I hurt my eye and my regular optometrist was all booked up so I called eye q, they told me to come on in and saw me within 20 minutes. The optometrist was so nice and the staff was too. Also they have a good selection of designer glasses. I left my glasses out of town and couldn't wear contacts so they were able to order me a new pair and have them rushed and ready by the next morning. I have known Dr.Wafa for over 10 years. My mom and I both go to her. She is really great. I have taken my mom to other doctors that are closer to home but it has been more of an inconvenience then driving all the way to copper city. I must have called three different places from my insurance directory before I found Dr. Wafa on Yelp! So grateful they all turned me down because I found her! 5 star service from my initial conversation over the phone with Lauren (the lovely, professional, so very helpful receptionist/front desk) to when I walked back to my car after my visit! Lauren saved me, I called in the morning and 15 minutes later I was in their office on the 31st of December, that is called dedication to your work! Dr. Wafa is professional, sweet, down to earth and an excellent Optometrist, she gave me a thorough exam, above my expectations. The office is clean and organized, with a nice selection of frames and sunglasses. They are renovating so its only going to get better. Went in for annual exam. Arrived 25-30 minutes before scheduled appointment. Wife and I were the only patients in the office. Didn't get to see the doc. until 15 minutes after. Waited for a good 40+ minutes. Ended up paying extra $50 on top of the exam for "fitting" that we didn't received. We were handed a pair of contacts while in the examine room. When ask, we were told the charge was so they can issue us prescription for contacts that we requested. At least the front desk was honest about it. This was our second time here. Don't know if there'll be a third. We do like the ophthalmologist. She was nice compassionate. Removed 1 star for the charge on service didn't receive. Would have been 2 but $50 is less than a few other places that I read on their reviews. read more
