Knocked down a few stars due to a RUDE employee. I regret not asking for his name. I went in about two weeks ago. I showed up with my husband around 4:20pm and I didn't know they closed at 5pm on Saturdays. Normally I make appointments because I need a check up, but I just wanted a new pair of frames. I understand that it's frustrating when ppl show up last minute, but they had 40 min. to attend us. I wasn't going in for anything that took any longer than 20min. I was greeted but a tall petite man. He looked young... Major attitude and sass! He gave me the heads up that they were closing. I respect that, I rushed to grab some frames and so did my husband. We just wanted to grab a new pair of frames with our old prescription. As the guy filled out the paper work, the annoying attitude continued, eye rolling, breathing heavily from frustration. I should've just left but I was in need of a new pair. We have been loyal customers for a whileincluding my 3 kids. After this experience with the young man, I will no longer return here. I'm surprised no one noticed how much of a jerk he was being. I really didn't want to write this review because everyone else has been so kind- But it's not the first incident that happened to us with an attitude problem. There's an older Hispanic man that is a such a pain in the behind... if we need adjustments to new frames he makes it obvious on how annoyed he is to do his job. We pay for this to be done and out of pocket, I don't pay the staff to treat us like dirt. Even after that, we still went back many times. The customer is always first and should ALWAYS be treated with respect. We are very nice people as it is and didn't ask for any of this. That is NOT ok, very unprofessional!! read more

From the minute I called Eye-Con I had a great experience. Guilmer was able to schedule me the same day I called in, and was more than accommodating upon arrival. I have eyes worst than most and have had some trouble finding affordable eye care. Everyone here seemed to understand that and worked with me to make sure I got the most affordable and highest quality care available to me. They even had great suggestions on which frames would work best with my type of lenses and face shape. I will never go anywhere else again- I had great service, received a wealth of knowledge, and paid as little as necessary. Not much else you can ask for! read more

Eyecon's staff and doctor create a comforting environment to go for a check up. All the staff if very kinda and friendly towards there clients. While I was there I felt at home and appreciated the staff working with me to get a pair of glasses I loved and could afford. Raul was very kind and showed me eye glasses price while not pressuring me to buy more expensive lenses. Dr. Ha was kind and friendly and answered all questions I had in an easy to understand way. She is extremely thorough in her examination and takes the time necessary to make sure that you understand all of the results and how they might affect your eyesight in the future. I love the selection of designer glasses! The staff are all very friendly as well. I am anxious to get my two pairs of glasses that I purchased ASAP! I was told it would take 7-14 business days. I was also told if i paid $30 extra for each pair they can "try" to get it expedited. That's a hefty price for no guarantee. I need to know they will get them before 14 days so since they couldn't guarantee it i will just have to cross my fingers they arrive within 7-14 days. :) read more

I would call myself your typical guy in regards to not going to a doctor. So what if my leg's falling off? I've got a dinosaur band-aid and superglue! Anyways, I found EyeCon and Dr. Ha via a quick local search. They have a higher review than Costco and Lenscrafters. Also, they are only 1.1 mile from me. I made the call to schedule an appointment and I was greeting with a very kind person and they answered any and all questions I had. I was sent a text with a reminder of my scheduled appointment which is nice since I tend to get days mixed up from time-to-time. I walked in and was greeted by a clean, nice smelling, comfortable atmosphere with a nice array of frames set among the waiting area and the the fitting area. They have a station for you to plug in your phone in case you need a quick charge. The wait after I filled out my info sheet was a matter of minutes. The young lady at the front desk took me to the exam room and explained everything she was going to do. I felt very comfortable and actually had fun and enjoyed my time being there. They do offer something which I was VERY happy they had! It's a camera that can check your eyes without the use of dilating your pupils. It cost 30.00 but if you were in my position and didn't have a ride, it was VERY nice to have that option. I was then brought out to the exam room to wait for Dr. Ha. I waited all of 3-4 minutes and the lovely Dr. Ha came out and introduced herself. She took me back to her exam room and went over what she was going to do and all of 10-15 minutes she was done. Very friendly and Within 2-3 minutes after seeing Dr. Ha, I was then shown the array of frames, options and tried on a few pairs of glasses. I found what I wanted and was then on my way. Overall, I literally can't think of negative thing to say about this place. I can't really critique in any way possible since I enjoyed my exam and was very pleased with everyone and their customer service and friendly environment. read more

I started going here about two years ago maybe three referred both of my sisters including their family. That is eight people, three times in the past year and a half I have tried to make appointments for my daughter and myself for our check up. Every time I have called I've been on hold or maybe not even on hold just with the receptionist looking for an appointment on the other line having me listen to silence for four minutes every time I say that day or time does not work it's just quiet and another four minutes for her to give me another option. I finally went elsewhere for my exam and took my daughter the only reason I'm giving them two stars is because they have very cute glasses. So I called today to make an appointment to choose glasses at their location once again I'm on hold with a girl on the phone silence no conversation, no music, nothing.She is giving me options I let her know what days I have available after eight minutes she says I need an exam, so I tell her I just did one a month ago and and after all that awkward silence on the phone, and a waste of time she tells me I can't be seen in that office because they did not do my exam!?! So you rather turn away a patient that has referred many patients and obviously loose money just because an exam was done elsewhere??? read more

This location is clean, organized and has a calm setting. As someone who does not enjoy eye doctor visits, the staff made me feel welcome and explained everything with great detail. I didn't feel like just another customer and being a new patient did not at all badly influence how I was treated. I was shown exactly what my insurance covers and how I can get the most of those benefits. Definitely recommend! read more

First off, this place is so amazing.! I love love love the customer services. I was on Groupon searching through so many optometrists in my area. I did my research on all and this place popped up. I paid $50 for a free exam and $145 towards frames and lenses. When Diana answered the phone with knowledge about the promotion and eyeglass wear, I was hooked. Got me in for the next day. I called back to see if there were any appointments for today. They told me that I could come in at 2:40.! Went in and oh my goodness..the selection of frames were so amazing.! Wayyyy better than LensCrafters selections. In all, I walked away paying only $197.00 for designer frames, lenses, and exam.! That's with my voucher price as well.! Dr. Laura and staff are very friendly and efficient and helpful. The office looks more of a spa than your typical optometry office which makes it very homey, almost serene. I had been here before and seen Dr Laura Ha, so I decided to come back. The guy at the front desk is rude and tried to charge me a copay more than twice what my actual copay is. He stated "I've helped several people from your company so I'm aware of what the copay is." He thought I worked for a completely different company so the copay he was quoting was actually wrong. He then told me that my insurance credit for a fitting would only apply if I bought glasses or contacts through them. He seemed to be misinformed so I chose to take my business elsewhere. read more

The office is cute and cozy and her and her office staffs attention to detail was great. The exam itself was awesome due to the fact that she has all the advanced technology. I had an appointment and I had to wait for half and hour until I finally went up to somebody who worked there to complain and they brought me into run some pre-tests. After that they made me wait in the eye-room for another 20 minutes until the doctor finally came in. After that they ran the normal exam and it went fine. She then proceeded to suggest dilating my eyes and since it was free, I said yes. She put in the drops and then, after the drops were in, told me it would be twenty minutes before she could look. I had somewhere to be after and she should have told her patient, before the job had been done. The people who were showing the frames were also very pushy and "sale-sy" after I clearly said I wasn't interested in frames. Overall, Eycon Optometry was slow and unprofessional. read more

She and the doctor answered all my questions and got me all I needed in about 30 minutes (a lot less than I thought it would take). I took my mother to see Dr.Laura Ha a few weeks ago, and we were very happy with her service and the caring of the whole office.I was so impress that I have made an apt. for myself to see her. I told Dr. Ha that my left eye always feel like something is scratching it, and after the exam she saw what is going on,and gave me the right diagnosed. I was using waterproof eyeliner and a harsh eye makeup remover for so long and didn't know it was not good & hurting my eyes at the same time ,she explained to me about how infection can get in the eyes and for me to get more natural base eye makeup and prescribed me some eye drop and just a few days from using it, I don't feel the scratchy in my left eye anymore. I highly recommend Dr.Ha & Eyecon optometry for all the eye exam. I also bought my reading glass there,I've purchased a Toms eyewear, with funding to restore a sight to an individual who in need :) read more

Although the groupon wasn't clear in stating that I would need to pay out of pocket regardless, Raul was as helpful as possible in every way. If I could change anything it would be how rude one of the gentleman was when it came to trying to help me out with the price.
