Express Dry Restoration - Water damage in commercial property

    Express Dry Restoration

I cannot say enough good things about Express Dry and, in particular, Omar Martinez…read more My elderly parents experienced a hot water slab leak that caused water damage in their garage, hallway bathroom, hallway, and entryway. As anyone who has dealt with water damage knows, it can be an incredibly stressful situation filled with uncertainty, unexpected costs, and difficult decisions. From the very beginning, Omar was outstanding. Before authorizing any work, I asked a lot of questions regarding scope, pricing, asbestos testing, contract language, payment terms, and project expectations. Omar never became defensive or impatient. Instead, he responded quickly, professionally, and transparently to every question I had. What impressed me most was his communication. Throughout the entire project, Omar consistently kept my parents and me informed with updates, photos, videos, moisture readings, scheduling information, and detailed explanations of what was happening and why. Whenever new issues were discovered, he explained everything thoroughly and documented the changes before moving forward. He went above and beyond to make sure my elderly parents understood the process and felt comfortable every step of the way. He regularly checked in, followed up even on his days off, and treated my family with genuine kindness, respect, and compassion. At one point he even asked me to wish my mother a Happy Mother's Day and told us that my father would be in his prayers when he wasn't feeling well. Those small gestures meant a lot to our family. The asbestos testing came back negative, the dry-out was successful, and the project was completed exactly as explained. Throughout the entire process, Omar demonstrated integrity, professionalism, patience, and exceptional customer service. Water damage is never something you want to deal with, but if you find yourself in that situation, I would not hesitate to recommend Express Dry. Omar made a difficult and stressful situation manageable and earned our trust from start to finish. Thank you, Omar and the entire Express Dry team, for taking such great care of my parents and for delivering outstanding service.

I had water damage under my kitchen sink that leaked into my garage. Express dry was the last…read morecompany that I interviewed after an all day interview process of several companies. The only reason I even went with them was because of the impressive plumber I met with that recommended them. They came that night and helped initiate the process of drying the next day. Noah Lopez was the rep and was my contact initially. I saw 3 restoration companies that day and 3 plumbers so I had a decent idea how of much water damage, estimated time of deconstruction and reconstruction. A lot of companies get a bad reputation because they try and tear up as much as possible and I thought Express Dry was different but I was proven wrong. After a few days of drying, they all of a sudden discovered that my tiles were 30-99% saturated and they had to rip them up which would add another 2 weeks of work. I was confused on how this was NOT spotted initially by them or any other company I saw that initial day of interviewing. Everyone commented on how I should be lucky that the tiles didn't get wet. So obviously I called BS on them. They tried several scare tactics by having me sign some hand written statement that I would be liable and having multiple try and convince me to remove the tiles. Thank God I got a second opinion and had an outside company return to check for water damage and they too once again confirmed that tiles weren't wet and even if they were, there are other options that don't involve tearing up the tile. I thought I was getting a company that looked out for me but they were obviously looking to rip off the insurance company and make money for them. Noah tried to convince me not to contact my insurance company myself and he would do it all for me but I'll glad I called my insurance while he was present. I think that made him upset because after that, he went from being pleasant to being irritated, especially after the process began and I attempted to contact him. There were other things they did that also rubbed me the wrong way but I don't want to get anyone fired. Just another example of how can't even trust people to have some decency, even in 2026

Coast To Coast Restoration - Remodel completed 2023

    Coast To Coast Restoration

I recently completed a major renovation of my kitchen, master bathroom, and powder room following a…read morewater damage claim, and I couldn't be happier that I chose Coast to Coast. I'm the type of person who is very specific about what I want and I did my homework. I got four different bids for this project, and C2C was the clear winner. Their quote was completely itemized--which I appreciated--and ended up being well under every other retail bid I received. Two people really made the difference: Mary and Bolo. Mary is a literal pro when it comes to the insurance side of things. She worked tirelessly on the supplements to ensure we maximized our RCV payout from our insurance. She caught things the adjuster missed and helped us get the settlement we actually needed to do the job right. Bolo, the project manager, was extremely responsive and reasonable throughout the entire build. Whenever a technical issue came up--even complex stuff like electrical circuit stability or specific plumbing heights--he was there to talk it through and get it handled. One thing I will say for people considering them: you need to be the kind of homeowner who has the capacity to stay on top of the work. If you know exactly what you want and you're willing to stay involved in the day-to-day details, C2C is an incredible solution. It's a partnership, and because I stayed engaged, we were able to hit a level of quality that usually costs twice as much. The house looks amazing (see the photos of the Blue Thunder Quartzite and the Jade tile!). They were fair, they were fast, and most importantly, they were responsive. Highly recommend if you want high-end results without the "luxury markup" of other firms.

This is the second water leak mitigation & restoration we've done with C2C and while the PM on the…read morerestoration portion was outstanding this time, overall, there were more issues with the mitigation than last. Specifically, they subbed out the demo portion to another company which incurred more costs and thus lead to rejection of payment by insurance company. Or rather, it was ruled as costs extending beyond ordinary expenses. Had it been included with the mitigation equipment, the insurance would've likely accepted it, as it did last time. The actual work performed by everyone was great in the end, just as it had been last time. Everything was remediated properly and more importantly, timely. Brandon the PM on mitigation along with David the PM on the restoration side were great, with David being the most responsive and communicative PM I've ever worked with. Meaning, updates everyday, as promised. That was the best part of the whole project for me as an anxious homeowner. I will say that my own insurance agent didn't help matters either in this case. He was super hard to work with and eventually C2C had trouble reaching him. This also soured the whole experience as everyone worked to track him down by phone and to prove that all expenses were legitimate. I'm on the fence as to whether to use C2C again for mitigation. Would not hesitate to use them for restoration though.

Go ahead and stop looking around now, because Swift is the best. I had a failed wax ring from my upstairs toilet leak water into my downstairs kitchen, and I got 6 different quotes for mold remediation and restoration. Nate from Swift Restoration was one of the only ones to not exaggerate the scope of what needed to be fixed, which put my mind at ease. Marco, the technician who demoed the water damaged parts of my kitchen, was extremely professional and did an amazing job securing the work area, even making sure that my cat did not escape as he was going in and out of the front door. I have vintage cabinets and light fixtures that I wanted to keep intact if possible, and Marco was able to do this no problem. I ended up staying with Swift for the restoration part of the job, and they did incredible work. The cabinets and ceiling look better than ever and like nothing happened. They were able to work with my budget without compromising on quality. Shoutout to Victor for an incredible job, this man is a construction master and he finished the restoration job faster than we anticipated while still doing solid work. Ian, the company owner, was available through the whole process to answer any questions I had and make sure that I was happy with the results. That is a level of customer service that is rare nowadays and I am grateful to everyone at the Swift team for taking the stress and worry out of my water damage restoration problem.
