Excellent ambience with 3 TVs playing sports: Golf, Football and basketball simultaneously! If you like a little sports bar ambience, this restaurant gives it to you. The parking is super easy and the restrooms are not only not scary but downright clean! The pizza itself is not up to par though. The dough is flat, dry, overcooked and dark with that brittle dry type of feeling. The tomato sauce overpowers the cheese a bit. I'd say, mountain mikes and Little ceasers pizza tastes a lot better. And for this mediocre taste, you pay more than mountain mikes. read more

2/18/23 Extreme Pizza, Holms St. Livermore... This review is based upon our order of the Everest pizza and Buffalo wings. Both orders were over cooked. The wings were a bit dry, roasted and not like we have had at other Extreme Pizza locations. The same applies to the Pizza. The crust was dry, some of the toppings were burned on the edges and the toppings were sparce. The best first home is when you go downtown Modesto to try it so I have all the veggies in the world, so I'd say just have it raw an dip the ranch and pour some on me. Horrible service Woman working was rude We were served stale beer and she refused to exchange while she rolled her eyes. When we told her she could just take the $11 beer, she rolled her eyes again. Pizza was delicious- recommend Kickin Chicken! Great selection of beers on tap and wine. Nice ambiance with 3 giant screen TVs with sports. Good size dining area with nice outside seating as well. Pizza was ok. Took a long time to get my pizza which was promised to us in 45 minutes but really took over an hour. Patrons came in to pick up their pizzas and they were not ready. People were there for 2 hours waiting for their pizzas that night. I would try them again but they need to up their service. read more

Really wanted to like this place. We were doubting our decision when we pulled up (on a Saturday evening) and there was only one couple eating there. Not saying you have to be super busy to be successful but in my experience, pizza spots are typically busy on Saturday nights ! The food was very lackluster And very overpriced for the quality you receive. The workers were very nice. Not very customer service oriented but they were not rude. Very clean dining areas. On the recommendation of a good friend, we placed an order for a large pizza and a calzone at 6:42. At approximately 8:05, we called the store to ask the status, since estimated delivery time was 60min. The employee was not easy to deal with. When I asked the status, she seemed like she had no idea what was going on. After some confused hesitation, she said the pizza was already out. I asked what was taking so long and her response again was, it is out for delivery and would be here soon. At that point, one would think her customer service skills would kick in but her lackadaisical attitude caused me to cancel the order. Her response was "Let me call my driver to see where he's at and I'll call you back, which at that time, I wanted to ask her if she had my number but she had already hung up on me! With my dinner guests becoming impatient, I waited and waited. I then called the store to tell them that they didn't call me back and I NEEDED to keep the order. I called and the employee ... I couldn't quite understand her name because she said it so fast, Elena, Alana, ??? She was beyond rude and the story continues ... blah, blah, blah. She canceled my order and NEVER called me back! She was very argumentative! I hope that this employee is NOT a representation of Extreme Pizza! Not ONE time did she "apologize", offer a suggestion, NO "How can I make this right?" We live near this location on Holmes so we were excited when they first opened. We tried them out with a vegetarian-based recipe and we knew not to expect very much because they had an inexperienced staff. The quality of pizza was not that great to begin with and we tried them a month or so later and the results were basically the same. But we elected to keep trying them as we knew it important to be patient with a new business especially in the food industry. We took a chance and ordered several pizzas to include vegetarian and meat pizzas for Super Bowl Sunday and were happy with the product. The crust is just the right amount of chewiness and The delivery was as promised or early. It's nice to have a good local, family run pizzeria that works hard to improve their business and meet expectations. Bravo! read more

First time here. Although food was very good, staff allowed screaming kids (3)to run around amuck while parents did not care where they were....inside and outside. On Sunday, October 1st, my daughter and I ate here for lunch. We both shared a pizza and had a side salad. The food and the service were amazing. The side salad was fresh and had a lot of items in it. The meat pizza was fabulous. The sauce was kind of sweet which we both loved. The crust had a perfect texture: not to soggy nor too crunchy. All the people at the restaurant could not have been nicer. They brought our food outside very promptly and were kind enough to raise the umbrella for us. They also offered parmesan cheese. The indoor area was very clean and appealing and the outside patio was also delightful. Highly recommend for anyone who wants good pizza and a welcoming atmosphere. read more

I don't give five stars like it is a Michelin five star restaurant. The pizza is really good and the staff is incredibly nice. The one, two, and three star reviews for a restaurant that's only been open two weeks are pretty tough. Let them settle in for at least a few months before you give them a bad review. Love the pizza!! Great service! Love the wings!! I really like the local beer. I appreciate the extra effort the younger generation is dedicating to learning. I really wish more business will hire and teach young adults to work. Not to many opportunities for inexperienced people. I meet the manager and she is a great leader. Love the pizza and unique specialty combinations however the portions are pretty small for the price.

I understand it's their Grand Opening and they're just figuring things out. First, I was (not) greeted by the young cashier. When I approached the register to pick up my call in order, he simply stared at me like a deer in the headlights. Never spoke a word. Luckily another cashier stepped up and handled the order. He was very pleasant. The pizza itself, a large Everest, looked appealing. The toppings were flavorful, the crust was hard and had no flavor. Honestly, the crust was the downfall - it was similar to frozen pizza dough in that it was there to hold the toppings in place. I ended up bypassing the crust and just eating the toppings which improved my experience. The restaurant was busy and the crew was working hard. There was a woman hovering over everyone who did not look like a fun person to work with. Overall, it's fast food pizza. It could be better. It could be a lot worse. I'll try again once the ramp up and hope for a better experience. read more

This was the best pizza I've had in Livermore. The atmosphere is fantastic and fits a large range of events. We had a few glasses of wine and a beer while we waited. This place is the perfect spot to kick back and enjoy great food, drinks and amazing service. The restaurant is very clean and they have multiple TVs to watch a game if your in the mood for that. The pizza was great, zipline knots were delicious, and they had a great beer selection. The pesto chicken sandwich was good too. It was nice to have heaters on the patio and misters for when it will be hot. They had many large tvs for the games. The staff was nice. The owners were welcoming. I love to ride my bike to enjoy the local businesses, so this is convenient. We have been there twice now. It just opened, so they are working out the kinks. The 2nd trip, service was much faster. This pizza store really gives back to the community!! Livermore opened a warm center to welcome unhoused people to get out of the rain and cold. They feed them also. I was asked by a friend to help serve and bring food for the dinner. I called up extreme pizza and asked if they would help, they said yes right away. No hesitation. Please buy your pizza there. I used to go to the extreme pizza in San Francisco and loved it so I thought I would give this place a try . The pizza is much better than the place in the city , I love it !! I'm a vegan , so I'm delighted with their options. My friend who is loves meat, loved the sausage on the pizza which is in small pieces, easy to eat and very tasty . She and I both are incredibly happy to have a pizza place that we both can go too. The pizza is reasonably priced and they have personal size pizzas also. John who works there has a great personality . We will always get our pizza at Extreme Pizza . My friend who has lived here for over 30 years said this is the best pizza in town ,also reasonably priced since we are on a budget . read more

When this place was being built and saw it was going to be a pizza place and the seating on the outside looked so nice, I told my husband we had to go check it out. Today was the night we finally said ok let's go there for dinner. We got there we ordered and asked if the heaters outside worked and the manager said yes and that he would turn them on. We went outside and were waiting for him to come to turn them on. We were the only ones out there, then a family decided they wanted to come out too. It was a nice night just cold. So, the manager comes out and totally passes my family up and goes and helps the other family. That was fine since there were other heaters there. He turned on the heater then came and asked if we wanted the heater (mind you we just paid like 5 minutes prior) and I said yes please. Well after trying to turn on 6 heaters none were working, but the one they turned on for the other family(again, we were outside first). I waited to see what they were going to do, waited about 10 minutes and then finally after having my family sit outside in the cold I went inside asked for a refund. The cooks were talking super rudely about us in spanish (I speak spanish), and the manager gave me a receipt saying voided and I asked how long does the refund take and he just smiled and shrugged his shoulders. I will NEVER go there again. That was super rude, the employees were super rude just everything since we arrived was off. The place is beautiful inside and out but with that kind of customer service it makes it very ugly and no one will want to go to a place like that. read more

We visited Extreme Pizza for the second time and again were impressed. Yes, little new business hiccups were noticed but another great experience had. The crust was super good and crisp. The beer was cold and the environment was perfect. If you're looking for an express pizza and delivery this may not be the place.
