Unfortunately I was disappointed with my experience here. This is a small business located in Antelope right next to the post office. Plenty of parking, right off the freeway too. They have a drive through, and I used the drive through for my order. I ordered a Gyro combo - Gyro sandwich, fries and drink. It was $13.00. My order took a very long time to be ready. My food and drink were definitely not worth $13.00. The soda was small and completely flat. Not good. The fries were hard, lukewarm, and crunchy and NO SALT. They did not put salt in the bag and you wouldn't know to ask for that because fries usually come with salt. The sandwich was very unappetizing. The tzatziki sauce tasted like mayonnaise and it smothered the entire sandwich. What a mess. The meat was okay. I've had better. Overall not a great experience here so I won't be back. Maybe I didn't order the right thing because the reviews are all great. I don't like hummus and maybe that's the best thing here. The people were friendly. read more

I've had many great meals here, but just ordered the falafel bowl and was very disappointed. The rice and felafels were cold. And felafel tasted old/dense/stale. I'm hoping maybe this was just a bad day? I won't give up on them, but rice and felafel should be served hot. :( read more

So far this has been my go to Kabob place in Sacramento. I ate here at least 35-40 times and thought it was time for another great review. These guys at Extreme Hummus and Sayeed are awesome! When I come in they treat me like family and can't say that about no other business or restaurant around Sacramento. They always get my orders right and my food is done in a timely manner usually 3-7 min. Today on my way home stopped by to get a number 3 which is the Euro "Beef & Lamb meat" with Rice, Hummus, Salad & Pita. They also have a great deal of Hummus to try and I would say about 8-12 different flavors. So I went with Roasted Red Pepper Hummus. All the toppings are just insanely delicious. I enjoyed every single bite till I finished my plate and it was plenty in there. That can't be said about many foods because after a few bites it gets "so so". Also the restaurant is very clean and in a great location right off the Freeway 80 & Antelope Rd. right next to Post Office! We had the falafel wrap and a meat & lamb gyro with a side of fries. Everything was very good! Next time I would get two wraps because it was easier to eat. I loved how fresh every bite tasted. This place is way, way, over-rated! My chicken was almost as hard as wood chips. Sorry Extreme Hummus, not even all of those sauces can disguise that overcooked,dried out chicken. I wouldn't serve it to my dog.....well maybe, but he might not eat it either. Since it was so awful, I guess it didn't matter, but that was a very small portion of chicken. I guess it made the task of pulling it out of the gyro easier. It was that bad. There are way better places and what a bummer, that I chose this place as I don't get down this way too often. My friend and I were driving back to San Jose and we wanted to find somewhere to eat dinner along the way. I did a Yelp map search and added Extreme Hummus to the route due to the high stars and review count. This place was well worth the stop. It is definitely fast, and service is friendly. They even have a drive thru, although we opted to eat at the restaurant. The place itself is clean and spacious. My friend had the beef gyro wrap and I had a gyro plate, which comes with rice and hummus. There are a few hummus choices, and I went with a limited "curry hummus" -- super good! We also had a side of falafel, which was amazing and I'm super glad I decided to try it. It came with 4 falafel. Overall, this place was amazing. Wow! This Greek restaurant has been on my must try list for quite sometime. My only regret is not going sooner. It's Deeeelicious! Fresh and flavorful. The owners are sweet the staff is helpful. This was one of the worse experiences ever. I went in with a really light spirit excited to make my order. In the middle of me dealing with the lady he is telling her that he will finish me like Im some fucking to do list or something. I then told him I would really appreciate if the lady whom greeted me and started my order may finish my order. He finally folded. As well as her saying ok I will finish your order. I was thankful at that point. She then recommended me to sample the hummus at which point I asked her is there maybe a chip or a pita bread to try it with. She said no. Then yelled at her kitchen a order that I had not finished. I had a damn sample in my hand she gave me for crying out loud. Way to make me feel rushed and obligated when I have not made confirmation. On top of everything she had the audacity to say I came here for the restroom because that is what I asked if it be a problem to use if I order when I first came in which they were fine with. Idk if this person was implying I didn't have money or what but I told her "No actually I was looking for a home place to eat good Mediterranean food close to where I reside and had money, hungry and was ready to order" to which she said nada. Wonderful, welcoming, delicious family-owned business!! Our first time ordering; we placed a big take-out order and it was safely brought out to my car. The owner was just fantastic, and she gave some recommendations on what we might like trying another time too (loaded fries are very popular, and of course the MANY flavors of hummus!) Honestly she couldn't have been nicer, I felt like they cared about my order and it was a wonderful experience. She even included a complimentary baklava for the birthday girl! :) We got: chicken gyro, chicken gyro plate, 3-meat gyro, greek veg gyro, sides of tzatziki, babaganoush, falafel, dolmas. Everything was wonderful. The babaganoush was surprisingly creamy, I believe it had yogurt, and a great garlic profile. The falafel was moist inside and crispy on the outside, seemed like a nice amount of cumin in the seasoning. My chicken gyro was just delicious, it had hummus, the wonderful chicken, shredded red cabbage, tomatoes, and it was very saucy (yay). I am sorry to write such a negative review but I have to: this place provides good food and it is sad that I had to witness such unprofessional service, so I hope the owner sees this and fixes it! made a trip in 6/29/19 @ 7:30pm for pickup order and one of my orders was greek fries; the guy "with the beard" not only he had no gloves on while pouring my fries into the togo-box, but he also picked one and ate it! I was standing there!! the other guy at the cashier was less of a friendly and was like " I don't know what's in the hummus" with an attitude, when I asked about the different types of hummus and wither one has cilantro/ parsley or not. it is just sad to witness such poor service read more

This place is really good. Definitely the best Mediterranean food I've had so far in the Sacramento area. I got the falafel gyro and the falafel was piping hot and just crispy enough on the outside. I also really liked the tzatziki sauce - definitely house made and, like everything, super fresh. The Greek fries were also really good. Update: Well, a second visit was good but I do have one complaint: For the wraps, instead of the warm, chewy flatbread I've had at other places, EH uses cold, straight-from-the-package, Mexican-style tortillas. I got the dip sampler, extreme signature, tzatziki, and spicy chipotle. The dips were all good and worth 5 stars. However, the pits was worth 1. Cut my gums on a piece it was so hard. The food here is really good. I have never had an issue with any other service. I think it's pretty cool that they have a drive-through, however, given the fact that it does take a little bit of time for the food to be cooked I don't know if it really makes a ton of sense having a drive-through but I like the option. I've tried quite a few of the various hummus is that they offer and enjoy all of them. It can get a little pricey however, I think, given the quality of the food and the taste it certainly worth it. I would just say to keep in mind that it does usually take a good 10 or 15 minutes at times for the food to be prepared so keep that in mind when ordering. read more

I finally got around to trying this local spot and I wasn't disappointed. There are a bunch of different meat options for gyros and after choosing the meat you choose what kind of hummus you'd like on it. I tried their zesty chipotle flavor. I also got an order of the Greek fries. I didn't see a meal option so I got just the two separate items. The customer service is great. I had gone thru the drive thru. By the way how many Greek places can you drive thru?! Well they were about to put a cone to close the drive thru and they insisted it's okay for us to still order. Back to the food! The Greek fries were a huge portion! Definitely shareable. Nice and crisp fries with feta and a seasoning that gives it a zest. I wish I had gotten ranch or some type of sauce for dipping but even without it they were delicious. The gyro was a really good size and the lamb was tender and flavorful. I will definitely be going back for more, try it out and you won't be disappointed! read more

Yeah maybe we had an off day. But the two wraps we got (beef n lamb and 3 meat) were smaller than most soft tacos at taco bell. There was barely any meat in there. Mine had basically 1 kind of meat.
