Very decent 24-hour Laundromat. All the basics are there: clean & working machines, clean facility, staffed, well-lit, and doesn't feel dangerous. CASH ONLY. Despite older reviews or posts, as of May 2025, all the card/tap terminals appear to be turned off and taped off. So, be forewarned if you were expecting that. There is one of those mini ATM machines. My clothes came out clean and were dried completely. Definitely going to be my back up option in the future for late-night laundry. read more

Giving this location a second chance. Stopped by around 10:15pm to do last minute laundry, they were open and empty. The lady working at the location was cleaning the machines. We used the 60 lbs washer which was $6.25. The machine was clean and didn't have that old water stench to it. The soap slot was clean with no build up which is always a plus. We didn't change any money for quarters since we brought in our own quarters. Will definitely come again. read more

I was in the area doing an errand and had my clothes with me, having plans to wash after. I'm not from the area but decided to look for a laundry mat in Whittier. I came across express coin. I parked on the street , the parking was full, came inside to check it out and was very impressed. The laundry mat is super clean , the price is reasonable , the washers don't smell , they have a variety of washer machines and dryers. The dryer cost $0.25 for 8 minutes. They have 50 and 30 lb dryers. The also have 60, 40, 30, 20 lbs washers and the regular small load washer. Prices for the washers range from $2.25 to $6.50 . The restroom is very clean and free. I didn't see any homeless or drug users. They have benches to sit outside and inside. It's very fresh inside the laundry mat and either the owners or the worker is constantly going around to sweep and mop. They are open 24 hrs. The daughter of the owner answered my questions , welcomed me for being a first time guest and even gave me free water. I told her that for me, the washers not smelling and being free of mold and lint is a big deal. I don't want my clean clothes smelling . She expressed that the family takes pride in keeping up with the property and making sure the prices are reasonable to keep their regulars happy . That speaks highly of the family. They don't have a working bathroom, it's been out of order for over a year but the attendant will let random people in there, so it works but they pick and choose who goes in. they will not help pick up slippery messes, huge liability on their part.They will not exchange your bills. I initially came to this place because of the reviews and the fact that it stated their washers accept cards and had wifi. Both are false. All machines card readers are blocked off with tape. There is an atm machine available with a 3.00 service fee... had I known that I would have gone to pull cash at my own bank prior but I was anticipating using my card. After settled, I tried getting onto the wifi to get some work done. The network name of CoinExpressLaundry given was not found... a name under "laundromat" wouldn't take the password given. Two of the coin exchange machines were out of service. There is no shade when the sun hits the windows in the morning which makes it hotter inside. The machines do work well. For the most part the place itself is clean however there was a transient inside who threw food on the very limited seating that was available. read more

Had an emergency laundry that needed to be done ASAP and it was really late at night. Most laundromats close around 10 PM but this place closes at 12 AM. It really came in clutch. The sign on the door said "Last Wash 10:30 PM" which worried me because I came in around 10:40 PM. All the machines are coin only. They have a quarter dispenser that can take bills up to $20. As for the washing machines, they have loads ranging from 20, 40, 60, and 80 lbs. They costed $2, $4, $6, and $7 respectively. The dryers are only 25 cents. I used the 60 lbs which took 25 minutes to wash. The dryer only takes 12 minutes. Super quick! What makes this laundromat 5 stars is the cleanliness. They have a staff that cleans continuously throughout the day. In addition, they have free WiFi and lots of snack machines. There's also multiple TVs and sitting areas too. Overall a good experience and I would definitely come again. read more

My washer and dryer broke down and I've been coming here until they get replaced. Super clean place, and Jennifer is always so sweet and friendly. Also, the lady that is here in the morning is such a hard worker always making sure everything is clean at all times, she never stops, she is always wiping, sweeping and moping. I also love that they have a great variety of snacks in the vending machine, A/C, TVs and a clean restroom while you wait. I've used a lot of laundromats, but this one attracts a good number of unfriendly, rude, and sketchy customers who stare down folks as if the laundromat was their personal territory. Watch out for Ms. Highlighter Pink in the pic. If you come here, go during daylight cuz the freaks come out at night or just drive farther to a better one. You can also wear shades and don't make eye contact. It's unfortunate because the washers that can lock are clean, the dryers have strong heat, and prices are fair. The cheapest washers weren't that clean with some debris and hair in them. But the staff is nice, especially the Asian gal, but they're not security and can't protect you from the crazies. The parking lot is also small and again, some of these inconsiderate customers will park and block other cars. Keep it classy, people. read more

Come here since I lived to Whittier and it's Usually packed weekends. They have good prices, washers don't have that nasty rusty water smell- dryers work well. My washer at home does not accommodate large heavy blankets, so I go to express coin laundry to wash these items. I've always found the laundry clean and the washers and dryer's well-maintained. They have a variety of washer sizes but only one large capacity dryer size. There is an on site person available to help with any questions. The restroom was also clean. read more

The laundromat here is clean and the prices are good. HOWEVER... I have recently been finding that the machines here are likely ruining my new clothes. I at first thought it was me , but after buying new dress shirts for work and washing here for the first time , I now know it might be the machines being dirty and in need of cleaning. I find grease stains and oily residue build up on numerous shirts which in turn ruin them. I know that the dirty machines can be caused by dirty peoples clothes but when I look inside and find bugs and dirt in the drums they need to clean them more. Quick searches online for what I'm experiencing results in the confirmation of this. I will be coming here for large load washes and towels and things because it's clean, well lit and safe, but it's disappointing to know shirts are being ruined. read more
