WONDERFUL! AMAZING! What a miracle this place is!!! Special shout out to Sinclair & the 2 techs w her. They were amazingly patient, kind, and professional. They made the entire thing an absolute breeze. Also major kudos to Esmeralda in scheduling. She was incredibly helpful in making this happen for me. The upright/seated front-facing MRI is a godsend for those of us who are claustrophobic!! You simply sit down and watch a movie while they do your scan. It's comfortable and you can see the techs while they do your MRI. That alone makes a big difference. They even have a fan if you need moving air on your face, which helps some people. The time flies by. I had just about given up on having a necessary scan because the horrible tube & even the "sandwich" style open machine were too terrifying. Tried them both but gave up. The staff was very kind and helpful , the main gal that helped me was friendly, cheerful and young, vibrant and patient . This procedure of the sit down MRI is so much better then the regular MRI's . Here you just sit down and try not to move. . They give you foam ear plugs , but I don't like sticking anything in my ears so I held mine to them , the machines are very loud . I really appreciate their patience since I have claustrophobia, they took their time to make me feel that everything was going to be okay. but those who make the appoiments are a disaster, they changed the time of my appointment without letting me know. Expert MRI is the worst and most incompetent Imaging service ever. The have failed to return $80 co pay after cancellation on August 3rd. There was a reschedule for August 13th which I have called and cancelled on two separate occasions, and they still called me today to confirm an appointment tomorrow morning. I am a disabled senior on a very low income. Expert MRI failure has caused undue stress that is having a negative impact on my mental health and well being. read more

I had my appointment today, and honestly one of the best decision I made to choose just facility. I had my appointment few weeks ago at their Fullerton facility. Their staff was well pleasant and well attentive, however due to me being claustrophobic I wasn't able to complete my MRI (open MRI Machine), so I had to reschedule my appointment at their Riverside facility. Riverside has Fonar Upright (sitting down) machine. Other than machine being loud, it was very easy and very convenient MRI experience. Expert MRI Riverside is the best facility! The front office staff is amazing! Sweet, kind, empathetic, energetic, responsive! Just as are the radiology staff! Esmeralda is a highly experienced professional with an acute forte for the perfect bedside manner! As for the Open MRI! A God-send for us claustrophobics! The MRI team was AWESOME!!! So kind, empathetic, patient, supportive, attentive! They talked me through each step and when they saw my anxiety increase they rapidly responded in a gentle caring manner! Positives are that you don't have to wait too long to get an appointment and they have an open MRI machine for the claustrophobic. The schedulers I dealt with were pleasant and I like that they send you all the info to your email. Negatives are the location is a little run down, their closed MRI is located in a trailer outside of the building and both their machines look to be cheaper outdated versions. Also, don't expect any good noise cancelling headphones or music. Bare bones small earplugs that don't block the machines noise. I had two appts and all the MRI techs were nice and explained everything during the process. The worst thing was their CD burner was broken for my 2nd visit and she said not to worry, the doctor gets all the images... not. Never got sent nor was the CD burner repaired a week later when I tried to get a copy for the Dr. appt, resulting in the doctor not being able to do a complete evaluation properly. While their medical records staff was nice and tried to help, the info still never made it to the ortho office. For what I was getting charged, I expect all records to make it to the prescribing doctor in a timely manner like they advertise. read more

I visited this imaging center as it is considered an "opening" imaging as I sometimes get claustrophobic. The techs here were very helpful. They set up a TV and fan for ventilation and to keep me distracted. The center has a window into the techs office which was also very helpful. The techs staff made themselves available and visible as this helps me overcome restlessness. They also offered me a pillow for comfort and earplugs as the clicking sounds of the MRI machine makes me uncomfortable too Lol (I know I'm a sissy). But beciase of their staff and set up I was able to get this procedure done and it was not as dreadful as it could have been. I went to another location and they left me alone in a dark room no window, no call light and unfortunately this is when I found out I was claustrophobi. I had to use a loud voice to get someone to come in and remove me at the first location. With EXPERTMRI it was the opposite experience. Thank you EXPERTMRI for understanding. On Saturday, 4/6, I went to ExpertMRI for the first time. In short, it was a wonderful experience--especially considering the fact that I am extremely claustrophobic, to the point of avoiding elevators. I had already been to three other places for an MRI, but each experience was horrible. My lawyer finally referred me to this place, and I'm so grateful that he did! At the doorway, I already started to panic, but Shahram K.T., Chris, and Nadia were a great team. They played a movie for me, were patient with my need for a break, and didn't get irritated at all when we had to repeat a section because of movement. Nadia was even kind enough to put in earplugs and sit IN the loud room in front of me so I could look at her the whole time. Lastly, what really moved me was how they treated my mother, who was very worried about me outside the imaging room. They reassured her that I'd be okay, and offered water that helped her heart calm down. Thank you so much! I couldn't have asked for a better place. They didn't have to be as nice as they were, but it made all the difference. Sending the great energy back to them! read more

I live in Foothill Ranch and went out to Expert MRI branch in Riverside because they have a stand up/ sit down MRI. My appointment was 1:30 but got there around 1:pm. Reception team was welcoming and provided the forms I needed to complete. They were very helpful on questions regarding completing the forms . Once done with forms I was quickly escorted into the prep area and then into MRI room. The two young operators of the equipment were kind , polite and made me feel very comfortable throughout the process. I followed directions to not move so I didn't need any retakes and was out within the hour. I would highly recommend using Expert MRI Riverside branch as the team there and equipment were top notch. read more

I needed an MRI on my knee and my Dr. scheduled me an appointment at ExpertMRI. First the front office was kind and helpful. They explained everything to me and made me feel very comfortable. I was a bit nervous about having an MRI because I do not like feeling confined. This office uses a machine that did not cover my whole body. The office staff worked hard to make me comfortable. The office was on time and very efficient. Front office staff was super nice and friendly! The location has great parking in the back of the building and is freeway close. I came here to get a MRI requested by my Doctor. First off my appointment was scheduled for 9:45am, but I arrived at 9am. I checked in along with 2 other people. I was called back about 30 min after arriving. So at 9:30 I went back and MRI took place at 9:45am. They ended up taking an image of the wrong area so I had to redo one area. The MRI of 3 areas including having to get images of another area due to their error took 90min. I work 12 hours commute 2 hrs. So I was TIRED. To top it off I waited 30 min for the CD of the images because they couldn't find the images in the system. All in all I was here from 9-12, 3 hrs . I will not be back!!! read more
