Helped a friend move stuff from this storage facility and it's an absolute DUMP! The place smells from the moment you enter the units - there are tons of mouse droppings and remnants from bugs, potentially termites... My best friend said there was a dead rat in one of the boxes stored, so I'm sure the place is infested. I also had a paper box, along with other items to throw away, however there was no public trash can for disposal. Don't sacrifice the well-being of your belongings to save a couple bucks. NOT WORTH IT. read more

not sure where my review went.. probably got taken off because i mentioned that this place has Rats, Termites, spiders, etc. Communication takes forever, resolution of problems take even longer, and are wholly insufficient. My pregnant wife let the lady at the front desk know that there was a dead rat in our storage, and she replied "Well I'm not touching it!" I ended up touching it. After I had moved all my stuff out, swept out the pile of rat poop, and mopped the floors, they then came and asked if I needed help cleaning. Too little, too late. Their response to the termites was using a topical, spot spray. I spoke with Terminix and they said spot sprays do nothing. The only solution would be tenting. They did not have the decency to tell neighboring units about the rats and termites. They did not have the decency to correctly address the problem, because that would have cost them too much money. It's a storage unit business. How hard can it be. Basically the only responsibility is the building not falling down, not having termites or rats, and not burning down. (By the way, no fire sprinklers anywhere) read more

I'm so glad that this place is so "busy" that they can afford to keep the front door locked during business hours, and have an employee sitting in the office. But totally lose a rental because you force me to call to make an appointment. Horrible business practice, thank you for telling me everything I need to know before ever renting from you and wasting my money. read more

I have been storing stuff at storage units for various reasons for years. EZ Storage is one the best places I've rented from. The Buena Park location is conveniently located from either the 5 FWY or the 91 FWY. This makes it easy to get to, which is an important factor for me. I cannot stand storage unit companies that are miles and miles from the freeway. The location is open 7 days per week from 10am to 6:30pm (actual access to the units) and the office is open till 7pm. So, overall it's pretty accessible. I like that they do NOT have keyed entry. I have units broken into at other companies because anyone can access a keyed entry location (the type where you key a code onto a keypad). At this location you have to give the office manager (Carmen) your driver's license and then you will get the key to access the building where your Unit is located. I think Carmen is a great office manager. She's very good at remembering me, and having my unit's key ready for me before I even ask. She's even good at "reading" me...like one day she said she'd be right back, and she ended up bringing me a bottle of cold water. It was very sweet of her and not something she "needed" to do. The prices are very reasonable for storage, especially in Orange County, and when I rented a unit there was a special going. I got my first 3 months at 1/2 price (not sure if this special is still going). If you need extra storage I would highly suggest you check out EZ storage before going somewhere else. read more

I don't know what the person under me is talking about. Ive had my things stored here for years, NOT a friend of mine. Never had any issues with rodents or the like. they are great to work with especially Carmen. they have a half off deal for the first 3 months and you don't have to enter some dumb gate code cause theres always someone on hand to make sure things are secure. great place that I recommend to anyone that needs to store their belongings. Maybe Marki should let her friend leave the review instead of going off word of mouth considering there are 3 storage sheds on the same block. a friend of mine told me MARKI IS AN IDIOT but I wont take her word for it... read more

I have had several storage units at one time. My husband and I have used Buena Park storage a couple of times over the years. At this time we have two units, I can't begin to say enough nice things about Carmen. We have had a difficult time with our move, but Carmen has been very helpful with our storage needs. It is nice to have someone be friendly, As well as professional at the same time. So many companies are not very personable, but wth Carmen it is like talking with a friend. My friend stored her belongings at this place for only one month. When she opened her unit, everything was covered with rat feces. She spoke to someone in the office who said " oh, yeah, we have a rodent problem". ( obviously they knew!) She asked for the phone number of the manager and they refused to give her anything but an email address. Needless to say, her emails have gone unanswered and she had to pay a company to clean and disinfect all of her furniture and belongings. I would seriously not consider this place EVER! read more

Ez storage is the worst place to go for your storage needs my girlfriend has a unit their & in the 2+ weeks we've gone their is a guy named Reuben their he is rude & completely out of line w/ my girlfriend & me the first time we had a problem was when we tried to make a payment for her unit in (cash) as she had promised she would we got their 10 mins before their close thinking we'd be okay but Reuben would not accept payment .I was waiting in the car w/ my newborn son I could hear Reuben being very rude w/ my girlfriend so I got out of the vehicle & tried we speak to tell him we just want to make a payment but he stated I turned all the computers off & won't accept payment. The very next day we spoke to the manager a white lady unsure of her name but she stated that Reuben should of accepted the payment & that they were sorry. Now on to incident #2 I walked to the door to get the key to unlock the access door to my girlfriends unit to put a few things in & the door was locked so I knocked & Reuben exited the office door mad I had disturbed his lunch hour of playing on his cell phone I was unaware the office was closed for lunch he started yelling at me & getting in my face I exchanged some words w/ him & got the key put my stuff away & returned the key as I did he stated my Bad I said I don't wanna hear it just give me your name & have a good day he told me his first & last name and continued to be rude saying you want my email too I walked away & had my girlfriend call to complain since it's her unit but I am ok to enter it.
