The movers showed up on time, and they were fast. During moving, some executive decisions were made about where to put our items, which wasn't awesome. For example, leaving houseplants outside in the backyard. :/ Overall though, we had a perfectly okay experience. The price seemed reasonable too. read more

The Government hired the company. First I will say that the young college men who delivered our household goods were TERRIFIC. They were careful and not just in a rush to dump the stuff in the house. I mean they were great! That said everything else was not good, right down to the fact that the claim manager worked for the company. They deserve a zero star. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! You will be glad you didn't. If you are looking for incompetence, this company is filled with it. 1) The surveyor that showed up was unpleasant and wreaked of smoke. The weight and time estimation was about 4,000 lbs (actual was 4,500). The surveyor noted our home had 2 flights of stairs (was not passed to the actual movers). 2) Having completed a 4,500 lbs pack out with a different company a few days prior, we knew it would take about 4 hrs for Executive Moving Systems to pack our remaining belongings. It took 12 hrs for Executive Moving Systems to complete our pack. 3) The moving men left dirty hand prints on all the stair way walls and gouged the walls multiple times. When confronted about it, they said "Someone from the company will call you." No one called. 4) When the moving truck arrived, it was apparent that they threw all of our belongings in the truck with no regard. Nothing was strapped in or tied down. 5) The most disgusting thing one of the movers did was deficate in one of our restrooms and not flush. When confronted about it the two movers said the other one did it like elementary school kids. 6) I was stuck with these movers because the government contracted them. I just recently moved into the area. This company moved my household goods. This company by far has been the worst!!!! They are so unprofessional. They did not finish the job that was stated in the contract. And when I talked to their boss Remy he promised they would come out the following day to make right. They canceled on me and he has not answered my phone calls. I am beyond pissed at this company and their subpar customer service and performance. I hope they lose their business and I also hope the military does not not continue to business with them. They have no respect for your house hold good items or their profession. read more

Horrible horrible horrible, mean packers. They trash your stuff. At first they seemed like sweet ladies, but nope. They broke glass items, including breaking a glass sugar bowl full of sugar into a box of other items. They intentionally crushed lampshades and other fragile items including artwork to jam them into boxes. They just dump and crush and jam into boxes, whether it's clothes or food or heirlooms or toys or tools, sometimes all together. Scratches, scuffs and dents all over. Then they mislabel lots of boxes simply as "decorations" and you can't find anything while unpacking later. Avoid these packers. Seriously. You should stay away from them. read more

So far, it's been the worst experience in my move. Scraping wallpaper is more pleasurable. Apple Moving failed to plan enough space in their moving truck for my furniture. As a result, they strapped antique furniture to the back of the truck and promised to pack it in a wood crates and send me photos of the packing of the furniture. It only did I not receive the photos, they do no return calls, emails, or texts. It's been 8 days since they left with my furniture and I still have no idea what condition it's in. They did t bring packing tape for the moving blankets. So, I gave them all my packing take and gaffer's tape. This is another example of how I'll prepared they were. My sales rep Ryan ignored my calls and texts about my antiques and only began responding to me when I reported to my realtor the troubles I've been having. Once my realtor contacted Ryan, Ryan replied to me. Avoid this company unless you like non-communication and stress. read more

Like many other reviewers this was my destination agent for a PCS. The delivery crew at destination was great, very professional, courteous. Worked well despite it being below freezing. But a few things I was not happy about. The driver at origin and his crew were unprofessional, rushed things, did not have enough room on their truck and one of the loaders made a racist comment. They loaded our items on the trailer and the driver said they would stay on there until delivery because they weren't loading in the crates at origin like has been done on my previous PCS moves. That didn't happen, everything got moved and arrived in crates at destination. Somewhere along the line several items were lost; pieces of things they didn't pack well and even entire boxes, a lamp, piano pieces. They also broke a lamp and we'll see what else. The origin crew seemed like they just wanted to get it on the truck and leave. Then when they had to come back the next day they kept trying to leave without loading everything they were supposed to take. That driver and his crew were apparently run by this office and I'm not sure at which warehouse our stuff was moved and lost but I'm assuming this one. They also tried to deliver two items that were not ours with our stuff which makes me wonder how organized their warehouse is. Last move nothing was lost and only two things were broken. Use at your own risk with this company. We had a military move assigned to them as the delivery agent. We went through it with this company. They sent a team of mostly young people who were rambunctious, using foul language, smoking, playing loud music and horse playing together. They lost part of our shipment, could not provide a crew to reassemble all of our items, to this minute have not followed up on getting someone out to complete the assembly of our goods, pick up trash left behind or let us know what happened to our household goods. Some of the people where kind and seemed helpful but not enough to make a real difference. It was difficult getting dispatch on the phone. Not at all an easy process. read more

Let me start it with saying the only reason we used this company is because the government contracted them! Otherwise I would never recommend them even to my worst enemy. If I could give zero stars I would-I am very disappointed that the government contracts with a company that does a total crap job. This is how our move went: 1st: We lives on a military installation-which was noted during the survey. They sent a team of two guys, one of which forgot his ID and tried to persuade us to get him on base(you can't do!!). They had to turn around and go back 1.5 hrs to the warehouse to get it. This was at 10am, they didn't show back up until right before 4pm. 2nd: We have about 4,000 pounds, we did not move a couch, washer/dryer, the biggest piece of furniture was our china cabinet. When the men came into our house they kept saying "I'm not sure we are gonna be able to finish this today". It started out what seemed to be good but turned into a total nightmare. They were slow,lazy and unprofessional. They were at my home until 3am and still were not done packing/loading!! Nightmare. 3rd: They did not have the proper seals for our crates, did not bring them and tried to leave a mess in my house when they decided 3am was a good time to leave. I could not reach anyone from the company because it was he wee hours of the morning. 4th: I was able to call first thing Monday morning to try and figure out what is going on. We had a quality assurance guy come out and assess the job and also received a call from the GM saying he was sorry for all the inconveniences caused. Sure okay. 5th: Our household goods arrived pretty much intact but the biggest thing was our 55" flat screen TV arrived out of the box it was packed in and just in brown paper-luckily no damage. Instead of dining table top was put into the TV box-what?!! The crew who unloaded mentioned this was the worst move/pack job they'd seen, ever! I do NOT recommend this to anyone and hope the government can get out of this contracted because other military families do not deserve this kind of service! read more

STAY AWAY!! I don't even know where to begin. Terrible experienced. They gave me a 9-10am window and showed up a few minutes after 11. They were very inexperienced and moved incredibly slow, damaged my new painted walls in several places, damaged my lounge chair + had to be watched and monitored like children to make sure everything was done right and no more damage ensued. Like some other reviews listed, we had a military move assigned to them as the delivery agent. The crew that was assigned to deliver/unpack our household goods was horrible. Furniture was broken, stained and looked like shit upon arrival. The delivery crew was new and unexperienced and did not give a shit about how they handled the furniture. They forced furniture through doors (and damaged them) when all they had to do was take of the cushions and unscrew the legs to easily get it through the door. The crew did NOT unpack. They didn't even bring tools to reassemble furniture which shows they had NO intention of doing anything other than taking boxes off the truck and piling them up in one location. They presented (to my husband) that they had to option to unpack but didn't have to if they didn't want to. INCORRECT. During unloading, there were also so many missing items, that the driver decided stop calling items off and just said, we'd have to file a claim. After such a poor interaction and after they finished piling boxes up, my husband just told them to leave as if was clear they didn't care. I do not recommend and if zero stars were an option, that's what I could give them. This is by far THE WORST military move that I've ever experienced. read more

This was just a terrible experience top to bottom. First off, it looks like this company has had to change names before as some of their paperwork had an old name "Superior Lines", so be warned of that. Also the service was booked through another service called Atlas. We had no idea that another company (Executive in this case) would be doing the actual moving. The problems were on both sides of this arrangement though. To set the stage, my wife and I were moving on a timeline and cross-country, we were promised a flat rate and delivery time of 6-10 days from pick up. We shopped around and found this to be generally the best offer. Here were the list of problems we had throughout the experience in chronological order: 1) Movers were 4 hours late when coming to pick up the stuff. This wasn't a big deal as obviously stuff happens, but it was clear the team was overbooked 2) Fast forward a week after pick-up and we haven't heard any updates. We call up Atlas and are told that they aren't sure when the drop-off will be and that we should call their affiliate, Executive. 3) We spent a couple of weeks of phone ping pong between Executive and Atlas. No one wanted to take responsibility for the delay. Interestingly though we were told by Executive and Atlas' customer service that they don't know why we were told 6-10 days since their estimate according to their forms was 10-14 days. So the sales person just sold us a line to get the sale. No one took any responsibility for this oversight It also would have definitely changed the calculus for deciding to go with the moving company since the delay of getting our stuff was one thing we were worried about since we would have to buy replacement essentials upon arrival if it was going to be weeks until delivery. 4) Ok, so 14 days later and still nothing, even on the far end of their post-pick-up, corrected estimate and our stuff still hasn't been picked up from the warehouse and sent out for delivery! 5) Fast forward again- we had to wait 24 days before our stuff finally arrived. This was conveniently just a few days away from the 30-day maximum the movers said in the contract it would take for delivery. We were assured when signing this in the contract that this very rarely happened but they needed it for insurance purposes. Whatever we were told was the estimate would be what we could expect for delivery. 6) Once delivered we then discovered that because there was a hallway longer than 300 ft. it was going to be an additional over $400 to have our items delivered to our apartment. This bumped the moving cost past estimates that would've convinced us to go with other options. It was too late though and we couldn't afford the extra cost, so we had them drop our stuff off on the street and we had to take our stuff up ourselves with the small hand dolly available in our apartment complex. We're not done yet! 7) Lots of stuff was broken, they claimed no responsibility for that since they didn't do packing. I guess that's fine, but there's no incentive then for your belongings to be treated with any sort of care. Even worse though is that we had a box worth of stuff missing, that included some electronics worth a few hundred dollars at least. We were referenced to the company that handles their insurance claims. The claim for the missing stuff was rejected because: "No notations regarding this item were taken at time of delivery, to indicate that it was missing or damaged. While shipment was delivered at destination, you should have checked the inventory and notated it if you did not receive any of your items or received your items in a condition different than when rendered to carrier for shipment." So, to clarify- they priced us out of the option to have our stuff delivered properly which deprived us of the opportunity to verify that all of our stuff was delivered properly and intact. This was a horrible experience from start to finish and worse was the customer service. No one involved wanted to take any responsibility, not for the flat out lie about the timeline, not for the extreme delay of delivery past even their corrected timeline, not for the frankly incomplete delivery to the sidewalk, not for the missing or broken stuff. This experience has put me off not just Executive Moving Systems but of using moving companies for cross country moves period. If you're not being moved by a company (i.e. your employer would like to move you to another state), the moving company has zero incentive to make sure you have a good experience. They simply just jump around trying to sell people who are vulnerable due to a situation where they are uprooting their lives and in a disadvantaged negotiation position due to the asymmetrical access to information and experience and because the service itself is shopped out to other companies there is zero accountability. read more

Horrible!! Mover were 30 minutes late, and of the 5 movers we were promised only 2 showed up.. We called executive and they kept telling us the other 3 guys were on the way.. The movers who did show up were not able to move very much at all. I myself ended up moving a bunch of boxes and had to help the movers move a number of items.. 4 hours later the additional movers showed up... The movers damaged a bunch of our furniture. The best part was they would break/damage something and try to cover it up. Thank god we paid for extra insurance... However 3 months later our claim has yet to be resolved.. Phone calls and email go unanswered for weeks... Horrible company! Pay the extra money and go with someone else! read more

Since this was a government move I had no choice in movers...but if you have he option look elsewhere. Unpacking at new home this is what we've found so far: 1. Packed a gas siphon and leaf blower inside deep freezer...now all my frozen foods will have a lovely taste of petroleum until I get it cleaned or a new one. 2. Wrapped antler mount in paper and stuffed in box...shockingly the mount broke. 3. Hammered out a center support beam on dining room table that was glued in place...now I have another project! Maybe not a big deal to some but a big deal to us, especially since the required delivery date wasn't met (probably not their fault thought since it was transferred to various companies along the way...but sitting in Woodbridge for the better part of a month certainly didn't help). In the meantime, they figured out how to get more money out of me for an extra delivery charge. If I could give zero stars, I would. Waiting for our delivery of our goods has been an absolute nightmare. We closed on our new home a week ago today, and were initially told that our shipment would come the following day (last Saturday). Then it was moved to Thursday, and then it was moved again to Friday (today) because the driver needed to get sleep. We were told our shipment would be at our house between 8-10am. It is now 5:07pm and the truck just pulled up (with the assistance of my husband meeting him about a mile to help him find our house, by the way its literally one turn off the interstate). Our stuff isn't being unpacked yet, however, because the driver called workers to come unpack our stuff that were driving up from Atlanta (and they still aren't here). Mind you, our stuff was coming from Virginia to South Carolina, no idea why movers are coming to unpack from Atlanta. We weren't informed that our stuff was going to be (over) 7 hours late, we had to personally call (multiple times) Executive Moving and ask them what the status was. I received no apology as to why this was taking place. This is absolutely horrible service. read more

These guys were hired to crate some of my more valuable items. The movers moving my stuff from Brooklyn to Hawaii recommended them. They did an excellent job crating in Brooklyn, but our furniture has been in Hawaii for close to a month, and we get nothing but excuses as to why they have yet to uncrate our items. Today they told me that they don't have anyone here in Hawaii to perform the service and are reaching out to the movers who dropped off our furniture so long ago. So why take the job in the first place? They don't care as they get their money eventually. No sense of urgency whatsoever and nothing but excuses. Here's an e-mail I sent to Yo-G at Executive Movers after the company refused to pay for damages due to their incompetent packers. The company that brands itself as "The Best Move" claimed that since my things were moved to another storage facility, (where they sat for about six months untouched), they weren't responsible for damage. That's a lot of contract language speaking. The fact is, the packers did not protect some of my most important possessions. Read on. Please don't hire this company if you care about your things because this company only cares about its bottom line. This is absurd. I sent you photos of the packaging. The antique mirror was packed with one sheet of packing paper around it and put in a box. Is that standard practice? It was labeled as a high value item and your incompetent packers put one sheet of paper around it. No one touched that while it was in storage. The same with the broken frames. The same with the dented furniture. Your packers totally messed up. There were paper clips with mounds of paper around them and stuffed into a box with nothing else in the box! Boxes I paid for that were totally unnecessary. It was a joke among myself and my friends when we were unpacking the boxes. No one had ever seen packing as bad as that. I estimate that 25% of the boxes were totally unnecessary. That must be part of the scam you are running. As far as moving to a "foreign" storage container, your people moved my things into a reputable storage facility in South Carolina. Every inch of space was used. You could check their records and verify that no one entered the facility until I moved. The movers didn't do this. The Worst Move Packers did this. You have not lived up to the spirit of our agreement Yo-G. I seem to recall you telling me that you won't rest until you have a satisfied customer. I guess that's only true when it comes to the sale. And you know I am right on everything I say. Your packers did a terrible job and I should not be out-of-pocket for their mistakes. Half of them looked loaded or high and the main one could hardly stand up. I fed them and gave them tips. What a joke. The customer does more for the company than the company does for the customer. They were team players, laughed, communicated, and went above the call of their work duty requirements. Never once complained through a full days work up and down and all around 3 apartment flights of stairs. UGH! I so wish they would of allowed us to help but they would not because it is their job and the customer should not have to do the work. I do understand but please let them know how very awesome they are and I could not have ever asked for a better crew or the service they provided. Worst pack job in 22 years of military moves. My father who helped with the move agrees it was the worst packing he'd ever seen after 28 years of military moves. Packers were late every day, did not show up with the material they needed, were rude, overstuffed boxes, and did not pack correctly. Management was difficult to reach, made promises they did not keep, and the quality assurance inspector never answered his phone or returned a call. The best two packers on the job were visibly stoned and reeked of marijuana. I intend to do my best to make sure no other military family has to deal with this company again. Iosif "Yo-G" Gozner came to my apartment a few weeks ago, looked at all my items, including stuff in storage and gave me an estimate....he was very "upfront" with everything and while his estimate was higher than a different company, his professionalism and presentation "sold" me! Beware of other companies which might give lowball estimates because you get what you pay for! I will report back soon after the actual move is completed. November 27, 2013, The movers are here now....prompt, professional,....taking great care with my items...this is great! December 2, 2013 Due to the Thanksgiving holiday, Executive maintained my goods safely and delivered all on the Monday after Thanksgiving, Elzar, Jose, and Franklin moved all my items into my new home in Maryland from my apartment in Virginia....they took great care with everything and were consummate professionals. 1 star is too good for this company. Not one person that worked for this company ever told me anything that turned out to be true. From packers that just cram stuff in boxes, to loaders that spend most of the time smoking or sitting on my couch, to drivers that don't return calls or have no idea when they will arrive, to an office that has no idea what is going on. Not one person is competent nor has any idea what they are doing, and they don't care is the worst part. I wouldn't hire this company again to walk a piece of paper across a room, it would get torn and not show up for weeks. The story of how everything was messed up is so long it would take forever to write it all down. Let's just say not one thing went right. A one week move has taken over 3 weeks and we still don't have all the stuff yet. And to make it worse they are still moving the date it will be delivered back daily. Executive Moving Systems moved me personally. Yo G Gozner and his crew were excellent. I am very particular and have some very heavy and pricey pieces. There was not 1 scratch during the entire move. I have 56 steps as i am on the 3rd and 4th floor of a condo/townhome and they miraculously were able to fit all my oversized furniture in without any damage at all, not even a scratch on the wall. It took a little longer than expected due to all the steps but they still only charged me their original quite. I am also a Realtor and all my clients whom I have referred to Executive Moving Systems and Yo-G have been completely satisfied with their service. I will be moving to a new place again next year and am absolutely going to hire them again. I have moved with Atlas, Mayflower, JK and UNited Van Lines and Executive far surpassed all the other companies!!! read more

Our experience with them was beyond fantastic!! Wish we could provide more than just five stars. This was our first PCS move and I was a little uneasy about the process, but they made everything a breeze! Ana and Flor packed up our things the first day, and the next day Jesus and his loading crew came to load all the boxes and our belongings into the truck. Jesus was the driver to actually transport our things to our final destination. They actually arrived the same day we did!! Let me just say, they are so organized and friendly. Everything was packed and accommodated super well- we had no damage to our belongings. They unpacked us and put together all of our furniture so quickly!!! This company was assigned to us for our military move - they did the packing and the actual moving. The movers, aside from showing up extremely late, did a good job. However, I would not recommend this company just based off of the performance of the packers. We did observe/supervise our packing at the old house, but apparently not enough. My china - packed in easily identifiable china boxes - was thrown into the bottom of a box with shoes and towels piled on top. My husband's suits/uniforms were in a wardrobe box but they had crammed so many shoes and other clothes on the bottom that they couldn't hang and were horribly wrinkled. His ties and cuff links had been thrown into another box - I had to carefully sift through packing paper to find all the cuff links. Also, all our kids toys were dumped into boxes - including games and puzzles that had been packed upside down. Needless to say we were not satisfied with the way our house was packed up and are hoping the military finds a better moving company. read more

My experience with Executive movers has been wonderful! So much as I have hired them for the second time in 1 year. I am retired military and have moved over 18 times in my lifetime. Many of my moves were with civilian movers. I called 4 movers before selecting Executive Moving. I waited 8 months before actually booking my move for Alabama. My representative was Yo-G. When Yo-G first came to my home he did a walk through and gave me a written estimate. He told me that if his estimate was over the indicated weight that my quote would not go up and if under I would receive a refund for the overage. I did received a refund of $175. My first with Executive Moving went extremely well. The movers were on time, timely in moving the furniture, professional and polite. I have since contracted Executive Moving again and plan to have my second shipment moved the end of February. My mother said she has never heard of someone having a moving company on speed dial. I would use them again if needed and have recommended them to others. read more
