You can't go wrong with this place. Just talk to them. If you know pizza. They'll take care of you.

Really great service and pizza tasted amazing! Staff were friendly. The only thing that was inconvenient was they don't have public restrooms.

Good little gem for pizza by the slice (and whole pizzas too)! You can choose any toppings you like and it's ready in about 7 minutes or so (we ordered 2 slices). Pretty fast and efficient, catch some sports on the tv while you wait. I love the flavors, good experience overall. The pizza slice is huge and cut in half, which is nicely crispy and thin. Good crust. So delicious! Good amount of toppings too. I'm a fan of this new york style pizza. My mushroom and pepperoni pizza was great. I also enjoyed their sausage topping too. The pepperoni pizza can vary a bit; once we got a slice that was a bit more on the burnt end, but still delicious as the pepperoni pieces became super crispy and so flavorful. Overall a cool little spot! There's a few tables outside to eat.

We ordered at the cashier and sat outside to wait for our pizza. No restrooms for customer. They don't serve alcohol. Pizza was good. But I do prefer my pizzas thicker crust.

Authentic New York flavor! If you know New York pizza, you will love this downtown neighborhood pizza shop. It's on South K Street, between 1st & 2nd. There are sidewalk tables and seating for ten. The family that owns this shop (and another location in San Ramon) came from New York City. They know New York pizza. Let me tell you about that pizza. I've tried some of their specialty pizzas, and they're all delicious. The New York Margherita is amazing. Today, I got a pepperoni slice. It reminded me of a slice I got in New York years ago. The crust is thin, tender, not floppy, and the perfect crispiness on the bottom and on the edge. The seasoning in the sauce is spot on. The cheese they use is a special brand with no preservatives. And the pepperoni is flavorful, unlike what you get at the pizza chains. The best part is the hot pepperoni oil that comes out in the cooking. When you pick up a New York slice, you know that hot pepperoni oil drips off the crust and dribbles down your hand? That oil gives the pizza such a great flavor! Oh, man, I'm making myself hungry, just remembering the experience. Enough about that pepperoni slice. They also have whole pies, in several different combinations, as well as pick your favorite toppings. Oh, they also have hand filled cannolis, the proper dessert for a pizza dinner.

One slice of cheese and pepperoni. Mmph~

Here we go again, it's already over. Finished this within 5 minutes. Ugh, soo good and consistent. 2nd time and here's a picture this time around. This is one serving of their slice cheese and pepperoni. Can't go wrong with either. Next time a whole pie. Though literally takes 10 minutes for pickup, so call in and it's done!

This is a solid pizza option in Livermore. My friend and I recently got takeout here and I found the pizza to be reasonably priced and quite delicious! The pizza quality is definitely better than Round Table or Mountain Mike's. The crust was the highlight for me - it was flavorful and satisfyingly chewy. It was easy to place an order online and the staff were friendly and efficient. There are a few tables outside, but I think this is a great takeout spot. I'll definitely be back to try more pizzas here. :)

This pizza is decent (3.5-4 stars), the equivalent of a solid imitation meat burger when you're used to eating meat. It's not real New York Pizza, but it gets pretty close with decent dough and ingredients (especially here in CA) and so it scratches an itch. However, DO NOT order the "calzone" if you're expecting a true calzone. So disappointing. For $25 we got a flat, greasy, folded over slab of dough that soaked through the box and was woefully underfilled. The texture of the calzone dough is still soft in domino's kind of way, without the crusty puff they're able to achieve in the pies. More like an Italian quesadilla. The sauce is also terrible. Thick overly spiced marinara, like Boboli. On the pizza it is passable with the other ingredients, but I can't imagine dipping anything in it. Also, just FYI, the large pie is cut into 12 slices...should always be 8. Let the customer decide if they want half slices but don't rob us of the full-slice eating experience. It detracts.

    Half pepperoni/mushroom and half olives.

We got a half pepperoni/mushroom and half olives. The pizza is really good. I love the thin crust and the bottom of the pizza is also not soggy or anything. My bf loves it and he plans on coming back. There are a few outdoor seating outside which we ate on. It was a nice day really to eat outside. Owner was very kind. I appreciate the service and the food.

The front of the pizza shop. Clean and welcoming.

What kind of meat is your pepperoni and sausage and meatball? Is it beef or pork? Would be helpful if your menu clarified that.

No pork is sold at this location...(all beef) sausage is beef and the ham is Turkey

I spent $70 plus dollars on 2 medium pizzas and when they arrived and I saw them I was not impressed. I went to pick up a piece of the meat lovers pie and everything on the crust slid right off into the box. So I wanted to still see what it tasted like so I spooned it up and tasted it only to spit it out into a napkin and went and rinsed my mouth out. So disgusting and greasy it should have been served in a bowl as soup not anything like pizza should be. We called to talk to the manager 5 times and it just so happens he was never there and never called us back to discuss the issue. So I guess ripping people off is standard for this place if you read all the reviews and if you are smart you will if you are thinking about eating there. We finally just wrote it off figuring they must really need the money to treat people so bad and serve such dog food. This is a small town pizza shop and I do not even want to address it as one but for the review I will. If you are thinking of doing business there first read the reviews and remember you will not be compensated for horrible food. I will let everyone thinking about eating at this place know not to waste your time or money and if you do you deserve what you get. To the owner , sell the place to someone who knows how to make pizza and treat's customers with respect!!! It does not even deserve a single star but they will not let you post unless you do, so let's be clear it's not worth a rating!! Dricci

I came in a Saturday afternoon and the vibes were pretty chill. Pedro ( I think that was his name?) took my order and he was super friendly and patient. The food is good, the beer selection as awesome and the atmosphere is super casual and fun. It can get a little noisy at times, but there's plenty of outdoor seating for more quiet. What I like best about it is that it really feels like you're going to a place that treats its employees and its customers like family. I'm not a big reviewer, but I felt compelled to share my last experience with Porky's. After ordering, I stopped by the ladies room before going to get a beer. One of the stalls was out of toilet paper and all I could think about was that Seinfeld episode. Wanting to help someone avoid an embarrassing situation, I went to the counter to let them know. The person I tried to tell was kind of rude and waved me off. It was really weird because every other interaction I've ever had with employees there is best described as hospitality instead of just service. I was going to shrug it off. Everyone has off nights, but it was just so out of character for this place I felt I had to say something. I submitted an online comment via their website and figured that was that. Two days later, I got a phone call from Patsy. She was appreciative that I brought it up, asked for more details and promised a follow up. A few days after that, I got a very nice handwritten card from her letting me know they had worked with the employee, who was sorry and was just having an off day. My own mother doesn't send me handwritten cards anymore. I was never going to write the place off after a single incident, but this kind of care for people means I will always keep this place in rotation when the "what do you want for dinner?" Question comes up.
