99% scammers! Please don't buy a unit from here or store anything here. I would even go deeper and say there is a lot of fraud throughout the whole Austin region. I have auction photos of them moving stuff around. I bought a unit from Storage Treasures, called in on the disclaimer beforehand. "Oh, we count on you to return any guns or ammo found" Cool. They also promised me that the unit hadn't been gone through. When I won, for a good amount of money, they wanted me to consent to new rules. Search and seizure BS. It went from turning in open guns, to we had to openly open every box in front of them. Likely, they wanted to steal the guns, like they have done already. I had a very nice conservation. No cussing, no loud conversations and very respectful, but they banned me from picking up the unit I legit bought. why? Because they knew what was in it and wanted to steal it? I followed another Extra Space auction this week. They moved everything around in a lien unit. These people are likely frauds. I called them and they blocked my number, but wouldn't cancel the auction. They requested that my account be banned. Why? Because I am not going to let you steal guns? DO NOT RENT OR BUY A UNIT FROM EXTRA SPACE! Look at more fraud here, picture #1 and #5: Auction ID: 4244679 -- Storage Treasures They moved the shoes from the back, to the front. Over the summer, I was unexpectedly in between homes due to construction delays at my new place. Needing a place to store all my belongings for a couple months, I found Extra Space Storage on Boston Lane. They made the process very easy and are very responsive. I felt like they are fairly priced and were accommodating and flexible regarding my timeline that was a bit up in the air and out of my control. The elevators and carts helped with moving. It was never too crowded when I was there which made parking and moving items easier. Each time I was there (to move in and move out), the manager, James, was very friendly and helpful. He went above and beyond and had a very positive demeanor. Seemed like he genuinely cared about customer experience and making an unpleasant task of moving/storage as seamless as possible. My only negative feedback is that I never received the prorated amount back that I was supposed to since I ended up not needing the unit for as many days as I had already paid for. Other than that though, it was a positive experience, and I would highly recommend them to anyone who has storage needs! read more

However in the year and a half that I've rented from this place the cost of my unit has been raised from $104 to $109 to $116 and then to a staggering $196 this past month. I was not notified of these increases. Be very wary of their attractive intro rates as they will "reevaluate" your price based on market value every 4 months, but only if the price goes up ;) read more

I highly recommend this storage facility. It's new, always impeccably clean, and has covered parking which is crucial when you're loading/unloading in the rain (or heat). They also provide free (large and sturdy) flatbed dolly's, which is also very important and convenient. But I can not say enough good things about David. He was extremely helpful and honest when I was deciding the size of storage I needed and every time I come back he remembers my name and asks how I'm doing. Who still does that?! He's ALWAYS very friendly, and has helped me when I've done stupid things like misplace my storage key and came and found me when I left my car door open while I was organizing my unit. He's also good at helping me load items that have fallen off my cart. I see how he interacts with all of his customers and it's always with kindness and respect. He is the reason I haven't looked around for a cheaper place, even though they have some pretty good deals. You're the best, David! read more

The storage facility is clean and bright, and the unit was very easy to access, even though it was on the second floor. The movers had no trouble at all getting a couch, bed, etc., into the elevator and moving everything into the storage unit. This place is over the top accommodating. From the first call, to emails (that arrive promptly), and the friendliness along the way, I never felt lost. Alex and Slator are on site for all questions and situations; I had some glass things break out of the elevator, and Slator (with a genuine smile) said he'd take care of it...and he did before we were up there with our next load. I needed an extra unit, and Alex was calm, positive and not only found one on the same floor as my other one but had it close by. These guys were the Best part of a very stressful move. read more

Great facility, very clean. A few times I have been there, they are actually outside cleaning the windows. They clearly take pride in their facility and it shows. Manager was extremely helpful in getting the size units I needed for office storage (3 separate units). I also appreciate that they do security checks on the doors. I got a call one day saying that my unit was not secured properly and they showed my what was done wrong to avoid it in the future. It was an easy fix and it was very nice that they were looking out for me and the unit's contents. read more
