Dr. Laura and staff are very friendly and efficient and helpful. The office looks more of a spa than your typical optometry office which makes it very homey, almost serene. The office is cute and cozy and her and her office staffs attention to detail was great. The exam itself was awesome due to the fact that she has all the advanced technology. EyeConn is co-located with a Pearle store. While EyeConn accepted my insurance, Pearle did not. I wasn't notified of this until after I paid for the eye exam. This doesn't make any sense. I had the receptionist verify my insurance when I called to make the appointment, but she only verified it for EyeConn, not for Pearle. Now I have to either pay Pearle out of pocket or go somewhere else. I will not return to EyeConn. read more

I took my mother to see Dr.Laura Ha a few weeks ago, and we were very happy with her service and the caring of the whole office.I was so impress that I have made an apt. for myself to see her. I told Dr. Ha that my left eye always feel like something is scratching it, and after the exam she saw what is going on,and gave me the right diagnosed. I was using waterproof eyeliner and a harsh eye makeup remover for so long and didn't know it was not good & hurting my eyes at the same time ,she explained to me about how infection can get in the eyes and for me to get more natural base eye makeup and prescribed me some eye drop and just a few days from using it, I don't feel the scratchy in my left eye anymore. I highly recommend Dr.Ha & Eyecon optometry for all the eye exam. I also bought my reading glass there,I've purchased a Toms eyewear, with funding to restore a sight to an individual who in need :) read more

Dr. Ha is nice and so as her staff there at EyeCon. They offer an array of eyewear options with varying prices and styles, and the place itself is quite decent and clean although they've got uneven linoleum flooring. Everything that you would expect in an optometry center are presentably there. But after having been examined by a half-dozen eye doctors and after having purchased a dozen pairs of glasses, I, myself could attest that this establishment have just a bit steeper prices than others ...I would suggest just getting your eye examined at Valley Optometry in Chatsworth and then bring the prescription to Serge at Optical Time in Tarzana coz they've got 3x the selection there for about 2/3 the price ...as for me, I might just come back here because of the convenience factor (I won't have to drive around the valley!), which is a plus for EyeCon. read more

I normally dread Any health appointments because there's always little to gain for me. I usually walk into an optometry, get 5 mins with the doctor, one set of trails and I'm back there again and again and again bc they don't fit, my eyes are dry or the contacts are super shifty and nearly cause me a heart attack while on the road. Went to see dr Ha and she was super supportive. She recommended dailies and let me try the monthly contacts as well. Loving the dailies though! Tip: Kill 3 birds with one stone. Dr. Ha and her staff are absolutely fabulous! I found Dr. Ha when I decided I wanted to try Ortho-K treatment. I consulted with 2 places and opted going with Dr. Ha, at the time my decision was based on how well she treated me as just a potential client. Let me tell you, as a patient of hers now for over 4 months, she has gone above and beyond to take care of me. Though Ortho-K ended up not being suitable for me, she was always there to answer all my questions via email and I was always welcomed to come in and see her on countless appointments. I am now making the switch to daily contacts -- Dr. Ha and her staff have made the transition smooth and comforting. POOR..POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE last year my daughter gifted me the cost of new glasses, she had a coupon form EyeCon Optometry. Well even with the saving of the coupon. I found the frame selection limited and locked behind glass cabinet. I am used to LensCrafters, where you can try as many frames as i wanted. and the total cost from EyeCon was much higher then LansCrafters, even after using the coupon. EyeCon has been sending my e-mail to visit them and to get new glasses. But I was busy to go. Two nights ago, the left lense came of the frame. This morning I went to EyeCon to have the reinstall the lense and check on the price of new lens to goon the same frame and the price for preconception sun glasses. When i got to the store, I told the man behind the counter that i need them to reinstall the lens, he talekd to one of the people behind the counter then he told me that it well cost me TEN DOLLARS. I asked why, he said "It will take long time to install it". I told hm it will take less than a minute to put it back in place, and they should do it for free like LenseCrafters. He said it will cost ten dollars, of course I did not ask about the new glasses. I told him he lost a customer, he did not care. While in the store, I pooped the lins back in place in less than 5 seconds! no tools required. EyeCon is a small pup and Mom store, that they dont value costumer service and repeat business. When I first walked into Eyecon, I was immediately amazed by the detail and care that went into the decor and design of the office. It had a modern feel with artwork, two-toned painted walls and nice light fixtures, but also was homey with clean wooden floors and cabinets, plants and comfortable seats. I decided that if this doctor had put in this much attention to the detail and care of her office, then she must also be giving a great amount of care and detail when seeing and examining her patients. The doctor herself was very kind and professional in manner. She had a good variety of frames; was particularly impressed with her line of kids frames. She even had kid sunglasses and tiny frames for babies, which I dont see often! I think this doctor is part of a program in which she sees babies between the ages 6-12 months at no charge- which is really cool. Very, very impressed with this office. read more

I have to be honest and say I had a wonderful beginning with this office. The staff was attentive and the office hours worked. Now however I change my opinion due to the lack of customer service and patient satisfaction. I needed contact lenses and called the office on a Tuesday before the closing time that is clearly indicated on their voicemail. No one answered. I left a message. I called again on a Wednesday because according to their outgoing answering service / recording their office hours clearly say "Monday- Friday 9am- 6pm" When I called again on Wed. And allow me to repeat I called Wed. They didn't have the decency to return my call all they said With an insensitive tone "I do apologize for that we have to change that" Really? Very disappointing. I proceeded to tell her that I needed my prescription for contacts because I desperately needed them for today as I was at the airport flying out. Denise obviously did not listen which shows how attentive and insensitive they are) says would you like to come in today to have a prescription and free trial contact lenses. Looks like your insurance allows"! Ummmm I just informed you I was at an airport. I proceeded to inform her that I will go elsewhere for better care and all she could say was the repeated cliche " we do apologize for that"....... you want good service and a dependable office that will answer your calls and fulfill your needs accordingly seek elsewhere. This place is fantastic! They treat every patient has an individual and really do give you the best care. Dr. Ha sits down with you and patiently listens to all of your concerns. Finding frames is a real tasks for me. I can't ever find one that fits well but they pooled a ton of options that would fit my face perfectly.
