I was basically forced to move units after I received a four day notice of a triple rate increase at my previous facility. I immediately got online and started looking for units close to my residence that had decent reviews coming across this CubeSmart location. I genuinely expected to move in and never see an employee which has been my experience at all other facilities to date. I could not have been more surprised. When I arrived Joe C was waiting in the office with a smile. He welcomed me and helped me get checked into my unit. We walked through my individual needs and he catered my experience accordingly. Working with Joe throughout the process thus far has been an absolute delight. He is professional, kind and treats you like a guest in his home. The facility itself if beyond expectations. The price will definitely go up on you if you stay at this CubeSmart long enough. This Marietta St. location is notorious for break-in's and the elevator was not working for months before they fixed it. People leave trash around the facility and there is no one around at night to monitor the activities. When I have a problem, no one is around to assist. This whole situation is a money grab and I wish I had chose somewhere else to store. But when you're late on your payment, you definitely will get a call. I've had multiple storage units at this facility over numerous years. STAFF The staff has sometimes been helpful, sometimes not. CLEANLINESS I'm there periodically to take things out or put things in and there's frequently the scattering of dead bugs, dust, and remnants of others' moving activities but no major junk or large items where they shouldn't be. Thankfully have not found any bugs in my unit itself. In recent years, they've been better about keeping the trash area and trolley areas cleaner, however they no longer allow customers to use the large dumpster in the parking lot and do not consistently have trash cans available for use either. So good luck if you need to throw something away. Go to the bathroom before you come here. The bathroom is very rarely stocked with toilet paper, soap or paper towels. Not terribly helpful. MAINTENANCE / FACILITY The exterior of the building and parking lot are well maintained which is lovely because visiting a storage facility is already a pretty depressing experience on its own. The interior is fine. It's quite dark and light bulbs are frequently out, making it even darker. The climate control/air conditioning/moisture control is quite good. My items, including antiques and fine art, have had no issue whatsoever. NICKEL & DIME-ING I have had the price on my units raised no less than 3 times within a relatively short period of time and it's often by quite a bit. Excellent job gouging me for every dime, knowing that it is a royal pain in the butt to move from one storage unit to another. For this alone, I would never recommend CubeSmart (nor most traditional storage facilities). Make sure you grab a special when you sign up because you'll end up paying the difference back a few times over. If that wasn't enough, they also charge you $1.95 credit card fee on your payment every month. Hey guys, 2001 wants its e-comm policies back. OVERALL Your stuff will be safe but it's going to cost you a small fortune - more than you realize when you sign up. Just get rid of your stuff, if you're able to, and save yourself a lot of trouble and money. read more

Had a great experience at CubeSmart last week. I spoke to Marie at the office, she helped me again and again when I had questions, and just made it an incredibly pleasant experience. The facilities were in good repair, staff were friendly, I like it. read more

So Lonnie was a great inspiration and help in assisting me with my storage unit... he was so helpful that he even arrived to help on the day of my move even though he was off that day. I don't have any previous storage unit experience, but this place has been pretty good to me. Dollies are always available in front of the elevators and there is always music playing, which makes visiting more enjoyable. They have a moving van available under certain restrictions, which can be convenient, but Home Depot has very competitive prices for trucks as well. I feel confident that my stuff here is safe, bug free, and nicely controlled in terms of temperature. Auto-pay makes things easy and the staff here is friendly. Would recommend it. read more

Don't be sketched out by the location. I moved here from a non climate controlled public storage to this one for a hundred dollars a month cheaper. No issues. Cool and easy to get a cart to load large items. And Ashley in the office is very helpful and nice! read more

Debreena was beyond terrific. Sincerely welcoming and patient. Knowing that I was in town for a short period, she even left a post-it on the storage unit (knowing I would be coming back to fill it) with a local restaurant she recommended together with address/phone number. Really wasn't expecting that from a storage facility. Aside from great service, I thought the facility itself was very clean and well kept. So far so good! read more
