For a long time, there was no local management, just a phone number on the locked office door. I have complained to upper mgt and received no satisfaction, just continuing excuses. I should say the new manager is very nice but essentially powerless to rectify problems. Be warned - the elevators are of the same vintage - even if they show you a unit in the other building, it is sure to fail soon and you'll be stuck like me. Beyond the elevators, the place is not well kept. Carpets are filthy, the fence is collapsing, interior lights don't work all the time and the hand carts are broken. Although I've never seen vermin, there are rat traps all around. So it must be a problem for some tenants. I recently gave up and moved to another facility nearby. The final insult is an overcharge on my last bill that I now have to address. UGH.

I was paying $53 for a unit that was being offered at $38. Also no elevator! I moved 2 miles up the street. Same size unit for $27! Took me 38 trips up the stairs, there's not even a hand truck to use. Took me 1.5 hours to move out. Only took 25 minutes to move in the other unit. Signed a year lease with them! I was with this place since October 2023 snd would still be there if they didn't raise the rent while the elevator was out for over a year! Plus the heat/air is out... website says heated/cooled and elevator ALL not true... very sad to have this happen. I used to go on lunch to storage. Now I can't. But even worse was I had more stuff in my home then here and was paying for a unit I wasn't able to use. As I took stuff out I kept it in my home!!! Ugh hopefully they can fix these issues. All access is electronically controlled by PIN pads located throughout the building and each locker has a keyed padlock on it. Depending on your locker size you might get an individually monitored unit alarm, ours had it, smaller lockers might not. The entire building has tons of CCTV cameras located throughout and looks very secure against would be burglars. Cleanliness: Even the bathrooms are secured by PIN pad, if that doesn't tell you the place is kept extremely clean then I don't know what will. Everything is immaculate inside the building with the exception of some scuffs and scratches here and there from people recklessly careening through the halls with loading dollys. Price: I hear it already, I can hear the voices of people saying "that place is expensive" SHUT UP! You get what you pay for. If you want top tier storage with high security and climate control to guarantee that your sensitive vinyl record collection and high end computers stay safe during your move you're going to need a company like Safeguard. Bottom line: YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR! Don't skimp on protecting your stuff if you have high value items. If you're just storing a bunch of boxes of clothes and general housewares you probably don't need a fancy storage provider with climate controlled indoor storage and can go for an outdoor locker. All that said, for what we were storing, records and high value computing and storage arrays along with a plethora of other sensitive electronics it was well worth the extra money knowing our stuff was safely stored under climate controlled lock and key. Location: It's right off the highway which makes it easy to get to with a large truck and their loading dock can accommodate most any truck you can throw at it. Loading Dock: An enclosed loading dock is a nice plus especially when it's suddenly started raining and you want to unload your truck into storage. Unloading dollies are provided and all were in good working order when I was there. Bottom Line: If you are looking for top notch storage this is your place. If you are storing low value items that don't need climate control then you might be better served elsewhere.
