, of sit inside when it's hot out. Executive has great circulation/ventilation and modern/clean interior. Great selection from the bar, except for beer. Typically only two on tap and no stouts or porters (which is typically worthy of removing one star), but the staff are friendly and very accommodating. I'm hopefully they will expand the beer options in the future. read more

We live locally and pop by every once in a while. The outdoor space is lovely, and we enjoy the vibe, but the drink prices are wild -- especially for Sanford. Got a martini and it was $20. The old fashioned is $14+. Prices are different every time we go, but it is wildly expensive and they don't have a drink menu (aside from neat liquor prices) so you never know what you're paying. I really don't know if I can justify going back when 2 beers and 2 drinks was $50. Wish I could recommend it more. read more

By no means am I any kind of regular cigar aficionado. After passing by this spot on a daily basis, I thought it would be nice to try a cigar, grab a drink, and look out over Lake Monroe. The gentleman who was working the humidor was very helpful. I would imagine they get a blend of experienced and inexperienced smokers coming in due to the location, and he gave us plenty of recommendations based on our novice status. There is a fairly large bar, and they have a decent selection of liquors and cocktails, as well as draft and bottled beers. It was a good experience, and the next time I am in the mood for a cigar, I will definitely be back. read more

Went here several weeks ago with a few buds. The cigar selection was quite extensive with a nice walk-in humidor. You should be able to find a good stick to smoke. The drink selection was good with the usual beer, wine and liquor. Great atmosphere with high-tops and leather seating. We were Not too impressed with the LOUD dance music that started around 7:00pm. Which made it very hard to talk over. I would like to suggest a more relaxing " Background " vide of jazz or blues music. read more

Close to the absolute worst communication/service I've ever witnessed (and I've worked in customer service for almost 10 years). We walked up to the store front at 7:48 (yes, 12 min prior to close) with just the intention of quickly picking out a cigar to-go. As we both walked up someone visibly came to the door and locked it... just as we were within 3 ft of it. No attempt at a conversation or gesture to convey they've closed a bit early tonight. Ok.. as we're standing there confused there are multiple people still inside at the bar. We try calling the store to make sure there isn't a mix up or if for some reason they're rented out for the night. As the phone is still ringing an employee comes to the door and asks "can I help you?" ..obviously rushed and frustrated. We explained we just wanted to quickly grab something to go from the store (within the store hours). She tells us that the drawers are already closed and they're shut down for the night and left it at that. Whatever.. the both of us have worked in customer service for a while and understand the frustrations surrounding the 10-15 min before close.. but to lock a door in a customers face and then treat them with that attitude is something I have never seen before and completely beyond me. read more
