Stopped in for a quick oil change, and left with 4 new tires. Grateful for the staff here for ensuring my (and my future baby's) safety. The gentlemen here were so kind and helpful, and went out of their way to go over everything with me. They taught me about tires and the appropriate tread you need and when you know it's time for a change. Well, mine were way overdue to the point that there was barely any tread left, and this could likely cause me to hydroplane more easily on a rainy day. I am always skeptical when getting my car serviced, especially showing up by myself, but the staff here made me feel so confident in what they were advising and made sure to discuss it in detail with me and show me on my car before letting me make my final decision. The tires I needed were luckily in stock, and I even checked the price of the tires online and confirmed that they were not overcharging me in any way. I had a deeply disappointing experience at Express Oil Change & Tire Engineers. I waited in my car for almost 20 minutes without anyone coming out to acknowledge or assist me. Then, another car pulled up, and an employee immediately went to help them. When I asked why no one had approached me, the employee rudely denied my wait time, claiming it wasn't possible since they had just opened at 8:00 AM (it was 8:22 AM), and even implied I was lying. This was both disrespectful and unprofessional. I asked to speak to the manager, and instead of handling the situation properly, the same rude employee shouted from about 15 feet away, saying something I understood as "the manager cannot come out." Frustrated, I left. When I later called the manager to share my feedback, the situation became even worse. The manager outright accused me of lying, claiming they were "right there" during the incident and that the employee had told me to wait for them. This was absolutely untrue--I never saw or heard the manager at all. If the manager was really present, why didn't they step in and address my concerns at the time? I have reported this incident to Express Oil Change corporate because what's most alarming is that the manager, who should set the standard for customer service, was rude, dismissive, and outright accused me of lying. This behavior sets a very disturbing tone for the customer service culture at this location. Even more concerning is that the employee involved is young, and incidents like this teach them that it's acceptable to be rude to customers, ignore their concerns, and accuse them of dishonesty. For a company like Express Oil Change, which prides itself on customer support, this reflects very poorly on the brand. As a loyal customer of 10+ years, I expected much better. Whether due to a change in management or poor training, this location has lost its way. If you value respect and professionalism, I strongly recommend avoiding this location. I went for 4 wheel alignment, after 1:30 waiting, they came back saying there were only able to do front wheels. I disagreed with the outcome and regardless they did it and charged me for only the front wheels. their alignment was wrongly done, as when I went to another location, they told the alignment was really bad. I had a flat tire and went in to check. I was advised to change tires. Told me the tire was not repairable. The person was very confident there was no puncture and the tire has gone bad. An oil change for a woman can be intimidating. Many feel, are they going to rip me off because I'm female, or try and sell me something I don't need, etc etc. NOT AT ALL the feeling at Express Oil C & S C. First of all, one of the mgrs is a female! They had more than one female working, and 4 out of 6 cars being serviced were women drivers. I pulled into a parking spot and immediately an attendant greeted me before I even turned off my radio, thinking I had to go inside to pay etc. Nope! He asked me what I needed and assigned me a spot. Told me he just started the car in front of me, so it would be about ten minutes. They were polite and working the whole time, I was not bothered an ounce. Plus, I brought some work to do in the car while I waited. When it was my turn, they completed my full synthetic oil change for $73 and change. You have two options, sixty something or $73. As a first time customer, they gave me $5 dollars off and a coupon for the next time. Summary: Fast, efficient, polite, and not shoving products to be bought down my throat, YAY! Been a loyal customer for 4-5 years, they never charged me more than $65 or $70 for oil change for my Volvo. I passed the Volvo onto my daughter who is 17 she takes it in and all of the sudden oil change has increased to $120. This Express Oil Change sits right near the intersection of Ronald Reagan Pkwy & 141 (not far from the Starbucks in this area). I decided to drop in here b/c I've had such a great experience the past couple stops at the location off Windward Pkwy. Originally went there for an oil change, and then went back another time for headlight replacement, and then my honey had a good experience there too. This location is a ton closer to me, so thought it would be worth the try. All locations are independently owned so there is no guarantee that service will be the same. I was having major brake problems too on my Honda Pilot, which was the other reason for going closer to home. I had not set an appointment and it was going on 12:30 so was a little worried they'd be able to get it in on a Saturday. The guy was really nice, said they had a couple cars in front of me and didn't want to promise he'd have it done that day but he'd do his best since another car was getting brakes replaced and that was their only bay open. I liked he was straight forward. He said he'd call me by 2:30 to let me know the problem and cost. I got a call around 2:15, and he mentioned my car needed new brakes and a new rotor (yeah, it was metal on metal action when i was braking), plus 2 new front tires. He said he didn't have time to do the tires (they didn't have them in stock) but he COULD get my car done before 5PM (their closing time on Saturday). I was ecstatic! I got the call my car was done around 3:45, and cost was only going to be $440 (front brake pads plus new rotor, which was most of the damage). That wasn't bad at all considering what i could have paid at Honda. I dropped in at 4:30, and car was good to go. I want to say, what i love about this location and the other one is that the service is exceptional and they don't try to rip you off. They recommend exactly what should be done and BY NO MEANS do they try to sell their service to you. I HATE pushy salespeople and they do a phenomenal job of of being the polar opposite from that. They were not able to clear my readiness alerts forcing me to visit Honda dealer but they retested and passed me afterward. read more

I have been to MANY oil change, tire repair, mechanics. Right before I came here I went by a (closer to me garage) was told I could drop my car off , that it typically takes 90 minutes to do the actual oil change. WTH!! I know that an oil change doesn't take an hour and a half. Found Express, and decided to call. Glad I did, spoke with Jimmy who said (bring it now, you don't have to wait right now) when I got to the garage everything was explained to me start to finish. And for the first time EVER I was told my air filter didn't need to be changed yet. I highly recommend this place ,nice guys ,Jimmy,& Kelian. Went to Express Oil Change - 6065 at 525 Peachtree Pkwy Cumming GA. They rounded off the head on my oil drain plug. But, they didn't tell me until I asked them directly. Don't understand why they couldn't be up front and tell me about the problem immediately. It would appear they've never hear of the Golden Rule. Should change their name to "Slow, Shaky, and Shady Oil Change". I don't trust these guys to do the right thing! And neither should you. read more

They gave me 2 options for a synthetic oil change, in the $60s and $70s & I was so happy! The last place I went to charged me $95! The technician who did my oil change also showed me how to clean my air filter. Even better, the technician was a woman. I'm pretty sure she was a manager. Yes queen, yes. I only went there for my oil change, but I felt so good about the service I decided to get my brakes looked at too.
