I found Expert Flooring Solutions through Yelp App. They had the best star rating out of bunch of flooring stores in Las Vegas so I gave it a shot and hired them to get rid of all of them Ugly Dust Collecting Carpet in my 2 story Condo and replace it with Wood Flooring. It took them about couple of weeks to install the Wood Floors because they had to move around bunch of furnitures and it was a Mission Impossible Nightmare, but they got it done! This is an exceptional flooring company!! Our medium sized, single story house had a mix of flooring. Laminate and tile were removed prior to the job by Expert Flooring leaving a mix of bare concrete and carpet along with baseboards. Flooring throughout the house was replaced with luxury vinyl plank. We also had the baseboards replaced. Expert Flooring took out carpet and also moved furniture and toilets in order to perform the installation work - no easy task. From start to finish everyone was awesome. Kiesha in the showroom was a great help - her knowledge about product and advice were very helpful. She also scheduled everyone and kept things rolling. Shawn did a great job of looking over our job before to give us an estimate and after the work was done to check the quality of the work performed. Wow...I can't say enough good things about Expert Flooring Solutions. From top to bottom, this company is comprised of the best of the best and we are so happy that we worked with them. We recently bought a beautiful home that needed a good amount of updating to unlock its true potential. The first and most important item for us to tackle were the floors as about 3/4 of the home were covered in outdated, mid-90s green carpet. We knew that replacing this was not going to be an easy undertaking and absolutely had to pick the right company to do the job. First, Tom, the owner, really cares about this company and has built it right, hiring the right people to run the show. From the outset, before any flooring work was done, we worked with Keisha to select floors, get pricing, set a work start date, and arrange a payment/financing strategy. She is fantastic at her job and always keeps the communication lines open to make sure that everything gets covered and to put the customer at ease during what can normally be a very stressful and expensive process. We then worked with Shawn to have multiple measurements done (we continuously changed the scope of our job and Expert Flooring was gracious and adaptable to all of the changes), as well as our final walkthrough. He also is awesome at his job and really makes sure that the customer's intent with the flooring job itself is met by the work crews. Finally, when it comes to the crew, we were thrilled with the work that Ryan and Mark did. They essentially spent every weekday for two and a half weeks in our new home demo-ing the old carpet/baseboards, dealing with some relatively significant leveling issues with the foundation, working around fireplaces, putting in new risers, and finally transforming the house with beautiful Rincon Luxury Vinyl Plank flooring. They were very adept at communication over the course of the two and a half weeks and always made sure to reach out if they needed more information for the job or if something came up. They were also just good people to get to know over the course of the job as I took care of other projects around the home while they worked. The end product speaks for itself. This was not a light undertaking but after the work that Expert Flooring did, this doesn't even feel like the same house that it previously was. We just bought a house in Las Vegas, and it needs help. As we slowly figure out what we want to do, we have been using word of mouth, and Yelp to help us find the services we need. We needed to replace the carpet in our guest bedrooms (2) and we received a recommendation for Expert Flooring Solutions from a general contractor. She helped us pick out some carpeting, and had samples sent to us directly. We picked the colors, Tom came and measured the rooms, and they ordered the carpet. Because of the shape of the room, Tom wanted to use a particular installer, so we worked with his schedule. Jose & Corey came out as scheduled, and did a beautiful job installing the carpet. They worked with my husband to come up with some suggestions and solutions to the closet issues, and it looks great. After calling, and speaking with a rep, we came in on a Saturday with samples of our hardwood floor we're trying to match in the rest of our house downstairs (2,800 sq ft). The place smelled like cigarette smoke, and the two gentleman were more interested in the softball game at the back of the showroom than helping us. When one gentleman saw our samples, he told us no one makes it anymore, that no one refinishes it any more (not true, it had been refinished previously), and that if we wanted it matched, it would be too expensive, but they'd be "happy to sell [us] some carpet." This is a long overdue review for Expert Flooring. We had laminate flooring installed in our downstairs living and family room (previously was carpet). The entire experience was extremely positive. Keisha in the showroom was patient, friendly, and knowledgeable. She helped us select the perfect laminate for our house and explained the entire process to us. Sean came over to do the in house estimate and he was friendly, helpful, and competent. He quoted us a very fair price. The installers- Jeff, Jerry, and Mark were great. Those fellas were polite, friendly, efficient, and clean. The job they did was fantastic and we could not have been happier. Great attention to detail, quality workmanship, and they cleaned up after themselves very well. Sean then followed up to do a walk through of the finished project to make sure that the install went according to plan. I was going to go with Lowe's to do the laminate install and thank my lucky stars that I found Expert Flooring. Our next project is doing the upstairs bathrooms and I will be sure to give Expert Flooring this project. No surprises, no bait and switch, no hassles, and just smiles when we look at our downstairs flooring. On a related note (and this is where you can tell the integrity of the company)- after a few weeks of the planks settling, we noticed that one of the plank's lip was sticking out just a tad. We contacted Keisha who contacted Jeff (the main installer). Jeff promptly called, made an appointment to come out and fixed the issue with no hassle, no attitude, and no "I don't see anything wrong". Circling back to my mention of Lowe's, we had carpet installed by Lowe's and found a couple of flaws in the installation. After a few weeks they finally sent someone to inspect the problem. The representative said he saw nothing wrong and was more interested in closing the ticket than fixing the problem. He kept saying that there was nothing wrong and that there was nothing he could do. After two years of living with the horrible beige carpet in just about every room I knew I needed to get it out of at least the main living area and my office. I'd been holding off on unpacking all my books in the office bookcases since I knew they'd be moved for the flooring and wanted it done. Having checked out the reviews for several places I decided to stop in here. They had a great selection and an attentive salesperson who helped with a rough quote based on the sketch I brought in. I found two vinyl planks I loved and they let me take the large samples home to make sure they would work. Setting up the appoint for the measurement and quote was easy and the actual time for that was quick with an estimate I could live with for both the floors and replacing the baseboard. They worked with me to get an install date and the installers were there and ready when scheduled. It did take a bit longer than originally expected to complete the removal of the previous flooring and then the install of the new flooring and baseboard but not too much. I was comfortable with leaving the installers to it for the last two unexpected days when I had to be at work and they locked up the house just fine when they left. I'll definitely be looking to Expert Flooring when I'm ready to finish out the two bedrooms to banish the beige carpet for good. read more
