So they say Unicorns don't exist and when referring to a car dealer...they double don't exist! Well I am here to tell you that Unicorns do exist and on top of that he is a car dealer. I'll explain the backstory. I had a Lamborghini Urus and went on a group car drive, I start talking to another Lamborghini owner whom I had seen around and it turns out that we are neighbors. I start asking him where he got his Aventador and he tells me Exotic Car Factory. He said he highly recommends Shaun at Exotic car factory. My neighbor seems very credible at that tome and over time, I have gotten to know my neighbor and he really is. So not knowing anything about ECF..thinking it's a big dealership..I research them and find out...they are an independent one. Well my guards go up. I have bought a lot of cars ranging up and down the price spectrum, but always from big name brand dealerships. I am so scared and jaded by the automotive business that...no matter what they tell me or say..I always verify and research everything. I walk into anything automotive in full defensive and what scam are they going to pull on me mode. I have heard it all from them and then some! Having heard horror stories from people and online regarding independents. I always had a bias and pre-conceived notions about independents. Well that mentality took a massive U-turn once I went down to ECF looking for a G wagon for my wife. From the time I first walked in and met Shaun...I had my full guards up..but within seconds not minutes..I not only let them down, I threw them away! I can read people fairly fast and overall have had a good track record. Shaun is like that family member that is always there for you...no questions or judgements and you know no matter what they have your back. In the automotive world, people are so busy chasing the dollar at any cost, they lose their moral compass. With Shaun Dollar comes second and his character, word, respect and professionalism comes first! I have written tons of bad reviews based on what people deserve and very few good ones because very few people have earned it. It takes relocation of a mountain for me to write a positive review for someone...especially in the Automotive world. Everything my neighbor said about him was not only accurate but in person he is 10x better. Anybody can sell you a car but how many times have you ever walked away from a car dealer feeling satisfied and not thinking what did they add or what fine print did you not read. Well with Shaun the only feeling you walk away with is wow..solid, honest, he has a character, keeps his word and just a very down to earth human being...especially considering he sells exotics...some into the millions. Shaun is not about sell a car and who cares about relationships or repeat business. He is the opposite..he has very high ethics and stands behind the vehicles he sells..delivering a high quality, clean and amazing cars..the people who refer him and I have learned he has huge repeat clientele...you can't buy that..only earn it! In the exotic car world good or bad word gets around really really fast...for him to have this stellar reputation and survive in this ultra competitive space...I assure you it's not because of the cars! No matter what I threw at him, how many times I called him or went down there...he was always the same...even keel, knowledgeable, respectful, patient and never once try to be pushy or even attempt to sell me anything. Shaun is a very rare person in his industry...he has something 98% of the industry doesn't...A Conscience and that is why not only did I buy my G wagen from him..I also sold him my Escalade V. On April 1st 2026 I drove a couple of hours to come look at a 991.2 GT3RS - VIN: WP0AF2A98KS165412 Before I made the trip out, I was told by Anthony that the "minor to moderate" damage noted on the Carfax was the result of a broken windshield. In fact he told me the car didn't have any body or paint work. When I asked for records to back that up he said "i can see what i can get but forsure that was it." He knew this because the car was owned by a close friend of the owner. During the PPI I had done, it was discovered that the car had been re-sprayed, been on a frame bench, had the rear axles removed and reassembled with sloppy witness marks, etc. When I informed Anthony of the condition of the vehicle, he assured me that the seller of the vehicle (supposedly a friend of the owner...) had lied to them about the condition, and that he was just as upset about it as I was. He paid for the PPI which was the only small silver lining of this situation. He also texted me "I will be de listing the car and going after the customer. I hope you understand we do business the right way and we never do any customer wrong. Sometimes things are out of our control... it was truly not my intention or of my knowledge" 20 days later and it is still listed at the same price.
