I went online for four tires and set up install appointment…read more Online prices neglected to state any promotional pricing applied and additional undisclosed fees. As stated by Austin (claimed to be the manager). I arrived for my appointment and was informed that the online prices were promotional pricing, therefore, no additional military discount may be applied. Understandable, however, I asked Austin to show me where that promotional offer was stated in writing. Austin stated it's not written anywhere in order to verify, and that's how online pricing is. In addition, he disclosed "shop fees" that were neglected to be disclose online quote "out the door price" As I tried to state my point, Austin began to behave in a passive aggressive manner at which he deferred to not only cutting me of at every sentence but also speaking to me in a demeaning manner stating "that's the way online prices are big guy", and "I'll make sure to add your complaint to the long list of complaints". He appeared to have taken the matter personal from my observation. I stated there was no need to be referring to calling me "big guy" even after he knew my name. Ultimately, Austin's behavior was not necessary, yet it seems he may be experiencing frustrations from dealing with this online pricing issue. He eluded that this online pricing matter was a bigger headache than I understood e.g. "shop fees". If online pricing is a bigger issue, then at best the company should consider looking into properly disclosing all fees and charges, to include all promotional offers e.g. discounted prices on tires. This may alleviate continuous points of contention with pricing as Austin eluded to. Or at least consider restructuring the front staff as to ensure staff aren't being burnt out. Sadly, as a one time customer this was a disappointing business transaction and would not be returning back and will not be recommending Apex tire & auto to friends and family. They diagnosed what was wrong and gave a fair estimate -- most importantly, they said it would be done today so he and his GF to continue on to Orlando. They completed the service, found they didn't need another part which was calculated in the estimate (a $250 savings), replaced the battery in his key fob, etc. He appreciated talking to the owners and their waiting room as well. As he put it, they were a "blessing" especially being from OOT.

I was told over 1,600. when I was searching on line (replacing front bushings,) it said: JJ auto service charges $500 to $700. I took my car to another mechanic that had very good reputation. He looked under my car and said: there is nothing wrong with your front Bushing. I did not trust JJ auto service, I checked if my liquids were toped off, there was hardly any antifreeze, I went and got a gallon and filled it myself. I asked the mechanic to please change my oil, I do not trust what they put in my car, the filter that came out was very dirty and black! They lost my business, there is no way in two weeks the filter would have been that dirty!

My brake light came on I refilled it and the next morning all of it is on the ground near my rear tire. Drum seals gone(?) so I had it towed to a shop that had some great reviews "Aarons on Spring park" instead of sticking with Parts only because they were closer to where I live now. Aarons calls back yes Drums are gone and the cost to repair $700+ brand new brakes, drums etc. Hold up guys let me call you back and i call johnny and tell him what they said to me. he said Rick you do not need to have all that done and the price seems a little steep. Let me give you a rough estimate. $320+ tow after all was said and done tow and all the total was $385.14. So my recommendation take your car somewhere else have them do an estimate then call Johnny. Odds are you will do better here. DO NOT LOOK for warm and fuzzy and be direct with Johnny he is a mechanic, No I mean a real mechanic someone that would work on a car reach over and eat a Krispy Kreme without washing. They kindly did a full diagnosis on my vehicle but the information provide to me makes me not trust their intentions. Since May I have had a air leak in my RR tire. The only tire to have ever been an issue due to it being used. They gave me an estimate of over $3,000 dollars. Mind you I ONLY came in for the oil leak and checking brakes. I was recommended to replace the front two tires due to pressure and traction. They stated the back tires are fine. This was a lie based on what I already know about my tires. I have to put air in the RR tire almost every day because of the leak, but you are saying its fine? I refuse to not believe that I was getting scammed to buy what I did not need. My mother was representing as me since I could not physically be there. I do honestly feel like they were taking advantage of not only me but also my mother. Its a shame because I only came to this location for their reviews but next time I will be going to Jiffy Lube. I hope this location gets the business that they actually deserve based on this review. If this gets a response, I am telling you right now I am not emailing and contacting anybody from this business. That is your job to direct my concerns to who needs to hear it.
