The car was taken into the garage within 10 minutes of the appointment time which I was pleased. The job took a little longer than the provided time estimate. Which happens at most shops. My issues began at checkout when I was provided the invoice and noticed a $350 tire plan. I asked the customer service person if he was going to let me know that he added the protection plan. The response, "Oh I thought I mentioned it". Typical used car sales man tactic. Then suddenly the car needed an alignment. The rep threw down on the counter and alleged document which showed the tires out of alignment; however, he didn't even try and explain what the form said just began to tell me I needed it. I was still aggravated about the protection plan, so I told them to give me the keys and I drove away. The car drove perfect and didn't need an immediate alignment like he tried to upsell me. I don't mind the upsell if it is done in a professional manner. This felt shady and I wasn't sure I believed him. The new tires are great and I am happy with the installation. If you decide to go here pay close attention to the final invoice.

My vehicle needed to be towed, and I gave R&G as the destination. To say the experience was perfect doesn't fully capture how exceptional it was. That may sound dramatic, but it's true. Most importantly, the repairs were thorough, professional, and completed with great attention to detail. It's rare to find a shop that combines technical expertise with such excellent customer service, but R&G does exactly that. One of their mechanics was kind enough to just take a listen and see what he could make of it, free-of-charge. When I brought it back for a more thorough diagnosis, they identified the problem (timing belt rubbing slightly on something due to tolerances that are too tight; addressed in a manufacturer's technical service bulletin from 15 years ago). It would have been a big job and a bundle of money to fully resolve the issue. Ultimately they (Brent) advised me to just let it go and keep an eye on it because it's not a "catastrophic" issue. Honest and much appreciated advice. That said, I also had another less satisfactory experience before this. Had a slow leak in a tire, so brought it in for inspection. They had a young (teen-aged) and probably less experienced mechanic patch the tire for me. He kept looking to the older mechanics for guidance, which didn't instill a lot of confidence. Sure enough, the patch ended up failing while I was on the highway. In the end, I had to replace the tire. Upon inspecting the old tire, the folks at the tire shop told me that the puncture wasn't close enough to the middle of the contact patch, but rather on the outer part of the tread, too close to the sidewall to be safe, which meant that it should've been immediately replaced, rather than patched. So, just make sure that Brent and/or one of their more senior, certified mechanics is taking care of things and you should be good!

I've been going to the Shell off Backlick rd for years -- and for the past couple of years, I *have* been thinking that it's gotten a bit expensive, but I've never had another option so... I've stayed. This changed when I got the estimate for new rear brakes and rotors...and I thought ehhh.... Nah. Thats looking like they're trying to up charge me. And this was confirmed by my bf and his mechanic dad. So in a pinch, my bf had gotten some work done there in the last and I thought, Why not?? Let's go there and see what they say. Not only was this Mr. Tire FAST in their quote back to me, when everything was said and done, I BASICALLY paid a good 300$ less --labor and all--than I would have if I had gotten my stuff done at the Shell (If I get my breaks changed, I probably shouldn't be charged individually for the brake fluid flush....) So I thank the Mr. Tire for this. They got themselves a new customer!

What is the lifetime wheel alignment, if it's not a the life of the vehicle? There was no clause in the original contact stating that all parts have to remain OEM! Had there been, I would not have bought the lifetime wheel alignment plan, knowing that I was going to be doing upgrades along the way.

My comment is based off the recent jump in price!…read more I use to go here because it was a huge savings over the dealership for an oil change and tire rotation. That really isn't the case anymore. The oil change jumped $10 (understandable), added some $10 shop supply fee and now they add in a 3.5% credit card fee. And yes I used a coupon. If they are going to add all this extra charges is not cost efficient anymore. I'll probably go to Ford next time.

I felt I was mislead and I left after having wasted considerable time. So I cannot recommend this business unfortunately.
