We are native New Yorkers who relocated to California three years ago so we are a bit of pizza snobs. This was our favorite New York-style pizza we've had since we moved out here. There was a bit more crust than you get in New York, but the sauce and cheese really hit the mark for us and made it up for us. I think the oven could maybe be a little hotter to get the pizza a little more crispy on the bottom but this is really nitpicking. We also really enjoyed the soft serve which isn't as easy to find as it is on the East Coast. The staff and owner were also really nice. Let us know they have different specials, especially during the week. They had a big TV outside that would be good for catching any sporting events, and parking was easy on a Sunday night. I know they just opened I would love to see them introduce some appetizer options eventually, like garlic knots or rice balls easy things like that. read more

It was a bold move, opening a new pizza shop, in a town already teeming with them (S&P, Vinny's, Prime, Stuft). Thankfully this place also delivers (it's also the only shop with both pizza and ice cream, so that's nice). This place has the perfect NY slice--with minimal cheese and sauce, but a master crust, that's soft on the inside, perfect amount of crunch, and charred undercarriage. My only complaint is that there isn't enough meat on it. Great pizza that I'd come back for, but S&P is still my favorite! read more

Stopped by for their Grand Opening on July 5th - tons of families, kids, adults, a DJ, a raffle, and tons of fresh pizza and soft serve. It's always fun to see that kind of energy and support in ES! Stopped by a couple of days later to try out the rest of their pizza flavors. Without the crowd I was able to really see the place. I'm sad that they removed so much seating on the inside and replaced it with stools and a bar. I've always found the seating outside on the patio to be squished and it still feels like that only now with a giant TV - hope you're into sports! The bench seating along the sidewalk needs some consideration - the umbrellas make it so only 1 person can sit at the table on the bench in the shade. We ordered 4 flavors: pepperoni, mozz, white, and sausage. I was extra excited to try their sausage because it's fresh and homemade. The mozz was unexpectedly fantastic - delicious flavor. Pepperoni was standard. White did not have a lot of flavor. The sausage, which I was the most excited to try, had almost no sausage! but the flavor was good. Across the board, the pizza was a little dry - always the problem with pizza by the slice. It's cooked, cut, sits out, then cooked/reheated again and served to you. Not what we got when we came here for the grand opening, I realized, which was fresh pizza. I would hands down order fresh pizza from here over anywhere in town, which we will be doing, but we will be skipping the by the slice. The highlights of both experiences were : (1) they have a fantastic, bright red sauce. Better then S&P, better than Prime. (2) the soft serve. I don't even like soft serve, but it's so nice to get that little cup of something with some crumbles on top as a dessert - perfect size for 2 people to share imo. All in all - a great addition to the neighborhood and we will def be back to order some fresh pizzas to-go and some soft serve! Also, the design team they worked with made the space a vibe! The painted signage on the walls, the neon signage and the stickers and swag from the grand opening - all really fun and really well done! read more

New place. No refills on the soda. Cleaned it up nicely. Small bottled water for free. $13.50 for two slices and a drink. Indoor and outdoor seating. Restroom at the back. Free street parking and a few spots behind as well. Pizzas and made and ready on the rack. It you like it soft, ask for it off the rack or softer. Scott said they can adjust. Otherwise they warm it up through an automatic heater (think the kind you see at a sub shop). Good flavor, tasty sauce, flat, NY style. Give it a try! Enjoy!!! read more

New place in town so we had to check it out. Pizza is good - very similar to our town staple "slice n pint". I did enjoy the arugula topping. The soft serve was good as well. Everything was good, but I felt uneasy about the staff. I watched them go up to each table/group of customers and hand them a flyer about the grand opening.. except my daughter and I. They looked at us and walked past us multiple times, but never took the time to speak to us like they did the other patrons. Not even to stop and ask if we were enjoying our food . Just no interaction. I normally wouldn't mind this - but we were there for quite awhile and watched them talk to every single other table. This really rubbed me the wrong way. read more

We visited for their grand opening and they provided the most generous amount of complimentary slices, soft serve and drinks (and cute free merch!) to a busy crowd. Having had a lot of NY style pies in LA that are meh, I wasn't expecting this to be the best so far...but truly the quality was there. This is my favorite new pizza spot in the South Bay, hands down. The fact that they also have Straus soft serve is just perfection and hard to find. The crust is that hard to find combination: light and airy, crispy but also nicely chewy, and Incredible fresh and tastes handmade. It feels clean and not heavy. The tomato sauce was perfect, bright and balanced. The cheese had just the right amount of saltiness. And the pepperoni were slightly charred and crispy...yum. The pizza alone already makes this place peak for me...but the fact that they have soft serve too is absolute fire. The vanilla is delicious and the standout for me but the chocolate is great too. The staff all were very helpful and kind and you can tell this place is well managed and organized bc the grand opening could've been chaos but they were very on top of it all! We're looking forward to coming back here on our own dime and enjoying this delicious pizza again. read more

This is very good thin, crispy pizza. I ordered a slice of pepperoni and their fennel sausage slice. The fennel wasn't spicy at all and I enjoyed the cheesy texture of both slices. Kudos for bravely opening yet another quality pizza joint in El Segundo successfully. read more

Exciting that there's a new pizza spot in town. We were originally just going to order soft serve for dessert, but decided to try out a slice since we were already there. The pizza looked very promising, but we found it to have a burnt taste to it although it wasn't physically burnt. The crust was very thin and airy, definitely on the lighter side. The soft serve was pretty good and I like how they offer a combo deal with pizza and soft serve. They have a kiosk that you can order at. It wasn't busy on a Saturday night, it only took a few minutes for everything to come out. They have indoor and outdoor seating. read more

Finding great pizza in LA is anything but EZ, but that's not the case in El Segundo... EZPZ pizza has opened their doors on Main Street and finally solved the age-old problem with California pizza: the crust! Coming from the east coast, it's been frustrating ordering pizza out west. Oftentimes, the toppings are very high-quality, but the crust is soft and undercooked, so it's soggy by the time it leaves the counter. People have told me I need to specify "Well Done" when ordering. Well, I don't have to do that at EZPZ. Along with the high quality ingredients, the dough is fermented for 48 hours before they even bake it, which makes it light, but also keeps that missing crisp. How do I know this? The chef told me himself.  Actually, we were greeted by the Owner, Chef, and Manager throughout our visit, (and it wasn't a slow day there). They were all so kind and clearly passionate about this new venture. They sent us on our way with truly exceptional pizza and a complementary soft-serve and beer tasting.  We'll definitely be coming back. And dare I say, if they can keep this up, they might be entering the best pizza in LA conversation, (El Segundo counts)! read more

The crust is super light and airy, but not crackery, the cheese is generous but not overly placed to the point it would lead to greasiness, and the sauce is a wonderful flavorful and tangy recipe that's lightly laid but still just enough. read more

I've had Prime pizza, Vinny's, Giro's, Pitfire, Beach pizza, union pizza, The good pizza pretty much every pizzeria in the SouthBay and EZPZ is hands down the best. Reminiscent of a trip to New York, the slices are thin, wide, floppy and have a good balance of sauce, bread and cheese. The staff are amazing and make you feel honored for your patronage. The inside is vibrant and well lit, with ample seating both inside and out. Will be frequenting this establishment whenever i get an itch for pizza. read more

Now that's a great pizza! The staff is friendly and the manager Alex is wonderful Our first visit ordered a sausage pie and it was amazing, especially the sausage. the ratio of ingredients was also perfect just like the pizza I recall from my childhood. I will start this review by saying this is exactly the kind of place El segundo has been missing. They bring it all. Amazing energy, world class customer service, and most of all a slice of pizza that literally makes your eyes well up with tears it's so good. Zero cap. EZPZ was a delicious pizza experience. Quick and friendly service. They offered a military discount (rang up as the employees discount at around 10-15% I forget exactly, so YMMV, but do ask). The deals/combo they offer are fairly reasonably priced for the area. Each slice is decently large and that tasted fresh while also not being melt your face off hot. The soft-serve was also really good. The vanilla had a distinct vanilla bean flavor, and the chocolate appeared to have coco flakes or powder throughout. It also didn't instantly melt so they're doing something else right in that regard. A solid lunch spot with plenty of outside seating though the inside was mostly just open space. Ordered a slice each of hawaiian, sausage, and white pizza. Not bad, but uncompetitive in the area. One block down the road Slice & Pint offers similarly styled and better tasting slices for less. Creamy Boys ice cream has better portions and more flavors of soft serve. The service was a little disjointed, but not unexpected from a new restaurant. Sometimes they called customer names to pick up their food, but other tables were having staff bring pizza to tables. The overall ambience on a Friday was fun, but I think they can do better to provide more seating options. When an employee took his break, he claimed a whole table and was seated in such a way that obstructed access to other tables. Prior to EZPZ opening, I was interested to see if they would provide a good alternative to the other options in downtown El Segundo. Unfortunately, I don't believe they are yet able to compete. read more

Wife and I were excited to walk to the new pizza place in town. Love the combo deal options and staff and vibe inside was on point. We had white and sausage slices, both were excellent. My only complaint is that the soft serve is mediocre. Kinda reminds me of what they serve at Sizzler. Just not creamy enough. If you only have 2 things on the menu, they should both be outstanding. And the ice cream is on the watery side. read more

EZPZ is definitely what it is, with great customer service as it's toppings. The staff was nice and helpful, especially Nicholas who welcomed me on my lunch break as I was curious to this new establishment. So much flavor and perfect crust made me suggest to my kids the following day as a lunch spot for them to try after the summer league high school basketball game. The gentleman at the counter had the menu down as I was asking for details on the various pies. I won't tell you which pies to choose as I'll leave that to you so you can have your own mini adventure. But I will add that from the various pies and slices that I've tried. They were all good so I don't think you can miss, as hitting the hungry target is pretty much EZPZ. Nicholas was great as day one, so his level of help was always on point if it were the top notch category. We got a nice cup of pizza sauce to dip the crusts and he personally grated the cheese on top while it was fresh on the table from the oven. The guy doing the pizzas even came out and apologized that on of the pizza wasn't a perfect shape as he prefers. That tells you al lot about a restaurant when they apologize for the little stuff because the that means it is important to them as well. 5 stars EZ... I'm a native New Yorker who lived there for 28 years and this is the closest thing to NYC pizza in el Segundo or anywhere in South Bay. Delicious thin crust, great flavor, high quality ingredients... and the vibe is trendy/cool, honestly just what this town needed. It's not cheap pizza, but nothing cheap is good these days. Earlier today I tried EZPZ for the first time. Easy parking, great customer service, and some tasty pizza & soft-serve. Tried the slices of the EZ CHEESE, the FESH MOZZ, and the HOTTIE. All three were excellent and I look forward to having each of these again along with trying some of the others. Really liked the crust. I also had the vanilla & chocolate twist soft-serve in a cup. The soft-serve is organic. While there, I got to meet the co-founders (Marley & Beau) and Chef T (Scott). They and their staff were all so nice and they genuinely care about your experience and serving great food at reasonable prices. When in the El Segundo area this is a place worthy of checking out. Super stoked to learn that they have a 2nd location in the works in the San Fernando Valley, slated to open later this year! read more

Brand new Main Street El Segundo pizza place. Check out the crust!!!!! Distinctively light and luscious...just the right amount of crispy. The dough is slow-fermented for like 48 hours or something, is that crazy or what??!!And, they use organic ingredients in both their incredible crust and really really smooth soft-serve. Straightforward, simple menu like you find in NYC pizza joints, but with a SoCal vibe. AND....the staff is young, energetic, and welcoming. *Also......as I was waiting for my pie to come out of the oven I watched as the dough was being tossed and the pizzas prepped. What struck me was the care with which all of the kitchen staff kept the work areas clean and sparkling and organized. The kitchen team seems to take pride in not only what they do but how they do it. Kudos to them - really refreshing to see. And now they have a large screen on their front patio- perfect for viewing the World Cup. This place knows who they are and they do it well. My new favorite pizza place. read more
