Stored my things here for over a year due to a move and not having enough space at my new place. Staff were friendly, price was decent for the storage unit. I like how they have gate/door access through their app as it makes it convenient getting in the place. I noticed after a few months there were a lot of rodent droppings and urine stains on my stuff when I would go to pick up something. I let the front office know and they said they are aware and they could put traps in my storage unit if I wanted. I would have had dead rodents in my storage unit, didn't really want that, so I guess I need to deal with the rodents making a mess. They also raised the rent on me "just because". Had a small unit for a year.I needed more space, so I asked management.What do you have?They gave me a 10 by 10 they asked me, what are you storing?So I told them all my construction equipment. Month and a half later, all my stuff was stolen. District manager wasn't told management, reviewed the video and I was told, we suspect somebody we have a suspicion of someone. Well, suspicion is not a crime. There is no physical signs of anybody breaking in. They had a key it was a inside job no one has contacted me back waiting for the district manager to call me, but it's been 2 days nothing i'm working with the detective and this will be resolved. Day one customer service has been top notch. I stayed with this company for only half a year due to moving and can't say enough great things. The day I ended leaving I unfortunately lost my lock key and they had no problem cutting my lock for me so that I could retrieve my existing items for the clean out . John, the manager at the Walnut location is excellent. He and the rest of the crew have always been friendly & professional. I just finished moving my stuff out of Walnut. I got rid of stuff that I no longer needed, and I'm keeping the things I really want at their Norwalk location, which is closer to home. The staff there are wonderful, too--no surprise. And it'll be easier for me to go thru my mother's belongings (God bless her beautiful soul) in their temperature controlled storage facility, now that the weather is getting warmer. Beware! Your stuff will get stolen from here. They will go through your stuff and steal all your expensive and new products. Even when the lock is supposed to be new. They open the wall to access your unit. I contacted the manager and they tell you to put a claim in. Hassle to get police report and runaround. Claim will cover only minimum. I would suggest leave all your expensive stuff with a friends or family. This place is full of thieves. I spoke to the sheriff and they said this place have a lot of break in. I lost over $7000 worth of stuff. I hope who ever took it , probably inside job. Hope you're never succeed in life. Today we have been called in to be told that our unit was broken into. I can't believe the amount of time they had to not just force entry into several unit but the amount of time they had to go through each and every box. Speaking to them the have told us this has been going on for sometime and they haven't upgraded security or done anything to prevent this from happening. If I could give this location less then a one star, I would. The new manager is very unprofessional and is not good with conflict resolution. I did not have any problems until the new Mgr started working there 4 months ago. He doesn't treat the customer, like a customer. I had too, contact the Corporate office in order to resolve the issue. And he tried to interfere with that process as well.
