I just moved into the storage space today. Mike said it would help him with his job if I wrote a five star review. He deserves it. He is pleasant guy and seemed straightforward and not drunk or high. Very helpful and fast. Extra Space Storage was a little more costly than Public Storage, but the interface/booking was easier than Public Storage; and facilities are cleaner. This place is clean. However, I want to alert everyone to their pricing strategy. I was forced into storage by frustrating life circumstances. Then COVID-19 hit, making finding replacement housing very, very difficult. Over the last year, Extra Space Storage increased my storage charge by 20%!!! Inflation in 2020 is 1.2% per the government. Life is bad enough when you can't get housing, housing prices are skyrocketing and then the storage company decides that it's now time to gouge its customers. It's incredibly frustrating. They know that it's difficult for you to move to a new location, so they can take advantage of your challenging circumstances to exact significant extra cash from you. What are you going to do? If you can, avoid using this company at all costs. read more

They are not only very safe and have latest storage options but their staff is amazing and so knowledgeable. They really take time to explain all the details and how the process works. I spoke to Tom a few times and Sara today and they both so helpful, courteous and really help you with any questions. Even if you think a dumb one, they don't mind because they truly want to help. When you arrive for the 1st time easy to follow instructions, and when you arrive to the unit it is clean and ready for your storage. I only needed to use the storage for 2 weeks because I'm in the process of moving. It was one month free, so why not? I moved a couch in one day and two days later when I was moving in more things, all of my boxes were open and $800 of my small electronics and wires were stolen. I know someone broke in because there was a wire on top of the couch and a random mask on the floor. I should've filed a police report right then and there but I was too distraught and confused to make the decision. Went to the office on the Monday after because it was closed on Sunday. Customer service was great, but they said that there's alarms on the door that indicate when it open and closes- and apparently there was no proof that someone broke in to steal my items. I just found it super sketchy and weird because out of all of the units, why mine? Knowing that I was only renting for two weeks as well, it's just too convenient. It was my first time renting a public storage unit, so I guess I was naive to store those things in there not knowing it could easily be broken into with no video footage or data to get reimbursed with insurance. TJMaxx has better security video footage than this place. Don't store any irreplaceable or expensive stuff read more

I love how this location is clean, cost-friendly and convenient and everyone is helpful and friendly! I also love the bathroom access because I am usually traveling a long distance to get here. I have had my belongings at extra space storage for a year where it remained clean and safe with easy access. Beyond this all the employees were friendly and accommodating, even when I needed to pay late twice. Abraham, recently guided me through my move out and helped ensure that I would be refunded, after my move out date turned out to be less than a week after I paid for a full month. He checked back with me via phone and in person, making me feel like my business there and money mattered. I highly recommend this location for storage needs based on awesome staff and cleanliness. The person who handled setting up my rental contract was Jerale, and he is the nicest guy, answered all my questions, and made sure my vehicle storage needs were met in the best way possible. We moved our RV from a storage facility with valet service. It was well run and had good security but at Extra Space Storage we have better access to our RV and do not have to call ahead when we want to pick it up or return it. The storage facility is conveniently located near the 5 freeway, it is clean and well maintained. The application processing is easy and fast. It is also convenient that they set you up on the automatic payment program as soon as you sign the contract. The best part about using this facility is that Jerale is the onsite manager. Great location, extremely good follow-up on my phone call, quick email back in response to my questions. Very helpful, even reserved two possible spaces for me to look at. Gave a 4 foot oversized spot with no extra charge! Met neighbors as we were backing our trailer in and they said they were very happy after being there for almost two years. We both remarked on how efficient and friendly Jerele the manager is and how nice it is to have him in charge. Bonus is the lighting, and the live-in caretaker.
