Hands down the best place I have done business in a long time! Honest and fair to say the least. I dealt with Apple, they told me they could upgrade my iMac all I had to do was come see them. I called Experimac and told them and they explained to me that Apple couldn't do what they were saying and explained why. Upon further research they were right, Apple was going to try to sell me a new Mac. I went to see them at Experimac because I could trade in my iMac for a better model and pay very little out of pocket. They transferred all my files and called me the next morning to pick up my new machine. I brought it home and had an issue. They couldn't see it but the HD was going bad or had an error. They worked to get another system and transfer things. Long story short I spent about 4 hours in their store (by choice) I watched them turn away business to Apple or Sprint, Verizon etc because the person could save money. Not once did I see them just say yes to anything they always asked questions and always made sure the customer was on the winning side. After several hours here I walked out with a system that is much much much better! All in all they did a fabulous job. I learned a lot, I had no clue they sold Mac's everything Apple. I thought they were just a repair and upgrade shop but they are much more! I would go here anytime anything Apple doesn't work, or you want an upgrade, or just need another. At a fraction of the price you can walk out of there with your new toy and still have money to go next door and get a steak or the other way and get a doughnut!! The staff here is A plus! Took my busted iPad mini to Experimac last week. They were super nice and attentive. Screen replacement price was completely reasonable and much less than other repair places in South Chandler. I brought my iPad in about hour before they closed. They indicated they might be able to squeeze it in by end of day but first thing the following morning was more likely. My recent experience highlights the difference. A couple months ago, when under previous ownership, I explained the trouble with my desktop to Nadine. She told me that the video card went bad and that she had the replacement card. A total charge of less than $300 USD would be the cost. Since I had a working laptop, I decided to wait until I was ready to get the needed repairs. In early July, when financially able to repair my desktop, I went back to Experimax, Chandler. I was informed that the shop had new owners. Given the exceptional service that was previously provided by the servicing technicians, I thought nothing of proceeding. The technician told me that all was well with the computer. I was informed that he turned on the computer and everything worked well. He told me that he changed the color on the screen because it looked a little dim. And for this "inspection" he charged me $100 USD. Once reinstalled at home, the computer images were dimmer. Try as I might, nothing was able to brighten the screen to the level during the previous usage. Within a day, I noticed that not all of the "functions" were available: working in a substandard manner. So, the next day, I took the computer back to Experimax and explained that something IS wrong. This time, the technician was there with the new owner. I reiterated that there is something wrong with the computer and told them that a new video card was needed. The technician proceeded to tell me that I was wrong. The owner, with less technical knowledge than the technician, told me that she would directly speak with Nadine and would ask her about my computer: given that I had previous dealings with Nadine and this shop. The next day, the owner informed me that Nadine is on vacation. Once Nadine returned from her vacation, the owner would directly speak with her to get an analysis of my computer and situation. A couple days later, when the shop was closed, I looked through the window and saw my computer unmoved from the front desk: exactly where I left it a couple days earlier. A couple weeks followed before the same technician called me; by this time about three weeks had passed since I first left the desktop at this shop. He told me that after his analysis, the video card had indeed gone bad. He then informed me that in this computer, when the video card goes bad, the entire mother board would need to be replaced. And, given the cost of the mother board, it would be best if I just bought one of their used computer that cost a minimum of $600 USD. 1. I knew he was lying. This was an older unit, before 2012. These units were designed to easily replace and upgrade desktops and other units. Was insulted that he would think that I would believe his lies, and disgusted that he didn't know the difference. 2. Cheaper units are available online through eBay and Offer Up. I know this because I bought an upgraded unit for $300 USD while waiting for this shop to "get its act together", out of respect for Nadine. 3. The technician refused to refund the $100 USD charged diagnosis fee. He said the best he could do is to provide me with accessories that added up to the total charge or to apply that charge towards another unit. A couple days later, I went back to the shop. The same technician was at this shop. I told him that I wanted my computer returned to me and that I wanted my monetary refund for "diagnosis". At that time, he gave me my desktop. However, now that the shop has new "new" owners, not only is monetary refund available, he is not allowed to allow exchanges. The two New Owners, had no idea of my prior experience with this shop. Although sincere, they expressed that they would not refund my fee. Their position was that the debt belonged to the previous owner: not their problem. Although I respect their position, am not satisfied. To make matters worse, these new owners know less about Macs than the technician. This conclusion was proven right there on the spot. As the Universe would have it, a manager with Mac Repair Experience was there at the shop. The new owners listened to me explain how I know that their technician is insufficient. The Mac Manager confirmed my analysis: all of it. That model desktop computer can be repaired with replaceable parts; a video card being included in this possibility. Final Analysis: 1. This site is not able to repair Mac Products. It is better to seek another business with their knowledge, and 2. If your product cannot be repaired, seek online avenues. Your product will be guaranteed and offered at prices that are much more reasonable. This is not the same shop owned by Nadine. Do not expect the same exceptional service and quality products that were provided under Nadine. read more

Great experience. My son trashed his cell phone screen (not just cracked it). Though we had cell phone insurance, Experimac Chandler gave us a reasonable price that was comparable to the deductible on the insurance - and done in only about 2 hours! I called Experimac and she told me to stop by and they'd change it out for me right away. 10 minutes after arriving I had a brand new battery for my I-Phone. It only cost me $40 and some change. I needed to get several things on my iPhone 6s Plus fixed in order to trade it in. The staff at this store we're extremely professional and understanding of my needs. They didn't try to upsell me extra services and we're trying to help me repair the part of my phone that needed to be fixed for the trade in only and nothing extra. Another customer who was in the store at the same time had an iPhone 11 screen needed to be fixed and they checked the cost of fixing it at the apple store to make sure the customer was actually saving money by going with them instead of the apple store. This type of business ethics is something I really appreciated and makes me confident they are trustworthy. The quality of the repair was really high, I couldn't tell it had been repaired at all and I am confident I will get my full trade in. The pricing here was also much lower or equivalent than competing repair services in the area. The store was very spacious with place to sit while you wait and very clean unlike some other competitors. Overall I could not recommend this place enough! read more

Refreshing excellence. My iPhone lost a battle with a SUV tire, screen a mess. Sent a note to Experimac due to Yelp reviews. Was contacted by phone no less, in about 1 minute! Short polite discussion, began to prepare to depart for the store. Received a note from Experimac as I was leaving telling me that the repair may be less ($169) at Apple as Experimac charges $199. After looking at the local Apple stores' reviews online, and no longer having patience for cold and careless service, I drove to Experimac feeling that $30 is worth it to avoid the frustration of corporate retail. Well, I would like to do a little homework before I make purchases. I went to the Apple Store and looked at the new Mac's. Their prices for the new computers are a little rich, but that's what you get if you want to Apple. I decided to look into a used Mac. I looked at two other stores before finding this one. I actually came across their advertising on the side of the road-1 of those little lawn signs saying they were down the street. Dropped in and I was impressed. The owner was great to deal with and she didn't try to blow any smoke up my you know what. Her prices were right in line with the other two stores, maybe a smidge or a smidgen a half less. I found myself busy like normal so I didn't make it back to this location for a couple weeks. I just happened to be in the neighborhood so it seemed like a good day to drop by and see what Macs they had. They just received a pretty decent new Mac and the pricing was where it needed to be. I bought it and she threw in a couple keyboard protectors. The next day I received a call from them letting me know that this computer just happens to have a three year extended warranty on it so she grabbed my email and sent that information over. Overall, I'm going to say this is a pretty great experience. Super friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy. read more

Sierra at the Chandler office is a very smart, and helpful tech who really gives great service.
