Arrived in Atlanta straight off the plane from Los Angeles with a pair of broken sunglasses. I looked them up on the way here and knew it was on the way to Toccoa so I had to stop. My girl's sunglasses lense came off because a screw fell out . Where am I gonna get a screw ? Eyewear Repair Express!!! They fixed it in less than 10 minutes and they even cleaned them up for us. One of the few spots in the area I could find that offered same-day eyeglass repair. I originally thought the price would be $18.95, but as the fine print says, that's the starting at price. I mentioned this to the gentleman helping me, and while he pointed it out, he was kind enough to offer me $5 off. The final bill came out to around $50, which felt a little steep for simply reattaching the left arm of my glasses, but I wasn't in the mood to shop around -- I just needed it done. Service was completed in under an hour, which I appreciated. The same gentleman also checked me out. He was definitely a bit salesy, but at the end of the day, it's a business. Overall, it was okay. These guys are incredible. The bridge broke on my titanium frames. They're not made any more, so I'd need to spend $1,000 for new lenses on a different frame. My opticians said that if anybody could repair it, the Eyewear Repair Express people could. They put a steel bridge on the inside of the titanium bridge, just as thin, and welded everything together. I came here to fix lenses for my brand new frames. Since they're rimless and I bought them myself, my insurance chain stores couldn't do the custom-cut lenses, so I brought them to this place. Absolute worst place!! The way he is, and based on the reviews, I spoke to everyone and clearly told them not to put any scratches on the frames. They said no, it will not happen. I even went the next day to remind them again. One person gave a lecture that they have 30 years of experience and have done 1000's of lenses and don't put scratches. Guess what -- they scratched the frame. I saw it when I went to pick them up. The frames had fingerprints and were masked with something else. I asked what those marks were, and the receptionist (this was on Saturday) denied it, said she doesn't know, avoided the issue, and told me to speak with the fixing person. He wasn't there, and she didn't know when he would be available. I had to go back again on Monday. The owner who received the frames, was there. He denied it again, said these are small scratches, not scratches, and offered me a 15% discount for future business. How shameless -- not apologetic at all and still trying to deny and upsell. Absolutely pathetic business. If you have cheap glasses and want to deal with this mess, go there. If you care about good service and accountability, avoid this store! This business doesn't deserve good customers. This place is not cheap -- they charged me $250 for this BS. read more

A completely professional establishment for the repair of glasses. Someone sat on my favorite name brand sunglasses and the manufacturer refused to repair because they said the shades were out of production. There is a nice waiting room to sit while you wait. The repair was done in less time than promised. Instead of paying hundreds on new shades, I get to keep mine a little while longer. The repair price was also extremely reasonable. I drove out of my way to go here because it's a black owned business. They didn't take my insurance so I paid out of pocket. The arm of my glasses broke 3 times. They repaired them all 3 times but the metal part scratched my face as it wasn't finished properly. Saying that, the customer service is good. The last time they repaired them during the height of covid, the Owner actually dropped the glasses to me at my house bc I was sick. That was going above and beyond. Recently, we took my uninsured Significant Others glasses and RX to them as they are more affordable than other places. They referred me to Eyewear Repair, one of the best referrals I've ever had! Friendly helpful staff, of course they could make the repair. Reasonable price, prompt turnaround. Completion late in the afternoon I dropped off my glasses. Don't let "Eyewear Repair" mislead - it is a full service eyewear shop, including optometrist-level exams (if I understood correctly). While they don't take optical insurance, their prices are reasonable. Likely because they don't have the expense/overhead with dealing with insurance. Drove 50 miles to Eyewear repair express to have two pair of eyeglasses repaired- the arm on one pair of CAZAL frames was broken and needed to be welded. The other pair of CAZALs had the right-side lens pop out and required a replacement. The charge was $94.25. When I picked up my glasses, the one with the welded arm had quite a bit of wiggle in it. I then wore them anyway for about a week and the weld failed. I then wore the other pair for one day and the replaced lens popped out. I called a little over a month later (after I picked the glasses up) and was told to bring them in- they would repair them. I was not able to bring them in until a couple of weeks later (I live 50 miles away), where the owner Xavier James was rude and told me my lens fell out because it was stretched. I told him î barely wore it one day (because the weld on my other pair of glasses broke) - if it was stretched, why didn't he charge me for that originally? He said the 5 year old pair of glasses were not stretched (They were) and that as my glasses were now past the 60 day warranty, and that he was doing me a "favor" in repairing the weld on the other pair. I explained they were that way for years. It never occurred to this gentleman that the original lens probably fell out BECAUSE the frame was stretched. His response was that he had been in the game for years and heard stories like mine everyday (huh?). I told him let's agree to disagree, but he kept repeating saying he did not "HAVE" to fix my glasses but was doing me "a flavor" and asked me if I wanted my glasses back without repairs. I was not going to beg this indignant person to stand by the TERRIBLE work Î already paid $100 and drove 50 miles each way-TWICE, to be disrespected as a customer. I left with my glasses BROKEN. If you value being treated with dignity, and respect DO NOT GOTO EYEWEAR Repair Express. Now, I pray Î can find a shop to fix the terrible work performed by the owner, Xavier James who would not respectfully stand by his work. BE WARNED, stay respected, and STAY AWAY read more

Once I arrived, the smiling & infectious Roz gave me all the information I needed. From the process, picking out the shades of the lens, the turnaround time & interestingly enough due to copyright infringement the loss of the designer logos...no sweat off my brow. You have to pay upfront for the repairs. & if for some reason the repair is not up to par, the repair department will do what's necessary for a satisfied customer. They repaired a pair of new expensive Italian frames in less than an hour. The hinge was completely broken and options were bleak. They welded a brand new hinge in place and it looks identical to what was in place. This business is a gem and they can make many difficult repairs. Highly recommend!!! read more

On 7-11-2024 I took my metal fame glasses to Eyewear Repair Express. The arm & hinge needed welding to the main frame. I was told they could fix it, but it might take a hour to a hour & a half.
