I went there to checked why my brake lights weren't working and they told me the diagnosed was going to be 156 dollars, but shortly after I received call asking for another extra 352 dollar because they need more time to figured out the problem. After I get there they wanted to charge me another 176 for more diagnose. I ended up with a bill of 743 dollars and nothing was fix and they still weren't able to fully tell me what was wrong with my car or even fix it. Negative Experience: Express Auto Electric! The map lights were out on my used Honda Accord, and my alarm was going off at odd hours, so I scheduled a consultation at Express Auto Electric. At first, they said it was an easy repair, and recommended replacing the dome light switch and hood latch. This consultation alone without repairs totaled $156.12. They sent me home, claimed they had detached the hood switch, but did not and the alarm went off at 1:30am. I kept calling back to see if the parts were in and got different stories. I dropped my car off for the repair, left it all day, and around 4:30pm they said it wasn't that issue: I needed a new multiplex, which can cost $440-$1,000. At this point, why wasn't this determined when I paid them $156.12? The front desk hummed and hawed without a true reply. They said they found a refurbished part for $440 and would not charge me labor, given the hassle. I kept calling to see when the part came in and could schedule the repair. Several weeks later, I bring the car in, they take the full day to install the part, they say the total is $1,060.02! I replied that they told me they were not charging me labor, only $440 for the part, so the associate takes off only $70.25, saying there was a $500 programming fee! I was appalled--why wasn't this fee ever mentioned?! My regular mechanic, Shawn and his team at Knight's Service Center NEVER do things like this! The price they say is what you pay. Unfortunately, they do not do electric repairs, so I was left to find a shop that does and had the misfortune of landing on this terrible, unskilled, unethical mechanic. !!Do not go here!! They took out my good battery and put a dead battery in my car and tried to get my to pay for a new one. Came in for a speedometer calibration with a fully functional battery, they took it drove it and brought it back and when I got it my car didn't start, the man who was working on it was waiting nearby was very sure it was the battery when I know my battery is good and I've never had that problem he continues to insist it's the battery I refuse a new one, it gets jumped and I go home after a day the battery is dead again and now looking at it it's not the battery I went into the shop with, I went in with a working 2019 diehard battery and came out with a dead 2022 Duracell battery so yea the battery was the issue because he caused it hence why he was so sure it was the battery. read more

This month I took my car in for an A/C service. I wasn't satisfied. Normally I smile don't say anything and go somewhere else. But not this time I was angry I had trusted these people for years I was like what gives now. I even said some things about Bob and his business that were unwarranted. My financial situation has taken a downturn I was very frustrated and it showed. Here is where Bob has gone above and beyond anything I've ever experienced with a mechanic. When Bob found out I was unhappy he called me back to the shop showed me what he did and we talked it out. As a long time loyal customer, he didn't want me 1. Talking bad about his business. and 2. Didn't want to lose my business. I was surprised. Most places would have written me off as a cost of doing business. Not Bob, he learned of my situation and worked with me on alternatives to keep my vehicle going safely until I'm back on my feet. My 10 year old car had a problem with the tail lights. They and some other lights in the rear mysteriously stopped working. I took it to Beach Ford. They worked on it all morning and said I needed all new rear light bulbs replaced and one socket was broken and they needed to order a new one. I was supposed to retutn to have it done and decided the probability of all the bulbs going out simultaneously was remote. I took it to Express Auto Electric and they found that a secondary fuse box under the dash had a loose fuse! They tightened the little things that clamped it, replaced the original fuse and Voila! Everything worked! I only had to pay a diagnostic fee of $99. a third of what Beach Ford charged without fixing it! I would recommend them to anyone! read more

Brought in my Infiniti in that had issues with the aftermarket airbag suspension tank/wiring that was installed by a different shop. The electrical component had stopped working and the tank wasn't holding air. Express Auto staff kept great communication with me from start to finish with updates on what was going on with my car. Overall satisfied with the work done and experience with the staff. Brought in my car for a safety inspection. Sara was very helpful over the phone with information on what I needed for my car given I just moved here from Hawaii. While waiting for my car she stayed in the lobby area and kept me company which made the time go by extremely fast, she is very professional, funny, kind and helpful. This is the worst experience I ever had! I went to this place to have my annual car inspection. They told me that I needed to change three tires, they quoted me for $149 per tire. I knew that I could find a better price, so I turned down the offer. After I changed my tires from other shop, and came back to do the re-inspection. They gave me such hard time! First, they made me to wait for at least about11/2 hour. Second, they gave me this nasty attitude; Third, since they knew that my tires were changed from other store, they drove my car for 2 laps, and checked my car for about 1/2 hour. I can't thank and recommend this place enough! I came in needing a inspection, plus electrical work done on my Mercedes. I already had a quote for $1,500 from one body shop and another quote from the Mercedes dealership for over $2,500. I was just going to have the Mercedes dealership take care of everything that way I knew it would be done right. My husband said hold on he found a really good place let's go and check them out.
