I brought my car in this morning to remove a nail in my tire. The technician said my tires had dry rot and couldn't fix it. The tires are a year old. I took it to another tire place and they fixed it immediately and said I still have good tires. I need other work done but will no longer go to Mavis. What a scam. read more

Don't bother with this Mavis location. The service is terrible and they do not do good work. I got new tires there about a year ago and that went smooth enough, but got a leak in one of my tires recently and took it to them to patch. After waiting for 2 hours for them to get it done, I woke up the next day to find the tire flat again. When I took it back to them to re-patch, they told me it would be several hours before they could fit me in because they were busy, yet there was not a single vehicle in the garage. So, obviously, they just didn't feel like fixing their shoddy patch work. I came to the Mavis a mile south on Hwy 9 instead and got terrific service, and the facilities are much newer, nicer, cleaner and more comfortable. Don't bother with the Bethany location when Stephen runs such a great operation just a mile south. read more

Mavis is always a great place! The people that work there are friendly and take the responsibility of the safety of your vehicle as their priority. I had an extreme flat tire and they inspected the tire and all others. Thankfully I only needed a patch and they were able to make the repair for me! I highly recommend Mavis! read more

I was warmly greeted by Arvin (sp) who asked if I'd been leaving my vehicle or waiting. After finding out that I'd be waiting, he did everything humanly possible to ensure that my vehicle would be returned ASAP! Now that's excellent customer service! In addition, Kayla previously asked if I'd like to open an account which I did--it took less than 5 minutes! I received 6-months no interest and, they matched the buy 3/receive 1 tire special that I received from KIA. I like this store until I realized there was a pattern. They're annoyed by customers who aren't dropping the car off to stay all day. They don't want you waiting with the car. They'll tell you that it's going to be 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation and don't care if you walk out. If you're not planning to drop it off and wait for them to call you 7 hours later, don't go here. Adding to this review; I've had to replace the tires I purchased from this store twice in the past year. A hole in the sidewall once and a bulging radial the second time. Not only is their service garbage, so is the product. AVOID THIS STORE AT ALL COSTS! read more

Listen, when I tell you that this Mavis far exceeds customer expectations. I went to another location for alignment and tire rotation. Upon leaving, I noticed that my right tire was vibrating. Due to the service at the other location, I decided to return my vehicle to a different location to resolve my problem. Going to the Mavis location on Alpharetta Hwy was one of the best decisions I made this week. Justin, the store manager, listened to my concerns and made sure that we addressed all issues. He treated me with respect which I felt the other location was lacking. Professionalism displayed along with great focus on customer service has made me a dedicated customer of this location. As a woman, we often experience discrimination with mechanics and service shops. This Mavis location is a service shop that EVERYONE can trust. A truly great experience today. Can't tell you how disappointed I am. I ordered tires and set up a reservation to have 2 tires replaced. I took a half day off and was at the store at 8. I was told that the tires had been canceled on thus was not there. It was explained to me that apparently the store they were getting them from did not have them so they were canceled. It would have been nice to get a call telling me that. Never had this issue when you were Kauffman tires. Oh, by the way, I have purchased many sets in the past. Time to find somewhere that values and wants my business. read more

I had a real bad flat tire, almost flat to the rim, so I called the closest tire store. The gentleman on the phone took all my information and set up an immediate appointment for me. He told me there would be no wait and that it would take all of 30 minutes to change my tire. He told me to just say my name to the person who greeted me. I arrived approximately 10 minutes later and did as I was instructed. The person behind the counter looked at me as if I was speaking another language. He had no idea who I was or why I was there. I told him I had just gotten off the phone with someone from his store. He demanded to know who I spoke to, and when I told him, he gave an annoyed sigh, stating "they don't know what they're talking about"! The bottom line is, the person at the counter told me there WAS going to be a wait - a three hour wait, although I saw no one else there. He was quickly trying to get me out of the store. I suspect it was because it was 4:10 pm and he wanted to go home. I was extremely upset, because his representative had me drive all the way there on a flat tire, only to be turned away by the one person who could help me. I will never ever consider returning to a Mavis store. The owner needs to re-evaluate his staff and hire people who want to be there and have a true desire to help people. read more

Went in to get my tires checked. It had been cold for a few days and my tire pressure light wouldn't turn off. I asked them if they could take a look at it and it literally took 5 minutes. They said all of them were low and they fixed it for free! Along with entertaining my kid, and a bird that was on the ground! You guys are awesome! read more

Service has drastically gone downhill since this was a Kauffman Tire. I stopped by on 8/22 to see about getting a tire rotation. The lady in crutches told me to come back at 2 pm after looking up my service record on the computer. I went back an hour and a half later at 2 as requested. I was told by the gentleman behind the counter that I would have to wait until 5 pm and the previous person did not make me an appt. I also heard one of my guys left early and another is at lunch. So I made an appt online for 8/28 at 6 pm. I dropped my car off at 5:15 and asked when to expect it to be done. I was told about 7:15 pm. I left and came back at 7:30 pm and they had not even started. Again, my guy is on lunch was the excuse and I only saw one person working on cars. I was actually asked if I just wanted to take my car. I said, "No, I want you to do my tire rotation." I started to walk laps around the parking lot to get steps in and ran into the mechanic as he went to his car to put a pizza box in the trunk and asked how much longer it would take to finish the car he was working on. When he realized I was waiting he was nice to work on my car next. No communication from the front office is unacceptable. He drove my car around to the front. I went inside and was handed my keys, never got an invoice, never signed anything. Very unprofessional front office. Will not be returning to this location. read more

I'd written an earlier review about a place that was terrible. Now, will come full circle and write about the experience I was expecting. My "tire pressure" light had come on - stopped by here to get it checked out. The manager told me to pull my car right into the bay. Then he and one of his technicians checked the air on all tires (not just the one where the indicator was showing) and reset the lights. They then told me if I had any problems with it to bring it right back. Total time there, 15 minutes....100% satisfied. Thank you! read more

Horrible customer service and lies. That is what you get here. It doesn't matter that your a customer of several years. I bought all new tires here, and in less than three weeks, one of them went flat. When I filled it up, it bulged on the side. They charged me to replace this defective product. They were unable to replace the tire right then, so they told me to come back the next morning. I did come back at the designated time, and they told me they couldn't do it and that I'd have to come back at 4. I have a law class 25 miles away in Atlanta at 6. When I bought the new tires, I told them to replace my spare with the best of the old four. Guess what wasn't done. Don't shop here. There's a firestone only a couple miles down the road. Was told by customer service 4 Continental tires in stock for an 8am appointment the next day at the Highway 92 location. Wrong, tires not in stock causing the order to create a negative 4 quantity status in the system. Delivery truck would not arrive until the afternoon so service desk employee went to pick them up personally. A 1 hour visit turned into 4 hours. Customer service is blatantly committing misrepresentation or likely plain lying just to book business. Based on other chatter this is an ongoing serious problem that Mavis appears to be condoning. Kauffman Tire was great and sadly unfortunate that serious customer service/management ethic problems at Mavis is ruining that honest reputation. The only positive, the employees running the 92 highway location were great. Former Kauffman employees. read more
