The bad: appts we're in June, yesterday I received a bill for services saying declined by insurance. I call and just as I suspected despite the fact I 100% provided all insurance (I have a primary and secondary insurance) Minute clinic had erroneously submitted the claim to my secondary insurance. Now I wait and it's nearly 6 months later so I'm angry this hasn't been resolved and I just heard about it yesterday.

Then another lady arrives, an elderly Caucasian woman, and after she checks in she is on the screen as "on the waitlist" the staff member comes out and tells the woman it may be a long wait as people Ont he waitlist are awaiting appointments to be cancelled. They argued for what seemed to be a very long time and then it seems as if the staff member (a real nurse Jackie lookalike) takes her in the room. Then, I noticed our name was no longer on the appointment list. That our name had been moved to the waitlist. The staff member comes out and starts trying to give us her explanation and we show her our confirmation email but just replies that the system sometimes bumps people. Then she tells my wife to go to a "Mexican part of town" for an urgent care if she is in such pain as she claims. Honestly I didn't want treatment from this lady clearly on some sort of strong medication herself. Probably not legal medication either. But the audacity and nerve of this employee to treat us this way was sickening. We didn't come with the intention of worse health, but we left this place feeling even more sick than when we came. Waste of time, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for treatment. Unless you fit the mold of the master race.

Parking is very tiny with some street parking offered and the location is on the smaller side. Front desk is sweet but don't expect anyone to be in proper communication with Dr. Desai. The amount of times I have called to go in, have the front desk tell me it's easier to get a telehealth call and then be ghosted is sadly a few. No one seems to know what is going on in this office and at one point I had to call the office for them to remind Dr. Desai that he had a telahealth call at all. Don't bother with the virtual patient portal either, they have you create one and never check it. If you want a doctor who doesn't fully see or hear you as a person this location is for you. You should never have to dread going in because you don't feel listened to especially when healthcare is horrific in this current climate. This office will truly make you fight for yourself; if multiple phone calls to make sure they are communicating with each other and your primary doesn't fight to see if a medication you need can be covered with insurance (which he doesn't, he claimed he would try and months later I never heard a peep) then this is right up your alley. So sad. Don't recommend at all. Just changed my primary.

'Relatively short waiting times and first rate doctors, both times. I was in serious trouble when I visited a year ago and they pulled me back from the edge of a possible sepsis infection. Yesterday's visit was less dramatic but Dr. Kilaghbian is an impressive doctor and I felt I was in competent hands. Based on the reviews I've read, my opinion is an outlier but I do recommend this clinic. I've encountered more than my share of poor care at hospital ER's over the years and, for me, this is a far better way to access medical care. Maybe one criticism before I go, there is lots of discussion in the reviews about the front desk staff and it might be justified. That position is critical in setting the tone for the entire patient visit. It's a tough job but manners do count for a lot and (as you can clearly see in the reviews) make a lasting impression.

EXPENSIVE and EVASIVE about billing…read more I came in here for a suspected case of strep throat. I didn't have an appointment, showed up right when they opened, and was in and out in about 45 minutes, maybe 10 of which was with the actual provider. The place was nice and I left feeling like I received great care. They said there's no copay and that the bill would be submitted to my insurance. All pretty normal. The bill came and it was for over $700, nearly $500 of which was my responsibility. There was no explanation of what the bill was for, just an amount due. I spent the next couple weeks trying to get an itemized bill to no avail. I texted the number they texted me from. No reply. I emailed the address they emailed me from. No reply. I called the billing number and got an AI assistant who said they'd provide me with an itemized bill. Nothing came. I showed up in person to ask for the itemized bill, and all the person at the counter could give me was the amount due. They said they have no other information...at the actual place that provided the service. ALL I WANT IS TO KNOW WHAT I'M PAYING FOR. That's it. I know urgent care can be expensive, but I'm not just going to throw money at it without an explanation! They get two stars only because the service was good, the place was clean, and there was little wait for a walk-in. Now this refusal or inability to provide me with a detailed bill makes me think they're up to something shady.
