I ordered a pair of sunglasses on 13 January and have not received them yet. I have emailed the help desk twice, but the emails are undelivered. So finally I had to spend more money in a new pair of glasses and I could only use this money in their website... Have had a good experience and a VERY bad one. If all goes well, the glasses are reasonable and turn out great. As some other reviews reflect, if you've a problem, be prepared to make taking care of your order your 2nd job. Everyone was polite but not really able help or explain what was going on. I went here on recommendation of a employee. I drove a hour to get a pair of new lenses put in my frames. The customer service gentleman was curt and could not be bothered it seemed. I went with them anyway. Lenses alone were over 300$. When I went to pick them Up same gentleman again same response. Took glasses home and they are progressives the spot where you need to see clearly is very high meaning I have to tilt my neck very high. Anyway did not wear because it was bothering my neck brought them Back to check and same gentleman he checked and said they were fine. I ordered two pairs from them. I received two clearly counterfeit used and beat frames. I compared them to the real frames at lenscrafters and they were clearly counterfeit. they said i have to pay return shipping as its their "policy" i saw it said the their "policy" that if it were there mistake, they would refund shipping so i said this they said "correct". come time i get my refund they subtracted there shipping cost! and then forged my refund receipt telling me they didnt! and they wouldnt refund the cost i paid to ship back like they said either. I have a difficult time finding glasses that fit within my prescription. The rep on the chat button feature was awesome! She took the time to look for the frame size I needed. Love my glasses. I only give 4 stars for really 1 reason, that hopefully will be a suggestion that gets used... When you are filling out all the information to place your order, ask for the PD then. Unless I overlooked it, I did not see it & my order was delayed until that information was given. Helpful tip would be to let people know to contact their doctor for the information if it is not on the prescription. read more

Decided to order glasses from this website because they had the highest rating for lens quality. Frames were ok but lenses had an oily film. I have tried soap and water, glass cleaners - nothing helped. I had to send the glasses back. I HAD TO PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING AND THEY GAVE ME REFUND ON THE FRAMES ONLY AND NOT LENSES THAT THEY HAD SCREWED UP. I am not sure if they are using bots to give themselves great reviews, but this company is awful from start to finish - low quality product, you pay to ship the product back and they do not give you your money back. read more

We just received our glasses and we are EXTREMELY happy with all three pairs! Eyeglasses.com made the process of ordering replacement lens very easy and notified us along the way each time our glasses moved to another stage. Once the glasses were shipped, we were sent the tracking number and was able to see when the glasses would arrive. The glasses came in a very sturdy box with each pair of glasses packed neatly inside in their own padded pouch. Our frames were not scratched, altered or damaged in any way at all. In fact, the quality of lens and coating that eyeglasses.com used were FAR better than what we had in the glasses previously! Received my new lenses after a brief delay when the lenses didn't pass a quality inspection. Didn't mind as I was happy to see that they are tested before shipping. Lenses were very high quality and much less expensive than at local stores, even after you bargain them down which is as painful as buying a new car. I bought the original frames at Eyeglasses.com, which were pretty expensive Savile Row 14K gold wire rimmed with curly temples, but Eyeglasses.com seems to have discontinued carrying many of the more expensive models. Had to order replacement temples direct from the manufacturer in England, whereas I was able to order them from Eyeglasses.com a number of years ago. Have ordered replacement lenses several times on line. The only time I contacted customer service was to ask for the replacement temples, which they no longer can obtain. read more

Many of the glasses online don't have phots or aren't available. I ordered 3 pairs to try on and did rush delivery, but over the course of a week was told two of the frames were not actually available and the third was delayed. When I said I paid for rushed delivery the person I spoke with sarcastically said "so you want three dollars back?". I decided to cancel the last frames and just go to a store in my town, and a couple of weeks later I'm still waiting to be refunded for all three pairs of glasses. I mailed in 2 frames for lens replacement, together worth $500. I got notification when the company received them and began processing them but then had to reach out approx 5 weeks later for an update. I was told two different times over a week apart that my completed order would ship the next day and finally I received a call with the bad news that the shipment was lost by the carrier. EXCEPT, that they refused to give me any shipping details except that it was a shipment *between facilities* and that UPS lost it. I filed a BBB complaint and they tried to tell me that they normally can't issue a refund (for the lens replacement service) in cases where the shipment is lost in transit, but in my case were willing to make an exception. I received my refund in full, and yet they have continued to refuse to account for how $500 worth of my own personal property was actually "lost" -- even through a BBB complaint, they will not give me a tracking number that proves my shipment was actually lost. I'm a small business owner and no client of mine would ever accept that their personal property was lost in shipping if I couldn't procure a tracking number as proof. Keep the contact info for the Federal Trade Commission and the Connecticut Attorney General handy. read more

I received my glasses and like the frames. The lenses, however, were made incorrectly. In fact, they're the exact opposite of what I need. I can't see diddly out of them. Customer support is apparently incognito. I've placed multiple calls to their 888- and local number and all the representatives are "unavailable". I left a voice message for them to call me. Nothing. I've emailed customer support describing the issue and all I get is a message requesting whether I've received my order or not. Nothing about their error. I requested a return label and wrote specifics of the problem out on that form. Nothing. They have an A- rating from the Better Business Bureau.
