I was rescheduled for another exam a week later where I got a new prescription. I then upgraded to progressive lenses paid 80.00 for cost difference. Went to pick up glasses 2 weeks later the lenses were not measured correctly, they remeasured to my eyes and reordered them. I went to pick them up 3 weeks later (because I never got a message they were ready, I had to call the store to check). I still could not see out of them. The store scheduled an in-person optometrist visit at another store in Durham, NC, where I got another different prescription. Each one has been a different prescription so far. The optometrist recommended I do single vision due to axis difference in my eye and said I was too young to need progressive and vision was not bad enough for it. So, I requested the remake of the progressive pair to be made back to single vision instead. When I asked regarding price difference figuring there would be a refund for the 80.00 i paid for the progressive lenses that I could never wear due to the prescriptions not being good, I was told I would just not be charged for the remake. The remake should not be charged to me regardless because the fault is on the technicians and doctors who created the prescriptions not me just not liking them and the recommendation of the optometrist. I also wanted to mention that both times I returned to the Burlington store they had no technician and the receptionist ran the pre exam tests on me and blasted air into my eyes 10 times because she did not know what she was doing or how to print out results. I should have been reimbursed for the 80.00 I was charged or it should have been applied to another pair of glasses but it was not. I am just hoping when I pick the new pair up in two weeks I can actually see out of them. I do not recommend the Burlington location at all.
