The first time in 2023, they admitted it and had to repaint my wheels due to scratches from careless weight removal. Fast forward to 2025, I returned for a simple tire rotation + balance and now all four wheels are scratched again, identical damage patterns. This time, they flat-out refused to take responsibility, even with clear photo evidence and a history of the exact same issue documented on their own service receipt. Their customer service was dismissive and unhelpful. They refused to escalate, resolve, or even acknowledge the issue. If you care about your wheels, go somewhere else. Went to Crane Tire to have tires balanced on my truck. went back because there was a shake, he…read moreremoved both back tires and they were good, he charged me for the re-balance full price. Drove the truck, still shaking, went back and he re-balanced both front tires which were way out of balance with the weights he put on, he removed the large amount of weights and put on much smaller amount, he charged me again, so I paid for 2 times the normal charge ($80 total), and had to go 3 times for him to get it right (which he never did, can't tell until it is driven), why was I charged all over again? I told him that the imbalance was not my fault. He said he had to pay for the repair of his compressor. That is not good business, although everyone there was very nice. Have since gone to Walmart and had them balanced (I have the receipt $60 for LIFETIME balance and rotation) and the truck no longer shakes. That is proof that the problem is with his equipment or use of said equipment, (he installed used weights, not new ones). He also said he just bought the used tire equipment, maybe that was the problem. In any case it was not my fault and I should get a refund especially since he double charged me for his problem. I will file a complaint with the BBB. Every business makes mistakes, it is how they handle the mistake that makes the difference.
