Walking in I felt I stepped back in time. There were so many watches and clocks from years ago. The gentlemen looked at the watches and honestly shared one watch would cost more to repair than it was worth and was able to fix the clasp and replace the battery in minutes. I definately will return the next time I need a watch repaired.

I went into Monson to inquire on whether they could help. The gal at the counter said absolutely. She said we'll get the knots out and clean it for you. I asked if I could pay right then so I could quickly "grab it" when it was ready. She said.....there's no charge. I said, I insist on paying. She refused and another gentleman came over and said absolutely not. I was shocked!! But in such a "wow, this is crazy" way. There were 3 employees in the store. Maybe all owners. And ALL so kind, welcoming and willing to help. If you have ANY jewelry needs, you should definitely check Monson out. I learned afterwards that they reset my sister's wedding ring and she had nothing but great things to say too. And her ring/setting is beautiful. Thank you, Monson! From me and my mom.

Roman took care of me! I brought in my grandfather's 1950s 18k Omega Seamaster. It's been in the…read morefam for three generations and it needed a cleaning to take out that ancient whale oil gunk (I'm not kidding, but remember it was 70 years ago), oiling the movement, and adjustments as needed. He also replaced the mainspring just as a matter of course (which he said he was going to do, and indeed, as Omega always does when you send the watch to them, no matter what). He quoted a figure, I gave him a deposit, and he gave me a date of two weeks out (which is awesome for a C/O/A job on a 140-part movement). I later phoned in that I wanted an Omega buckle on the new wrist strap. He tracked one down! And the balance? Exactly what he promised, even though he replaced a part that he didn't initially see was faulty. He returned all the replaced parts to me. This man took care of this watch as if it were his own. Next up for him is my grandmother's mantel clock. If you take a glance around his shop, you'll see the man knows a thing or two about mantel clocks as well. I 100% got my money's worth from this experience.

The business owner demanded a $20.00 deposit from him at the time of drop off. When I heard of this I went to the shop the next day to tell them not to proceed. The shop returned the watch but they refused to return the $20.00 deposit.

He is absolutely talented, trustworthy, honest, and super passionate about his field of knowledge and work. We walked in not knowing so much about the whole engagement ring selection process, but he made us feel very comfortable upon arrival and kindly gave us the much needed informative session before we started looking at any specific pieces and discuss wants & needs. Jon was able to give us a step-by-step guide through the whole process. He did not ever push us to make any decisions (you can't find this with other jewelers) and gave us plenty of time to think through and genuinely wanted us to make the decisions that was best for us. He kept in good communication through everything and never missed a single detail. He was able to always answer my questions and reassure my worries and made sure we were comfortable and confident in our final choice of diamond and setting. We truly thank him for all the effort and work that he has helped us in creating our memorable piece and valuable experiences. I recently asked him to replace a diamond on my wedding band, and he told me all he needed to do was rotate the diamond. He could have easily told me it needed replacement, which would have cost me way more, and I would have had no idea. He is honest and dang good at his job.

We were greeting by a nice lady and offered us a drink while we shopped. I got sparkling water and my buddy got a coffee. They only sell 2 watch brands here: Tudor and Rolex. We quickly looked at the Tudor area but the sales staff was busy so we headed over to the Rolex area. We were helped immediately from a sales staff member and we were shown a couple watches. We asked what they had in stock and they only had a few lady pieces and had 1 DateJust in stock which is what I was looking for but it was the Bright Blue and I really want the Mint Green. Do I just get it or get what I want? I decided to get and wait for exactly what I want. It was so hard to pass up but don't just settle. We made our way to the Tudor area and I looked at the Black Bay Chrono which was impressive. After trying this on and feeling the watch, I have quickly added to my list of a future watch to purchase. I love the fact the staff is nice and answered all of our questions. They were not trying us to convince us to make a purchase. Even when I was waffling on the DateJust, the sales person agreed, get what you want and don't settle. I'll stop buy to check on their stock. And when I want to buy the Tudor, I'll come visit to make a purchase.

I challenged him and he reduced it to $40. When I got it home one watch had a link that was not connected correctly. I brought it back. He fixed the link but when I got back to the car it was too loose. He said he made it larger when he fixed it. He did then adjust it smaller, but it still didn't fit quite right and it was possible to get a more precise fit if he was willing to take the time. Very brusk.
