Extreme Teriyaki has become my go to when I need my fix. The food is fresh and the flavors are always spot on. Yesterday was one of those days. I wanted something good but I didn't want too many carbs. As such, Extreme Teriyaki was the place of choice. Walking in, the location was kind of full but the line was moving. I decided to get the Chicken Entreè with vegetables only and a Cheesesteak Egg Roll. I placed my order and had a seat to await my number being called. As I waited, I utilized the restroom. Though the space is big, it wasn't clean. It looked like it needed a really good scrubbing. Though the space wasn't clean, the toilet worked, the sink worked, and it was stocked with soap and paper towels. I used it quickly and got up out of there. After a few more minutes, my food was ready. As I expected, it was spot on. Fresh. Hot. Flavorful. Perfect amount of sauce. Vegetables were tender but with the perfect crunch. The Cheesesteak Egg Roll was hot and fresh as well. It had peppers in it so it put you in the mindset of a Philly. It was super crunchy which was perfect for the tender beef and gooey cheese. Fast service and great size portions at a reasonable price. Good to go option to provide a somewhat "healthier" option for fast food. Order ahead by phone available. Chicken Teriyaki is my go to with fried or steamed rice. Good crispy spring rolls. I personally would not dine in based on ambiance, but was clean with tables/chairs. read more

So this place has been here for a while ! It's been a long time since I've been over here so decided to try it out. Sooo wow. First thing I saw was the 100% health department score on the wall. If you want quick and affordable hibachi, come here. I got the chicken teriyaki bento box it comes with a salad, rice, 4 piece California rolls and edamame. It was pretty decent for quick hibachi. I wasn't a fan of the California roll but again it's quick hibachi. I asked for a "side of fried rice" and that is exactly what I received. A side of white rice that was thrown on the grill then placed in a box. When I opened the box to top it off with yum yum sauce I was so shocked! There was a misunderstanding when I said fried rice. I should've been more specific and said "vegetable fried rice". I returned to the counter and told the cashier there was a misunderstanding. She took the plate back and added a side of vegetables. That was still incorrect. I was absolutely over it. I absolutely love this spot! It is what it is: fast Asian style food. Tasty and served hot! My only complaint is that they use to swap out my rice for cabbage (due to my Type 2 diabetes). Now they charge me extra when I ask for cabbage in place of rice. Other than that, I will recommend this place to everyone. The tofu is fresh and good for those wishing for a meatless option. I've been a regular here for almost two years now. Not only is the food great (try the chicken and shrimp teriyaki) but the service is amazing as well. One of my first visits to the restaurant one of the people working there offered me a free cup of water to drink as I waited for my food and another time a different person offered me one as I ate! This is one of cascade's most slept on gems and although I'd be glad to see them more recognized, I really appreciate the nice, home-like atmosphere that exists here. TLDR: Great food, great people, try the chicken / chicken and shrimp teriyaki. Yum yum sauce makes it to die for (unless you're not into mayo based sauces). Would not recommend. The lady at the register was extremely rude and rolled her eyes at me when I tried to explain what my call in order was. When I got home to eat my food, I was impressed. Food wasn't fresh - the salad was old and withered. This place's portions are misleading, they fill your plate with rice, (white rice doesn't cost that much) and give very little of the main course--chicken, shrimp, salmon or beef. Things on the menu were not available, like wasabi sauce a staple with sushi which is reflected in the price they charge but, instead they have a wasabi dressing which is just mayo based. I am sure this is not the case at other "prime" locations throughout the city. (Maybe that is where they sent the fresh lettuce, the brown rice, the wasabi and the seaweed salad -- all on the menu but not available). Any decent place serving teriyaki would have these items as staples, especially since its on the menu and included in the price. Sooo went to this spot on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty empty. We proceed to the register and were greeted by a nice lady. I ordered the chicken teriyaki with extra veggies as I'm not eating .... The chicken was seasoned very well and the veggies were on point. It was yummers. They cooked the veggies down so they were not crunchy , which I enjoyed. Boo had the chicken and shrimp teriyaki with rice and he said it was good. I ordered a Sprite and it was super flat. I went back up to get a bottled water and she said oops the machine was not plugged in. Really lady lol get that together...With all that being said I will definitely be back. My experience here was terrible. When I walked in they were extremely rude to me and seemed annoyed when I had questions about the food and I had never even been there before. This place is ALWAYS good! Consistently! Great prices, fast service and delicious food. I like the hibachi style food. One of the ONLY options for semi healthy fast ish food in the area. They have Yum Yum Sauce!!! I usually get the entree with teriyaki sauce on the meat because the hibachi style option does not have sauce. The veggies are cooked well and the food is flavorful. It takes about 15 mins for your food to be prepared. It is imna shopping plaza with a grocery store and a few other things in case you need to run errands while you wait.
