I really will not recommend this place or this company at all, I have a pair of glasses that I was cleaning the lenses and it broke!!!!!! The brand: "ray ban"!!!!! That brand it's really great, I been using ray ban sunglasses all my life and never had a problem with manufacturing or workmanship ever!!!! But, apparently maybe this places sell at those prices those frames because they are not real or fake or the worst frames in the market, that it's why those prices!!!!! Rosa was very nice lady telling me that I have to buy another pair of glasses!!!!!! I told her that this pair only has 6 months old I was cleaning the lenses and the frame broke in half!!! That a poor workmanship!! I brought my 88 year old mom into this location today and we were helped by a wonderful kind woman named Maricella. She was so helpful and kind and considerate. My mom is completely blind in one eye and mostly blind in the other so her remaining vision is very important to her. Maricella was patient and extremely helpful. I've been a customer for years along with my wife and daughter. We love this place and the people who work here are absolutely amazing! Such a great experience. From the time we checked to to check out everyone was super friendly, no one was being pushy and trying super hard to sell us which is appreciated. Last year I went to a different location and the experience was awful. The dr was rude and would make me second guess my answers to "which one is clearer" and ultimately said my vision was perfect and only needed reading level for my job. Left me with more questions about my pain and concerns than answers. This dr today was amazing, got a totally different prescription that makes sense with my issues iv bern having that I didn't tell her about. Also was told I had astigmatism which the other dr never said and again it explains a lot of my issues. Then I believe Jessica who helped us check out never once pushed the extra like coatings and stuff they can do vs the other location pushed for it so hard. I'm super happy with this visit and glad I decided to give it a chance despite my awful experience at the other location. read more

I don't normally give reviews but when I receive excellent service then I have to shout from the mountaintop. My Dad was in dire need of an eye exam and he received a detailed eye exam from the doctor there. She took special care to make sure his eyes were checked thoroughly especially since he is diabetic. Afterwards my Dad was able to get his glasses ordered in the same place with many options for frames. The manager - Jeremy was very kind, courteous, and overall super helpful in explaining all the different options for my Dad's prescription eyeglasses. When I went to pick up the glasses, Jeremy checked every single eyeglass to make sure they were clean and exactly what my Das ordered. In today's economy - good customer service is not easily found so it's refreshing to see that there are still businesses out there that pride themselves in their product as well as their customer service. Honestly, I am ashamed to say that I have had the same glasses for over 5 years and have been in need of new ones. I had been procrastinating, but I am glad I came here. The process was so easy and they even helped me pick them out. It's hard these days with a newborn trying to shop and he wasn't particularly being nice either, but they were so patient and even entertained him while I shopped. Moderate size optometry/ eyeglass venue located in Eastlake. The same parking lot as TJmaxx and Trader joes. My son has extremely poor vision and broke his glasses at school. He can not function without those glasses. His normal optometrist stated it would be 3-4 weeks before his new glasses arrived. I couldn't wait that long. I recall walking by this store when shopping at Pier 1. So I decide to give them a try. Best decision ever!! This place is superb not only to they offer frames at a reasonable price they have they own lab, which means you can have your glasses within 3 days!!! Awesome!!! They have a very large kids' as well as adult selection. The sales associate Maricela was extremely friendly, knowledgeable as well as polite. The office itself is very roomy, well lit yet it very clean, free of debris. All the frames were clearly label with the price, clean and easily accessible. I highly recommend this place. Not only that but Dr. Bui is so thorough and patient when it comes to those she is helping and their concerns. This store is clearly intentional about their cleaning process. "THE BEST IN THE EYEGLASS INDUSTRY HANDS DOWN! " I DIDN'T HAVE TO WAIT 2 WEEKS FOR MY PRESCRIPTION GLASSES, THEY MADE THE THE SAME DAY! TEAM EYEGLASS WORLD!! I heard about EYEGLASS WORLD 's promotion ... 2 for $78 a long time ago, but I always thought it was one of those advertisements that was "too good to be true" or their was "a catch to it". Fast forward about 6 months later, I lost my glasses that I had purchased from another company. So , at first I went to my original eye doctor to see how much it to replace my glasses and they quoted me $140 for new basic frames and a new pair of lenses. (Mind you I don't have any insurance). Next, I decided to see about the promotion that EYEGlass world had. So, I walked into the EastLake location , near the 125 Freeway. I was greeted and right away by the Marcie.... ( Very down-to-earth , friendly , and knowledgeable) She was basically my personal shopper !! She choose both of my frames . SHE HAS GOOD TASTE BTW, i've been getting compliments everyday! So anyways right after I choose my frames... I choose the basic lenses. That's how you get the 2 for $78. But trust me .. these frames and lenses are not cheap. My frames are strong, and the lenses( let me tell you) I love them!! I can see the birds in the trees lol ! iF i WOULD'VE WENT TO MY ORGINAL eye doctor normally i would wwait 2 weeks to get them, but I was surprised that they could have your prescrition's done on the spot ! THat right there won me over !! I love eyeglasses world ! I think her name was raquelle she's the one who fills the prescriptions! The optometrist was top notch. But getting the eyeglasses has been difficult. I obtained my prescription 3-weeks ago. That's also when I paid over $200 for my glasses. They arrived 10 days later. I put them in and immediately noticed I couldn't see. The general manager told me to let my eyes get used to the glasses so I did. I developed a migraine. Next day, I realized I couldn't see even with well-rested vision. I took the glasses back and Robert confirmed the cut on the lenses were way off in both eyes. I would need to wait another 10 days and come in on another day off. I requested a refund because I can go to Lens Crafters and either have them ready in an hour or accurately ready in 10 days. Not 20 days. After I requested the refund the general manager said she wanted me to give her a chance to make things right. She offered the refund and said she'd place the order again with no cost to me. She said she'd obtain a credit for my insurance company, too. Well, it's been 3-weeks and my glasses aren't in, no one returns my phone calls and I have no glasses. Just go to Lens Crafters. This is an update: You know that old saying, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me." That's how I feel right now. Shame on me for letting the DM get involved and offer to have someone check the fitting and prescription in 3 to 5 days when they have a qualified person in the office capable of reviewing my lens prescription. Because they don't have anyone there today or tomorrow (Mon/Tues) who is qualified to do so, according to Tia. Then I'd have to wait 10- 12 more days (7-10 bus days) before they correct this madness and that's without a guarantee. In other words they want me to get back in the hamster cage and spin aimlessly. No the DM didn't say the dr can recheck me nor any other employee. I'm mad at myself for getting sucked back in. read more

I got my eye exam and prescription at Costco. I was excited to pick my glasses out at (Costco) and when I went to pay they asked for my membership. I have a membership and was confused as to why you didn't need a membership for the exam but needed it for the glasses. I walked out frustrated and didn't know where to go. Driving around town I saw Eyeglass world, I walked in not expecting much but little did I know I walked out with so much more! Christina greeted me with open arms took care of all my needs, and even double checked and called my insurance to make sure it would all be covered. She helped me pick out 2 pairs of amazing glasses and to my surprise I was able to get them the same day! Where as Costco would have taken 2 weeks. Everything is done there which is nice.
