I thought long and hard before leaving this review, but I feel very inclined to. I have been to the salon three times now and each time I have had an overall poor experience. In fact, the only reason why it has taken me this long to leave a review, especially given that it is a negative one is because the owner herself is such a sweet woman. I would never want to have a negative impact on her business, but I have to share my experience. With that being said the number one issue I have had here is timing no matter the time of my appointment or the date of my appointment every single time I've come in here the stylist has started at least 45 minutes to an hour past my scheduled appointment time and that is extremely frustrating. The first time she did this I was actually pregnant and that made my experience so much more uncomfortable than I already was. The second time she did this was the day of my son's first birthday party and I told her that I was on a time crunch. The last time she did this was my last appointment and we didn't start until an hour after I arrived because she was doing two other peoples hair. What I will say is that the first time I had a good experience regarding the style itself I think she did really great job installing my tape ins. The second time I believe once she finally started my head she was in such a rush the tapes were improperly placed to where you could easily see them when the wind blew. This last time she did a half up half down sew in and I don't know her method, but it was the worst. A half of half down sew in has ever looked. She rushed while molding my hair, so it was not secure. There was a gap in between my Ponytail and my back section. I don't know how that even happened, but it was such a huge gap. You could see all of the tracks. in fact, I had to go get it fixed by another hairstylist today and spend more money. I tried explaining this to her and Voice and my complaints directly to her and I was basically gaslit so I told her OK no worries and I went to go get it fixed elsewhere, but it's because of that, that I felt inclined to leave this review because I have given this shop three chances and each time I've had an issue. read more

It's my birthday and I went to her from a recommendation of a friend. She was not friendly, or personable. Didn't help when I was asking her questions about how I should do my hair. She washed my hair conditioned it put no product in my hair but two spritz of heat protectant than blow dried my hair and flat ironed it. I was left with poofy and stiff hair. My hair is usually very silky and flowy. I only straighten my hair once a year which I told her that so In my opinion some product or even a deep condition is necessary. She kept telling me my hair was hard to blow dry and tangled, she complained a lot. I've never had anyone have problems doing my hair. She charged me $100 for the press and $20 for a trim and I tipped her $10. I've had to come home and re flat iron my own hair on my birthday. read more

I was so excited to write this review. I have been getting my hair done for 20 years in a salon and the process is always so tedious I would dread going. I would need to plan my entire day around getting my hair done, having my appt time pushed back, having the stylist switch between myself and 3-4 other girls. After 6-7 hours at the salon, I regretted the entire process. I have had the BEST first experience at extended beauty bar. First of all, there are mimosas. Enough said. I had an incredibly relaxing wash in the bowl with my head propped up as well as my feet. Everyone was so kind and accommodating as I sat in the clean salon enjoying myself. The hair dryers come out of the ceiling and you sit in a bar stool kind of chair and there is a desk if you need to get anything done which was HUGE because often times, I do have work on my laptop to get done. The best part of my experience was that I was in and out of the salon in 1.5 hours. I was so shocked I wanted to cry. My hair is VERY thick and its about 18 inches long. It takes most people 4 hours from start to finish without stopping. It looked so beautiful and was so silky and I had the best conversation with my stylist Mikey while getting this all done. This experience has changed my mind completely on what kind of service I deserve. Going to the salon should be relaxing and accommodating- I have a small infant at home and I was actually UPSET this process didn't take a bit longer so I could continue to enjoy it!!! SO RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. This is one of the rudest most unprofessional salons I've ever been to. Scheduled a consultation as a new client for an emergency appointment arrived and no one was there. Rang the doorbell 5 times, sent them 3 texts, and called 3 times. No answer at all. So unbelievably unprofessional and rude. I drove all the way from El Segundo to Glendale and took off work specifically for this appointment and it was all for nothing. We had been communicating via text to set up the consultation prior and I didn't receive a call or text or anything before they just up and left for the night nor did they send anything to confirm the appointment the day before. For the professional prices shown on their site I expected some professional customer service or at least some common courtesy at the very least. I was really looking forward to becoming a client of this salon and was willing to drive the distance because the other reviews on yelp were so great, but they made it clear they don't want my money or business. read more

Staff members are adhering to COVID-19 protocols by wearing a mask and stations are distanced from each other. The ambience is great, the blush pink walls, white chairs, and chandelier lighting make you feel like you're in a spa and the team is super friendly, offering you a mimosa as you walk in. Jazmyn took care of my hair needs with a thorough wash, finely layered cut, and voluminous, loose curl style. She listened to my wants and kept my hair length while adding layers so that I had more volume. My hair has never been so bouncy and light, I love the finished look. What's convenient about this salon is that they also have Heather to wax and shape your brows. I recently had a hair appointment with Jazmyn and it was the best experience ever. Scheduling an appointment was very easy online, which I prefer. I was nervous about the parking however, there is a lot of parking in the back. Heather gave me the most relaxing hair wash ever. It was more than a hair wash it was an experience. I'm use to the hair washing process being rushed or really rough but not this time. I was glad to see the COVID precautions in place. They sanitized chairs/areas when clients got up and theres enough room to socially distance yourself from other stylist/clients. Working from home during Covid has been challenging but now I know I can bring my laptop and work from the drying station. It's set up like a bar and very accommodating. I only planned on getting my hair done however, Heather does eyebrows so I gave her a chance and now I'm never letting anyone but her touch my brows. It felt good being able to get multiple services done in one place. I got an extended ponytail and I love it! It was so fast and Jazmyn gave me tips on how to care for it after I left. I've never met any of these ladies before my appointment and by the time I left, I felt like we were all friends. The ambience is calming, and classy. I don't recommend bringing small children because it gives more self care, focus on your experience vibes. I will definitely be returning. read more

The service is great, but beware of foul smelling hair bundles!! I can't wash the stinch away and can't wait to take my pricey sew-in weave out! The hair smells like it came from an animal or was water damaged and mildewy. I do have a heightened sense of smell, at times, however my boyfriend also noticed the stinch after I pointed it out to him. The service is great though!! read more

Every time I've gone my stylist hasn't called me in until 20-45 minutes past my appt. She never talked to me as she was on her phone the whole time. Her assistant was the one that braided my hair which is fine I just was excited to have my stylist do my whole head. The vibe i got from this place was that they just wanted people in and out. Not really a place that feels cozy or welcoming. My hair turned out really well so I'm not going to complain about that. I just wish I had a better experience. read more
