I went into Monson to inquire on whether they could help. The gal at the counter said absolutely. She said we'll get the knots out and clean it for you. I asked if I could pay right then so I could quickly "grab it" when it was ready. She said.....there's no charge. I said, I insist on paying. She refused and another gentleman came over and said absolutely not. I was shocked!! But in such a "wow, this is crazy" way. There were 3 employees in the store. Maybe all owners. And ALL so kind, welcoming and willing to help. If you have ANY jewelry needs, you should definitely check Monson out. I learned afterwards that they reset my sister's wedding ring and she had nothing but great things to say too. And her ring/setting is beautiful. Thank you, Monson! From me and my mom.

When I called, the first thing Jon did was talk me through the process of resizing a ring based on the metal type and style. He was very informative and kind. I called a couple of other places and immediately knew Jon was the go-to person. I took my ring in a few days later. The building did through me off (it's a big office building, when I expected a stand-alone store. Just FYI incase you think you're in the wrong place.) Inside of the store had a great atmosphere and Jon again was super helpful! The ring was ready in 4 days and when we picked it up, he also helped us look through some wedding band ideas for my fiancé. We may go back to get his band from TDC. We were greeting by a nice lady and offered us a drink while we shopped. I got sparkling water and my buddy got a coffee. They only sell 2 watch brands here: Tudor and Rolex. We quickly looked at the Tudor area but the sales staff was busy so we headed over to the Rolex area. We were helped immediately from a sales staff member and we were shown a couple watches. We asked what they had in stock and they only had a few lady pieces and had 1 DateJust in stock which is what I was looking for but it was the Bright Blue and I really want the Mint Green. Do I just get it or get what I want? I decided to get and wait for exactly what I want. It was so hard to pass up but don't just settle. We made our way to the Tudor area and I looked at the Black Bay Chrono which was impressive. After trying this on and feeling the watch, I have quickly added to my list of a future watch to purchase. I love the fact the staff is nice and answered all of our questions. They were not trying us to convince us to make a purchase. Even when I was waffling on the DateJust, the sales person agreed, get what you want and don't settle. I'll stop buy to check on their stock. And when I want to buy the Tudor, I'll come visit to make a purchase.

Most of the other Jewelers I've been to that carried Rolex were not very friendly, and dare I say, snobby. This location was recently opened and was beautiful and clean. The whole 9 yards. They told me they also do in house Rolex servicing with lvl. 60 certified watchmakers, so I won't have to send my watches all over the place to get them fixed up. I'm very impressed. I'm not Mr. Moneybags by any means but they treated me with respect and kindness. I did not get the vibe I get from other jewelers who always try to get you to buy random shit to buy the thing you want. They have earned my respect, and when the time comes, I want to do business with them.

Some time ago we brought our $10,000 + Piaget watch to Timothy Grant Jewelry in Lake Zurich, IL for…read morea simple battery replacement. Although we did not know it at the time, the person who helped us broke two of the four screws that hold the back of the watch on. The person then handed us a small plastic bag containing the parts that used to be the watch. She said we would have to send the watch somewhere to be fixed. We then wrote a review of the incident on Yelp. A representative of Timothy Grant Jewelry called and asked us to bring back the bag of watch parts for repair. We came back with the bag and Timothy Grant Jewelry "repaired" the watch and asked us to take down the Yelp review, which we did. We paid for the new battery and left the establishment. This month the watch needed a new battery. We took the watch to a reputable jeweler. When he opened the watch to replace the battery, he told us that 2 of the 4 screws that hold the back to the watch are broken and the heads of the screws were glued in to present the appearance that the watch is whole. We then attempted to communicate with Timothy Grant Jewelry to resolve our issue. There has to date been no response from Timothy Grant Jewelry. We have had three negative experiences, first he broke the screws that held our watch together and handed us a bag of parts that used to be our watch, second he claimed he fixed the watch but fooled us with a fake repair by gluing the heads of screws to the watch, third he would to respond to us in any way to resolve the issue.

Evan was knowledgeable about the craftsmanship that goes into the watches, the backstories of inspiration for each, the mechanical differences, elaborated on the brand's warranty, gave suggestions on how we could best purchase the watch, and handled procuring it in a timely fashion. There was someone there already getting a watch battery replaced. So, while waiting, I walked around admiring their clocks and watches. They have quite a selection - great if you need a nice clock for yourself or as a gift. I took some pictures and a short video and posted them for you to see. When it was my turn, he took the watch and went in the back. It didn't take much more than five minutes for him to return with the watch working again! And the price was very reasonable, under $20. Fun store with good service.
