My office visit was so great I had to call several friends and family members and recommend!! -Let me start off first by saying I'm a HUGE believer in customer service, friendliness, and a warm, open, and inviting office. I received ALL those benefits and more in this office. I found this optometrist for my 6 year old by looking on my MetLife vision directory. I called and spoke to Miss Valerie, who was so very helpful and pleasant in making my appt. I even became lost trying to find the location, and she directed me there on the phone and was very patient. -My daughter and I were greeted by Miss Shelly (?), and one word to describe her: AWESOME! She was extremely nice, going above and beyond to accomodate my daughter with her comfort level, and to answer any questions that I may have had. Her customer service, along with the whole office, is a perfect 10! Miss Mary was the BEST! She was soooo patient with my daughter picking out her 1st pair of glasses. She didn't rush us, and made sure to compliment her on every pair she picked out, telling her she was such a pretty girl and giving her tips on how to preserve and take good care of her new glasses! -I can't say enough about Dr. Sharma! He is extremely warm and inviting, asking my daughter how her summer was, making pleasant small talk, and was just wonderful! I know it's a long review, but great customer service is to be praised. I have been going to this office for 25 years and after a 10 year stint of going to mall optometrists (because of insurance programs) I returned once I had a plan they accepted. The staff is over the top friendly and greets each customer like they are your closest friends. Last year I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Rohit Sharma, and he was just as charming as Dr. Kranz (the original doctor). I was very pleased with the service I received and ecstatic with the frames/glasses I purchased. I have gotten compliments, compliments on this new frame. I started out with Dr. Kranz as a child who had to wear hard contact lenses. Overwhelming was an understatement. But Dr. Kranz and his staff were invaluable in getting me to wear them daily - and with confidence. Fast forward about 20 years, and I'm back! Dr. Sharma has gotten me back into contact lenses (soft) and my son goes to the same eye doctor's office I went to as a child. I am so pleased with the great service provided by Dr. Sharma and his staff. They all are personable and extremely knowledgeable about eye care. I am a diabetic and at every visit he always ask me if I'm checking my glucose levels daily. He reminds me how important it is to my vision to control my glucose. No other doctor I've been to does that, not even the one that's treating me for diabetes. His staff is exceptionally courtesy, kind and helpful. Hello Everyone, I had an appointment with Southern Eye Specialists on 3/13/2013 with Dr. Sharma my visit as always was very informative. Dr. Sahrma and his staff is very professional and they take their time with you to make sure understand the services they are providing and I don't feel as if he rushing to get to his next patient. I drive at least 30 miles to their office and pass pleanty of other optometrist to get to Southern Eye Specialists and I do that because of the excellent customer service. This place is AWESOME! Professional, clean, and quick. As soon as I came in, they made light of the fact that I had not filled out my paperwork already , like I said I would. I have been a patient of Drs. Kranz and Sharma forever. I started when Dr. Kranz was working alone and his wife was the receptionist. I left once due to insurance carrier change, then came back. The reason I returned was because the staff is friendly, gives great service and seem like family to me. I adore both doctors but like that Dr. Kranz is taking time to enjoy his family and grands. I really enjoyed my visit to the eye doctor; I am a new patient. I like that they do a sort of 'pre-registration' on the phone and that you can pull the paperwork off their website. This makes the wait time shorter and since I don't work near their office that was a plus.
