My husband could eat pizza everyday if he could. He asked for pizza for lunch today so I stopped into Extreme Pizza to hook my husband up. Walking in, I was greeted and a beautiful smile. The lady that was working was the only person there but she handled business. There was a gentleman ahead of me. She got his ordered squared away and then got my order taken care of. We talked about the little coffee joint around the corner from her shop. I told her I was going to grabbed a drink and be right back. By the time I made it back, my husband's pizza was done. I have a habit of making sure his food looks like what I had ordered. He works on the other side of town any I don't want to drive back if it's wrong. Opening up that little box, the pizza looked fantastic! There was so much cheese on the pizza. It was pipping hot just coming out the of oven. Cheese pull was awesome! The crust was chewy and thin. The sauce had the right amount of tang to it and the cheese was nicely melted all over the pie. With all of it combined in a bite, it was the perfect sweet and savory combo. I was able to sneak a small bite and it wa so good! I also grabbed a side of homemade ranch and highly recommend dipping that slice into it. Come to find out the gal that helped me was the owner. She was so sweet and genuine! Business owners like that make me want to support them even more! I had a sausage mushroom pizza here last week. It was a good sized pizza, $20-ish and ready within 15-ish minutes of when I called in to pick it up. Overall this was a solid pizza, excellent price, eager college-student level service and served hot in a good quality box with appropriate accouterments. I will say the crust was good quality, done perfectly, on runny soggy or too thin/too thick areas. In fact the texture of the pizza overall very good, the red sauce a tiny bit bland, however, I had a cold so I'm not docking it for taste, I will order here again and there were plenty of competing pizza shops. I chose this one, and have no regrets. It's a solid four stars, potentially five because of the quality. In fact, I can't really put my finger on why not five stars.... except I would probably always get take-out or delivery here. So five stars it is. I will be back. I've ordered from this place a couple of times and I won't be ordering a third time. It's better than little Caesar's and I like little Caesar's. However for 22 large it's not a better bargain than little Caesar's. I love pizza and trusting my craving with just anybody is difficult I handed extreme pizza the ball and they fumbled. The dough is just too firm and chewy. The toppings were not plentiful. I ordered extra cheese and they just took my extra money and kept the cheese. I couldn't imagine them putting extra on there because there wasn't enough cheese for even regular cheese. I Guess I need to ask for extra extra cheese and probably have to go there and put it on myself. The sausage was not evenly distributed and basically was enough for half the pizza. The sub sandwich was very good but the pizza was room temperature and a bit cardboard'ish. I suspect if doing fine in the pizza would be much better. I ordered the endless summer calzone and it came with no cheese. Violently disappointing. Just dough and a few vegetables. I ordered through Door Dash and by the time it came it was too late to ask for it to be corrected. I probably should have at least asked for my money back but I sort of just wanted to forget the whole sad event. I can't imagine how someone could make a mistake like this, so I spent the night wondering what I did to deserve this. I ordered at 8:30 and they close at 10, so I didn't order too close to closing. Maybe it got mixed up with someone else's order, but I can't think of any earthly reason why someone who didn't want cheese would order a calzone. That's like a vegan going to an ice cream shop and ordering just a cone. It's sad and it's dry and there are a lot of good vegan options in Boise and it just doesn't make any sense. They were both so delicious but I would HIGHLY recommend the ghost wave if you want a little less meat on your pizza. It is to die for. Ordered pizza online for delivery. The wait time was 45 minutes which isn't bad. However, it was almost 45 minutes over that estimate...when it got here, 45 minutes late. The delivery guy said he was sorry but they couldn't give me the ranch I requested because they charge for ranch (I didn't see where to add that online, until I went back and dug a little deeper). This is just a personal pet peeve of mine, but if I'm paying over $60 for pizza and I ask for a handful of ranch...it seems like a very small ask. If it's really that big of an issue, just give the customer a call and ask if they'd like to add that $0.60 to the bill, rather than sending your delivery driver to apologize for manager (his words). The pizza was mediocre. It wasn't bad but I definitely would not order from here again. The wings were almost inedible. I can honestly say I've never had worse wings anywhere else....they did come with ranch though LOL! Overall, definitely would not recommend and would not order again. read more
