I have been coming here for the past two years after a friend introduced this amazing shop to me. The staff here (Hailey, Gemma, and Michael) are absolutely amazing and super attentive! If you're like me and is super indecisive or unsure of what would look good, the team here are super helpful and knowledgable that they are able to guide you in the right direction. I live in San Francisco now but when I'm in town for the holidays, I always stop by to get my glasses here. They also are able to ship so I didn't have to go back down to pick me glasses up, so that was incredibly helpful! Well, this was a phenomenal experience. I have never bought custom or high-end/designer sunglasses before but I decided now was the time. I searched on Yelp for highly rated glasses shops in my area and Eye Holics popped up. I liked the name, so I decided to give them a go. I DID NOT REGRET THIS! From the moment I stepped inside the shop, I was met with friendly faces and intimate customer service. I didn't have any idea of what kind of sunglasses would look best with my face shape, so Hailey gave me recommendations and one-by-one we tried on different sunglasses until I found the perfect pair. Then, I wanted polarized lenses for increased ocular protection, so we continued this custom-crafted experience. There was NO PRESSURE to buy something that I didn't absolutely want and love and NO SHAME for taking my sweet time and trying on sunglasses/lenses to my hearts content. After I ordered my custom glasses, there was a logistical error (no fault of their own) but I was met with the kindest response and they took care to ensure that, one way or another, I ended up with the sunglasses of my dreams. This place was amazing. Honestly, I don't remember the last time I had such a good shopping experience like I did here. I went on Saturday afternoon and there were a ton of people browsing for sunglasses and glasses. Despite having so many customers, all of the staff was super friendly and helpful and did their best to help me and everyone else that came in. I'm really indecisive and I'm pretty sure I'm an annoying shopper because I don't really know what I want.. but they probably brought me over 30 pairs of sunglasses to try on (very patiently at that) & helped me choose the perfect pair. The owners gave me advice on which styles/colors looked best on me and honestly, I didn't realize choosing a pair of sunglasses was such an art. (Thank you.. I really appreciated it). After choosing the pair I wanted, they adjusted them for me so that they fit perfectly and told me I could always come back for adjustments and cleaning. Other than how impressed I was with all of the staff, a few things worth mentioning.. #1. Their selection is curated very well and you're not going to find these Korean brands anywhere else. #2. Love how all the staff is wearing masks and makes sure that they keep social distancing. There is a minimum of 4 people capacity. I got glasses this time around and sunglasses a few months ago. They have really gold customer service here. I ordered my glass, then forgot to ask them to put a blue light filter in my lens. I called they they said they already cut the lens so they couldnt. I explained that I was a teacher and staring st the screen all day, and the man on the phone said that he would recut my lens with the blue light filter. He didnt charge me anything extra either. I regret not asking him his name but all the staff is super nice. They also know how to pick glasses that fit your face well. . I am very grateful for their service! Walked in to buy glasses frames, walked out with glasses frames and sunglasses. I really recommend this place so far, and I think found my go-to place for CURRENT trendy frames. I frequent Korea, and noticed that many glasses stores in America are not up to date with recent trends-- this is not the case for Eye Holics! Their selection of frames are very up to date with fashion. If you already know that you want glasses that are trending in Korea, this is the place to go. They have many cute designs for both glasses and sunglasses. Aside from the product, they definitely know how to run a business. All the workers were extremely courteous, helpful, and patient. One of the workers named Hailey assisted me the entire time I was there, and she was incredible during my visit. I could definitely see myself being friends with her-- it felt very easy to ask for her honest opinion and feedback on the frames I tried on. She was very patient with me wanting to try on so many frames, and I never felt hesitant to ask questions from beginning to end. I still need to get my glasses frames adjusted to my face once I put in my prescription glass lenses in the frames. They mentioned that they can adjust my other frames I have laying around at home. I heard about Eye Holics from one of the Youtube vloggers that I follow. They frequent this place and always talk very highly of this shop - from the selection of sunglasses and eyeglasses, to the staff. I had been rocking the same eyeglasses for a few years and was in search for a new pair. I had put off finding a new pair for awhile just because, no matter where I went, I could never find glasses that I was in love with, and I didn't want to just settle with a pair of glasses. So, one day, a girlfriend and I decided to check this place out. I figured, if they have a good selection, I was bound to find a pair I liked. Eye Holics is in a small plaza and while they have their own parking lot, they share it with other businesses so I can see why parking COULD be difficult. But we easily found street parking and just walked to the shop. When I first walked-in, I was excited because they definitely have a great selection of eyeglasses and sunglasses. There is a very good chance that you will walk out of this shop having bought a pair of glasses. The shop is very clean and the staff is great. They are very friendly and attentive. They are readily available for any questions, but aren't pushy at all. They encourage you to try on different frames and they give honest opinions about your selections - whether the frames fit your face and/or what suits your face shape. While browsing, they also offered to clean my sunglasses - which at first I felt awkward about since they weren't from the shop :P I ended up buying the Gentle Monster Mad Crush sunglasses and a pair of Stephane Christian eyeglasses. Go figure, I went from never finding glasses that I was in love with, to buying two in one day. I recently returned and bought a pair of Renoma eyeglasses. The process is so easy, as well. I came in with my prescription from my eye doctor and they handled everything. Hailey discussed the options for my lenses. She was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. She made me feel very comfortable and made sure I was getting what I wanted - and not something I was pressured into. They told me they would call me when my glasses were ready and both times, they called me in just a couple days saying my glasses were ready to be picked up. When I went to pick up my glasses, I saw Hailey and she remembered me right away, which I always appreciate because it makes you feel more than just "another customer". I'm glad I decided to check this place out. I am more than happy with the experience I had and even recommended this place to two of my best friends since they were in need of new eyeglasses. I desperately needed new glasses when the pandemic hit, and was excited to go into Eye Holics when they reopened. They limit the store to 4 people max and you can make an appointment by texting them. Once inside, you can try on whatever frames you want at a designated area, and leave the frames on the counter to be disinfected. If you want to see the frames without your face mask on, you can go to a secluded corner 6 feet away from others and try on the glasses in front of a mirror. Since I am so blind, I usually pick out frames with at least one friend. Due to the capacity restriction, I decided to come inside alone (but you can bring a guest if the store is not at capacity). Gemma and Michael were so helpful! Gemma is very supportive and helped pick out some glasses for me based on the criteria I was looking for. Michael was able to objectively tell me if the frames suited my face or not (based on pupillary distance but also if they just looked good or bad with my face lol). This was so helpful since my eyesight is so blurry so I could not see myself. Afterwards, Michael walked me through different price options for different frames and lenses, and helped explain the aesthetic implication of my choices (Ex: "if you choose these lens, your eyes will appear smaller.") Eye Holics is out of network for my insurance, so Gemma helped me with the paperwork I needed to file my claim, and even offered to fax over everything to my insurance company. After about 1-2 weeks, my glasses were ready for pick up. I have a very asymmetrical face so I am VERY particular with who I go to (I have mainly seen the same optometrist since childhood as it is rare for me to find other optometrists who can adjust glasses to my face). I have previously had amazing experience with Michael (I brought in Warby Parker frames that were dented, and Michael was the only one that could fit them to my face) so I knew I could trust Eye Holics with fitting my glasses. I have been wearing eye glasses for most of my life. I recently have been struggling with getting the proper prescription for my progressive lenses. My optometrist told me it was as close as he could get to correct my near and far sighted vision. I also grew dissatisfied with the fit of my frames. Even when they started offering low profile/alternative fit/Asian fit frames, they never fit properly. I resorted to buying stick on nose pads and rubber arm grips to help hold them in place. Tired of all of this, I sought out a Korean optical shop in the hopes of finding the right fit for my face. Eye Holics works with an optometrist off-site but nearby. He was great, and noticed something in my crystal lens my regular doctor never mentioned. He instructed me on how to best protect my eyes going forward. My experience at Eye Holics with Gemma was wonderful off the bat. Prompt responses via text, friendly, patient, and knowledgeable service throughout my visit. I tried on many many frames, but never felt pressured to settle for mediocre. I finally decided on a beautiful pair of Tom Ford frames; a splurge for me, but this is something I wear on my face everyday! I learned things from Gemma that I've never heard or thought about before. She gave me one on one attention the entire time, and there was absolutely no up sell attempts, which I've experienced elsewhere. Michael helped me when I returned to pick up my glasses. Again, I learned so much about the fit, angle of lights, where my eyes were used to looking based on the fit of my previous frames, I could go on. They also drilled holes in my old plastic frames and installed nose pads which lifted the frames completely off my face. He took both pairs and meticulously fitted each pair to my face, down to adjusting for one of my ears being slightly higher than the other! Michael customized the curvature of the new lenses to be similar to that of my old glasses so it would be an easier adjustment for me. The prescription is bang on and they are just perfect. Had such a wonderful experience here. I've been wanting to come here for years after hearing about it from YouTube (Weylie) since it's hard to find sunglasses that are suited to Asian faces. I wanted to try on cat-eye shapes from Gentle Monster, and Kuhn began suggesting sunglasses to try. I tried on a couple and were finding them a bit trendy/not suited for me, and Kuhn noted that a lot of people come in for Gentle Monster, not realizing that they carry a lot more well-known brands in Korea and end up walking out with a different brand than GM. He began suggesting sunglasses from Spring Strings, ones that I wouldn't pick out for myself normally, but once I tried them on I was pleasantly surprised. I got a pair that was already polarized and my sister got a pair with custom polarized lenses (ETA 3 hours to make). Since my pair's lenses were already ready, Kuhn adjusted it to fit my face and I wore it out. Kuhn has great taste and was so helpful. I cannot recommend this business enough. First off convenient mid-city location. They actually have a parking lot which almost no businesses do in that area. Super convenient. A screw had broken on my Gucci Frames and the ear piece was about to fall off. They immediately recognized it needed some extra special care. They said it might take 30 minutes but was done in 15. They fixed it extremely well. They did not just try and tighten it but they actually replaced the screw. Because they feature top brands I felt comfortable bringing my Gucci to them. I offered to pay but they refused. They say they always perform this service for past or new customers. I need a spare pair and I will definitely be going to them for that. Hands down BEST place to shop for prescription sunnies or eyeglasses!! We first arrived right as they were closing (I know, terrible of us) but rather shooing us away, Gemma and Kuhn greeted us with big smiles and explained that we would need a few hours to decide what kind of frames we would like, get our prescription from our Optometrist etc. They even allowed us to check out some frames and gave us some opinions on what might look nice one us and to come back tomorrow. The next day (our last day in LA) we returned with our luggage (LOL) and it was so cute that they remembered us and immediately got down to business to help us pick out our frames. Kuhn (the eye tech) did a phenomenal job in explaining to us which frames, brand, lens thickness he would recommend based on our prescription and face shape. I love that they really took the time to help us during our selection process and was very honest when the frames didn't compliment our face shape. Since we don't live in LA (we are from the Bay Area), Kuhn took his time to accurately adjust our frames ahead of time and said he can ship it to us (how awesome is that?!) We came to check out this place after being referred by a friend and we couldn't have been more happy. This place has all the latest styles of eyewear and a large selection of brands and styles you may have never heard of... including Korean brands that are difficult to find in the states. The staff is amazingly professional, friendly, and helpful. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a smile and they offer to clean your glasses with their ultrasonic cleaner while you take a look around or are waiting to be helped. The parking lot is small with tight spots and sometimes have to go through a valet attendant to park there, but there are metered parking spots along the street, as well. Kuhn, one of the employees there, has been so helpful and has a really good eye on what styles would look best on you depending on your face shape. He listened to the type/style of glasses we were looking for and did his best to accommodate it. He even gave us some styles to try that were outside of our comfort zone, but still made sure they looked good on us. They also gave us their honest opinion on how they looked on us and did not try to push us to buy every single pair we tried on. Once you try on glasses, you are asked to leave them on the glass counter tops so that they can wipe them down before putting them back up on display to ensure they are clean for the next customers. After spending some time looking around, we ended up getting a pair of glasses and two pairs of sunglasses. Depending on which glasses you are getting, if you are having your prescription added, etc, your glasses may be done that day or within the next few days. Eye Holics does not have an optometrist on site, but you can bring a valid prescription for them to use when making your glasses. They also do not take insurance. However, if applicable, they will provide you with a form to submit to your insurance in order to get some money back. Everyone at Eye Holics was extremely helpful and patient. We have visited a few times already and each time they have remembered us and treated us like family. They have gone above and beyond to meet and exceed our expectations. They are truly professionals and have pride in both their work and products. When getting our glasses, they made sure that the glasses met their standards of perfection and didn't rush on anything. They didn't even want to give us the glasses if they found a tiny, almost impossible to see, scratch. We feel that other places would have let these minor imperfections go, but not Eye Holics. We would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for glasses or sunglasses. You won't regret checking them out. Just know, it can get a bit expensive, so be ready for that. My first time ordering prescription lenses not from my health provider and the process was quick and easy! Parking may be a little hard to find since it's in a tiny plaza and on a busy street. They have a lot of glasses and sunglasses for Asian faces and I was so glad I was able to find a pair that fit me! All the staff was very friendly and super helpful! I told them what shape I preferred and didn't like and I actually had my eyes on a couple pairs. My pair was a little pricey because my prescription is so strong but it's worth it! It's on the pricier side but I feel like the quality of the sense makes the difference! I will definitely be back to check out some sunglasses! First and foremost, I want to take a moment to highlight Hailey who has helped me throughout the entire process. Hailey - I loved your honesty, transparency, and guidance throughout the entire process. It truly made the drive from OC worth the LA traffic. Eye Holics is an optical boutique; they do NOT accept insurance. They do carry luxury brands, some Western, but if I remember correctly, their shop carries mainly Korean brands (both mid-to-high end). I exclusively visit optical boutiques that carry Korean brands because they specialize in my type of face shape (usually more common in Asians + those lacking a more prominent nose bridge). Eye Holics is partnered with an overseas team that provides some of the newest technology in lenses - this is important because insurance companies gate new technology in the US and are usually not available at your average optometrist. EH's blue light lenses TRULY block a high percentage of blue light unlike all variations of Crizal lenses. In my particular visit, I brought 3 old personal frames to replace the lenses with my new prescription + upgrade blue light blocking. In addition, I bought a pair of sunglasses and another pair of frames! I believe EH is able to complete your purchase for you in the same day if they carry your prescription. I have some terrible eyes, so I had to wait a few days. :) The only downside to this place is their parking. You can choose to Valet for less than $5 or self-parking in TINY TINY TINY spaces. Absolutely in love with Eyeholics! I've had Eyeholics on my radar for a couple of years, and I finally, FINALLY had the chance to check them out on my most recent trip to Los Angeles. Eyeholics carries both luxury designer glasses as well as the latest glasses from Korean designers. I was really interested in seeing their selection of Korean brands as many European/American-based brands tend to slide down my face after a few minutes of wear. #AsianFaceProbs I was really impressed with their customer service - upon walking in, they asked all of us if we had any existing glasses we needed cleaned while waiting (HOW NICE!). They were super patient as I tried on about a dozen different frames and were helpful when it came time for me to make the decision. I also appreciated that they make adjustments to your glasses, so that they perfectly fit. I wore my new sunnies all day long - lo and behold, no sliding down my face! I kept hearing about this place from various LA Youtubers (thanks Weylie/Jenn Im/Sophia if you're reading) so had to check it out. This location is basically the only place on the west coast you can see a huge variety of Korean brand sunglasses and glasses. I've had my heart set on a pair of Korean brand sunglasses forever, but never got the chance to try them on for myself. It's hard to commit to a $200 pair online. I finally got to experience what it's like to wear glasses that are meant for an Asian face and yeah it makes a difference! Eye Holics is a great place to see what works for you. The people there are super nice and let you try on as many as you want. They just ask that you place them on a table so that they can clean them and put them back in order. I got some good feedback on what glasses work best for my face shape and left with a beautiful and classic, but also unique pair from copenax. Be aware that you can't really haggle here, especially for the Korean brands. Prices are regulated by the brand themselves for Gentle Monster and Stephane Christian so there's not much they can do there. I got there on Thursday around 4.30pm for choosing my glasses frame and there suggested me to try many of glasses frames for match with my face shape. After seeing this place on many vlogs from Weylie, I was ecstatic to check this place out. Before coming in I was really hoping to buy Stephane Christian's Andante glasses but when i got there they ran out of the color that i wanted so i was not able to get anything. One of the workers also gave me a lot of options to try one. The workers were incredibly nice and patient. I told one of the workers abt my Michael Kors sunglasses and how it was uncomfortable for me and she offered to fix it for me for free even though i did not purchase it there. Every time my wife and I are in LA we have to stop by. Their selections are premium brands and their customer service is top notch. So far my wife and I combined own 5 pairs of sunglasses and 2 pairs of normal glasses. I even got my mother in law and sister in law to purchase their sunglasses from them. I am fairly new to wearing glasses, and it usually takes me FOREVER to find a pair that I like (usually at my optometrists office). But when I found out my insurance wasn't going to cover material cost this year I took the opportunity to check out Eye Holics. I had heard a lot of good things about them, and wanted to see what the hubub was about. I kid you not, the process took me less than 20 minutes. I came in on a Saturday night extremely close to closing time. Instantly I was greeted by extremely friendly workers and within a minute of walking in was already trying out frames. What I love even more about this place is that since it's in K Town they have Korean brands that don't slide down my nose :') They had a very trendy selection, if I hadn't came in with an idea of what I wanted already I know it would have taken me longer to decide. I found the pair I liked and was expecting to wait a good week before I could pick them up (mind you I live in Riverside, so that drive back would've been a b*tch). BUT luckily since I had a minor prescription they were able to prepare them for me to take home that night. While I was waiting the girl helping me (I wish I remembered her name D:) even adjusted and cleaned the pair of glasses I walked in with. I'm pretty happy I decided to come in, I have found my new go to place for glasses. Will definitely be back to check out their sunglass collection :) read more

I discovered this location through YouTubers named Weylie and Wah. They, as well as other reviews here, have raved about the customer service and unique selection of glasses. So, I made sure to come here when I visited LA. I definitely was not disappointed -- during my visit, I was helped by one of the employees (Kuhn) the whole time. The staff was really, really patient with me and made it very easy for me to tell them about my opinion honestly. I ended up getting a pair of glasses that I never would've imagined on myself, which is a pleasant surprise! :) What's also nice about this store is that if you aren't an L.A. resident, they can ship the glasses to you after taking your measurements (and your prescription through an optometrist a few blocks away, if necessary. They pay for the $40 fee for you!), so you won't have to go through the hassle of returning just to pick up your glasses. Overall, really pleased! I specifically sought out this store because they carry the Korean brand Gentle Monster. The staff is extremely helpful, and they truly care about what the wants/needs of the customer/client.
