Inside Restaurant

The pizza was damn good and really reasonably priced. If you're visiting this is definitely a place you should come try if you love pie like I do. The workers were super friendly and fast with their service. Inside was absolutely thrilling. Beautiful little pizza pub. Could have included a little more large size ranch servings for such a ginormous pizza!

Good pizza for takeout. Guys inside were friendly and were quick to give us our pizza. They also had some buttery bread that was also good. We ordered a Caesar Salad but I didn't think that was great. They use a lot of corn meal, not my favorite. Probably will try again when we need takeout

Large 18'' Margherita Pizza With In-House Made Fresh Mozzarella

I wish I could give this place 10 stars!!! Got a Margherita pizza to go and it was absolutely spectacular. Hot, fresh, perfectly cooked, the perfect ratios of cheese and basil. Thin, no flop! WOW! So pleased to have found such a gem in Boise

Americana, a slice of NY nestled under the Boise connector. Americana, savory morsels just past the scoundrels shredding at the skate park. Americana, a refreshingly tasty pie awaits if you can hurdle the sleepy homeless surrounding the joint. If you like new York style pie then this is gunna be your joint. Great ingredients, spot on texture, and the location is very fitting for one of the best pies in boise. Yes, I do believe this is one of the best pies in town "but don't take my word for it" (Lavar Burton), get out there, support these guys and give it a shot! It won't dissapoint. High quality cheese, chewy crust and crunchy where it needs to be, natural cased pepperoni.....damn son! Americana got it going on! Eat up Boise.

The men who work there are so rude! They treat you like an idiot when you even try to order a pizza. So I walked out! Ya that bad.

The service was fast, as we didn't wait the full 45 minutes before being seated. Upon walking in you see an upscale modern atmosphere, and date night ambiance. I felt underdressed as usual in my shorts, but was welcomed nonetheless. We ordered the potato fingerlings, because when in Boise you order potatoes. However I wasn't much of a fan, tasted more like grocery store potato wedges. The other appetizer was the meatballs, which is served with a garlic bread I wish I had an entire loaf of. It was really good and though it seems small it was good enough when cut up, maybe it could've done with 1 more meatball and definitely some more bread. For dinner the kid had a half cheese half crispy pepperoni pizza, which of course he didn't like, not like the chain pizza shops he's used to but I had some and it was delicious. He did like the crust, and still ate a couple sliced. I shared a half Bronco, half Honey Badger pizza with the missus. Everything was good, but the honey badger's grilled onions overwhelmed the taste. My favorite was the Bronco which our California transplant server recommended. It had a nice spice to it that hits the back of your throat just enough to wake you up but not enough to have you reaching for a drink. I already recommended this place to friends that live in the area. That's this critic's review, until next time, I'll be eating.

Yet I wanted to experience their take on Detroit pizza one last time before they lock the doors for good. Yesterday, I called to order a Detroiter pizza, my go-to pie since they opened, for takeout. The woman who answered the phone asked to put me on hold for a "short wait." Ten minutes later I was still on hold and hung up. Today, I decided to try again. I called at around the same time, 4:30 p.m., which normally has not been a busy time there before the dinner rush starts. This time, I was told to call back. What? So I went online and ordered there for pickup. I got an email back immediately, saying my order had been submitted but that it wasn't confirmed until I got a second email with my pickup time. More than an hour later, I'm still waiting for that second email. What a horrible operation they've become. Their pizza was excellent in the beginning and I didn't mind driving across town to a convenient location near the airport to pick up one of their pizzas. But as their quality slipped, I found myself going there less and less. Today's failure will be the last time I try before they close forever. All I have is the memories from better days.

There was really no flop to it, like you would expect for a New York pizza. I added some Parmesan and chili flakes that the pizzeria gave me. On 3/12/26, I had my first bad experience in 12 years, and it was bad enough to be my last. For $37, I got slices that were barely warmed (maybe 15 seconds in the oven), and one was ripped in half when they pulled it out. They served it like that was perfectly acceptable. I should've taken the hint when I saw the help wanted sign on the door. Whatever made this place special is clearly gone. You do one thing here, pizza, and it's not that complicated. I should be able to expect quality every single time. RIP Guido's. I'll always remember what it used to be, but I won't be back.

From the moment we walked in, you could tell this was a true family-run restaurant. The atmosphere felt warm and welcoming, and our waitress was fantastic--friendly, attentive, and happy to share recommendations for places to check out around Boise. The food was so good that we completely forgot to take pictures before digging in, which honestly says everything. We started with the Caesar salad, which was solid, but the stars of the meal were the entrées. My husband ordered the shrimp Alfredo, and I had the Rosemary Chicken Formaggio. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and homemade. Somehow, it was even better the next day as leftovers. My husband's favorite part of the meal was actually the rosemary focaccia loaf they bring out with oil and vinegar. Simple, but absolutely delicious. If you're visiting Boise and looking for great Italian food, Luciano's is absolutely worth the stop. We'd happily come back the next time we're in town.
