    Disclaimer: Long, but honest review…read more (Downgraded to 1 star after the response from John. See below. Not worth me being back in touch "to chat". This is the first "apology" and it's not even that. He has made his position clear and I will assume he speaks on behalf of the "company".) This is a small family business, and while I am not satisfied, and will not personally use them again or recommend them, it bears noting because it was one of the reasons I chose them. I read a lot of reviews and compared with larger more commercial companies before choosing Home Run Moving Experts ("HRM"). Either the reviews are lies or AI generated or paid for or we got them on a bad day. Whatever the case, the 5 star experiences I read about were not at all my experience. HRM may be a moving company, but they are not experts or professional movers. They lack the basic business communication skills, efficiency, organization and overall logistical competence required to do this kind of work well. This is the company you hire for a 1-2 bedroom apartment. You do not hire this company for a 4 bedroom, 2.5 bath house. Things did start off well. "John" was prompt, polite and professional at the first meeting and walk through. He wore a shirt with the company logo. He listened to my needs (though, wrote nothing down) and told me he would get back to me with a quote. And he did. I was quoted for a 4-6 hour job with 3 movers and packing (HRM to provide packing supplies). I was very clear that I did not plan to or want to pack the kitchen, but that some things may be started or done before the movers arrived. All was agreed a full month and 10 days prior to the move day. The day before the move I reached out to John to confirm because I had not heard anything from him. I text and got no response then called later in the day and John answered. He confirmed then asked if his team could come at 9 am instead of 7 am. That was agreed. On the morning of the move he text AT 9 am to say they would arrive at 10 am. They arrived after 10 am. John and 2 relatively young men - "Freddie" and "Jose". No one was wearing a company shirt. They had a large Penske truck, boxes, tape, and tools - no mattress covers. John and I walked around the house again so that he could see what needed to be done. Everyone got to work. 5 hours later I asked John to wrap up what they were doing and head over to the new house to unload so we could try to stay within the 6 hour window. I did not know all that had not been done at that point (I tried to upload pictures here and could not. Spoiler alert: the kitchen was not fully packed.) Long story longer, I go back to the old house while my husband helps direct them at the new house. He cuts them loose at about 6:15 pm. At the same time that I am realizing all they didn't get to (kitchen cabinets and drawers, pantry, bedroom closets, laundry room). But, it gets worse. They damaged the dinette table pushing the screws in too far when they put it back together and didn't say a word (also, it did not need to be taken apart) and they took the screws to the dining room table with them (also did not have to be taken apart) and they lost the screws to the dresser mirror (these we never got back or compensated for) for one of my kids' rooms. We spent 3 days chasing John with texts and calls. He was mostly unresponsive or he was vaguely responsive. And I was livid. My husband took over communication. John finally showed up on Sunday, after no show and no call on Friday and Saturday, with the screws. He and my husband agreed that $400 for the table was fair (it was originally $800 and over a year old). John said he would talk to "his brother" and get back to us. The next day he sent $200 via Zelle and would not respond to texts or calls about the other $200. We have not heard from him since. Other fun facts: They used my tape and my boxes in addition to their own so when I had to pack what was left at the old house I had nothing to pack with. We asked them to pack the second refrigerator last so we could clean out the smaller and condense. When we were ready to do that we were told the refrigerator was already on the truck. And the payment did not go to a business or LLC. It went to a personal account. We were communicating with John, but what he was communicating to his team was obviously not the same. Overall, a super fail. I feel quite disrespected and disregarded. But, it is a good lesson. We will always go commercial for movers from now on. And I will share this experience on every platform I can find. Not that I think HRM cares at all. (I was right about this.)

From the moment they arrived, they got right to work and did not waste a single minute. I was honestly impressed by how quickly they packed/moved everything while still being careful with my furniture & boxes. What could have easily been a long, exhausting day turned into one of the smoothest moves I've ever had. They were respectful, friendly, hardworking, and worked incredibly well as a team. As a busy nurse who's juggling work, grad school, and life, I truly appreciated how seamless they made this process. Their professionalism and work ethic did not go unnoticed. If you're looking for movers who will show up, get the job done right, and exceed your expectations, ask for Omar, Eswin, and Jose. They were phenomenal, and I would absolutely use them again. Wouldn't recommend them still. Review not changed. 7/20: No reimbursement in full or any additional communication from this company and it's been almost 2 months. Avoid them at all costs! 7/14: Yes, accidents happen, we understand that and asked your company to make good on them. A $120 gesture of "goodwill" isn't reimbursement in full, it's a slap in the face that we refused. If there's truly a reimbursement in full for the brand new dresser and trench I will update this review again. If not, I'll update this with the communications from your staff.

    I won't be able to explain my full animosity and frustration with Emenac Packaging in one review…read morepost. However, my hope is that anyone who reads this review will stay far away from this company and will look elsewhere for packaging needs. You will waste an unbelievable amount of time, energy and life speaking with Harry (CEO), Mark (Sales Rep), Nathan (Sales Rep) and company. The process of fulfilling my order with this company took 5 weeks longer than it was supposed to and lost my company thousands of dollars of business in the process. We didn't have any boxes to sell our product in. In the process of fulfilling my order, I sent over 25 emails with Mark (sales rep) and he forgot who I was two times. This was after I had paid for the completion of the boxes in advanced. I had to reintroduce myself. After delaying my company 5 extra weeks, and losing my company thousands of dollars and sales, Harry (the CEO with decision-making power), told me all he could do was send an extra 100 boxes the next time I placed an order. There is not a chance I will ever work with this company again.

All the positive reviews are on the same dates. Also, the influx of positive reviews come after a bad review is left. Major red flag that I wish i would've noticed before i gave them my money. Furthermore, this company is located in Pakistan, not Irvine, CA. The address listed in there profile is to a virtual office they pay $25/month for. The lies start before you even pick up the phone to call them! Now on to my experience with Emenac. It starts off great and they're beyond accommodating BEFORE they have your money. I chose to use them because they claim to be based in the US, however, they are not. They have a business address here, but they are in Pakistan, the person you're working with is in Pakistan and the products are shipped from Pakistan. Because I didn't want to deal with importing from China, I assumed a US company would be my best bet. They claim to be in US, but are not. They claim free shipping, but you'd still be paying half what they quote you for production and importing from China. They also try to discourage you from ordering samples with ridiculous sample costs so that you end up stuck with a subpar product. I found this out after the fact. I should have done my due diligence, and i hope i can encourage someone else to do theirs. So, I agree to a price with them for custom shipping boxes, send them my artwork and then I ask them to hold off on shipping until I get my new artwork. They agreed and had no issues with this. They told me they had not started printing my boxes. Once i receive my updated artwork for the 2 boxes i already ordered and asked them for quotes on 4 additional boxes, this is where all the problems started. I'd received an email from them for 25% off boxes that i forwarded to my representative and informed her i'd like to apply this to my additional 4 boxes i want to add to my order. She came back with prices that were way higher than my first quotes. I asked her about the 25% off and she said the email should have said 2 - 25% off. 2%???? REALLY?! What am i going to do with 2%?! And even still, why are the prices HIGHER you've applied a 2% discount? She said the 25% was a marketing error, and i informed her that good customer service would be to honor that error. She refused and i moved on from that issue. So once i realized that the boxes they were going to print for me would not match my other boxes, I decided to get other products from them. I requested quotes, received there ridiculous prices, and was still going to move forward instead of requesting a refund. I requested custom rigid set up gift boxes that they claimed they could do, agreed to their gauged prices, but once they sent me pictures of samples i saw it wasn't what i requested. They tried to convince me the boxes would be nice and just fine. For $5/box, it needs to be what i want! So i follow up to see if this is something they can produce, and they tell me they can but i need to increase my minimums and now the price is $10 - $15. They literally make stuff up as they go. How can the price be $10 - 15 when you have the measurements? That's a big difference in price per box. So now i need to order $15,000 in gift boxes or you won't print them? The same box is $6/box elsewhere. So at this point, I'd had it with the ridiculous antics. It's clear they have no desire to do the right thing by their customers. I requested a refund and then they tell me they have to see how much costs were incurred from the initial boxes that i cancelled printing on. Earlier they'd told me they didn't start printing, and now all of a sudden they incurred costs. So I'm supposed to wait for them to make up some numbers so that they can keep all my money instead of refunding me??? What a joke! They don't respond to emails once they have your money. I have to call them to follow up on everything. Every time i call, the representative (now I'm working with 2 different people), are out to lunch. No matter what time of day, they're out to lunch or just back from lunch so this is their excuse for not getting back to you. Once i called the rep was out to lunch and 4 hours later the same day she's on her way to lunch...what?! Keep your lies together! Furthermore, they are very vague on the shipped and to your door date. They don't want to tell you they're in Pakistan, so they claim it gets to you in 7 - 9 days. That's actually when it's shipped from Pakistan. That's not when it will arrive to you. Also, you can't file a complaint with the BBB because they're not based in the US. Some companies want customers for a lifetime and some want to get what they can get out of you and then scam the next person/business. SAVE YOURSELF TIME, MONEY AND STRESS AND DON'T USE EMENAC! THEY ARE THE DEFINITION OF UNETHICAL.
