She then explained to me this happens often (wish I had known that) and that its easy to break in and she thought it was an inside job. 2 days later, after reinforcing the unit, it was broken into again. A day later - I get an email that says my unit was left unlocked and I need to come fix it - I asked and the lady goes, oh that was an accident. It made me wonder if the other property people were informed their unit was EVERY broken into. Flash forward - I've spoken to 3 different people (Shanna, Jeffrey, Misty) to get reimbursed for Sept ($133) and it was approved by District Manager Trey but now its the END of OCTObER and the money has not returned to me and my understanding is they fired the women who TRIED to help me and all their locations dont answer their phone now. Trye won't answer - I've left him multiple messages for accountability. This place is a scam and there are multiple break in. The same owner of this location owns the Westgate location too. Lauren made the entire transaction easy by handling the transfer paperwork mostly over the phone. She made available to me both units for a couple of days to give me plenty of time to transfer everything. She also made available to me temporarily an extra lock, dollies, and furniture movers so that I didn't have to buy these things myself. Lauren even arranged to give away a table and chairs that I no longer wanted! The units are very clean, the climate control is stable, lighting is good and safe, and you can even unload and load your vehicle under shelter from rain and other bad weather without ever getting your belongings wet. If you are looking for high quality and service-oriented storage in West Austin, this place is definitely worth it!

The units look to be at least 8 ft tall with concrete walls. I got a 5x5 that looks more like 4x5 but the price is good and there are no hidden fees or taxes. Unlike public storage, you don't have to buy their lock. The units are not climate controlled. Access is 7am to 8pm daily through a secured gate system that shuts after every vehicle, so tailgating is not likely. Great location on Ben white near congress. The folks are friendly.

There are elevators on site and carts to move your items in and out of the units with ease. I recommend purchasing a lock on site. It is easier with this lock than a normal padlock. There are four sizes of the rooms. The largest is a large 10x15. I find getting the largest unit was better and few dollars more for the unit value. The next is 10x10. They have two smaller units. When you select a unit, be to remember your access code. You are going to need it to where the units are and to ride the elevators. Be sure to return any cats you use, it's a good sign of proper use in a storage facility. The two top mangers Paula and Howard are super nice along with the rest of the staff. You have a three day grace period to pay your dues before a late charge is applied. To prevent late charges, they accept auto pay. The units are open 9:00am to 9:00 pm Monday -Sunday. The staff is on duty from 9am-6pm. Be sure to be out by 9:00 or you will get locked in. They also have boxes and pack stuff in the office.

There has been a known rodent problem since September that management has failed to properly address or communicate to tenants. Several of my belongings were damaged, and others exposed to mice excrement as pictured. The only response from management has been to place glue traps, which do nothing to resolve the larger issue. When I requested to move units because of the infestation, I was initially offered a new one at a higher rate, which I found shocking and poor customer service, and then moved to another unit on the same floor--only to find that one quickly infested as well. Despite acknowledging the rodent issue, management offered no meaningful assistance or compensation beyond insurance that didn't cover the extent of the damage. This experience was extremely disappointing. Avoid storing your items here, and if you are currently stored on the 3rd floor, I would strongly suggest checking your items for signs of rodents.
