Alfredo Sauce Fettuccine with chicken n broccoli. Garlic bread

Great Service, But the Energy Shifted I stopped by Vinny's Pizza after seeing the great reviews and wanting something comforting. The food itself was decent -- the pizza was good, and the chicken-broccoli alfredo had nice flavor, though I do wish the toppings were a bit fuller, but I understand that's their set policy. The team working the floor was genuinely kind. They greeted us with smiles, kept the dining area clean, and offered great customer service. Up until the owners arrived, the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming. Once the owners came in, the energy shifted. They didn't acknowledge guests -- not even a simple hello or smile. Instead, there were blank stares that made the environment feel uncomfortable. I also overheard a private conversation between them and an employee right by the front counter, which really should've been handled in the back for everyone's comfort. Overall, the staff was lovely and the food was fine, but the presence and demeanor of the owners took away from the experience. I wish them well, but I don't think I'd return.

I stopped by over the weekend and got a slice of pepperoni pizza with some buffalo wings . I took it to go . I decided to eat across the street at the park . The food was good but I did feel like the pizza could have been sitting there a bit . I see some reviews talk about owners changing? So not sure . Maybe next time I can ask or try something else . In the past I've had really good pizza so definitely would try another visit .

Took my five-year-old twin daughters for a pizza night. The staff was very friendly. The food was amazing and the ambience was very chill. This place is kid friendly has ample parking and definitely gives authentic pizzeria vibes.

    Pepperoni pizza

Yesterday in the morning, I passed by to get a slice of pepperoni pizza and it was the best pizza I've had in El Segundo!

I love supporting mom and pop shops. But I'm a whole package kind of gal! You gotta impress me with everything! We decided to just order from here instead of going to slice and pint and little gourmet was closed. So Vinny's was our 3rd choice. I ordered online directly from their website and had a 35 mins pick up window. Luckily we came a little earlier only to find out our order was never sent to the kitchen. So in total our order took a little over an hour. The pizza is ok, I asked for well done and it was soggyish. I've definitely had way better pizza! I love pizza too btw! I'll still eat a bad pizza and that's exactly what I did. I'll give them 2 stars, my bf gave the pie a 5/10 & for the young gal who apologized for the wait but I'll spend my money elsewhere.

Full size calzone, note how full the box is

I have been a a customer here since I started working in the area in 2019. I'm not sure if there was a change in ownership but today I was astounded when I picked up my Calzones and felt them incredibly light. I paid extra for extra toppings that I can already tell were not included as requested. I was in a rush as I stepped away from work and had no replacements for this meal in such a short amount of time else I would have demanded a refund. I'm providing pictures of the two calzones I ordered and a calzone from yelp so you can see the shrinkflation for yourself. I'm also including my receipt in hopes that you will make this right as I might not be returning. Not only do I buy for myself and family from here but my job buys us lunch every two weeks and Vinny's has always been a staple. I purchase food for over 20 employees. You would be loosing my business as well as my corporations.

White pizza slice and margarita pizza slice
    Jay S.

Vinny's always has fantastic service and I used them a few times now for catering orders too (including recently on 4th of July weekend). The food was once again a huge hit! Especially the Tomato Cream Pasta! Unfortunately, I didn't take photos when I initially received the food, just the leftovers later on. The white pizza was definitely the most popular this time, followed by the margarita. Surprisingly BBQ Chicken Pizza had a decent bit leftover. I definitely ordered too much food, but I was so happy with the service and quality! They have a nice little cozy ambience when you're eating inside as well. 5/5 - Tomato Cream Pasta: super flavorful, definitely their most popular and best dish based on my experience. 5/5 - White Pizza: I can't quite put my finger on it, but something about this white pizza is a little different that makes it really stand out. It might be the fact that it doesn't have the same saltiness that many other white pies do. 4.5/5 - BBQ Buffalo mixed wings: A really great combination of barbecue and buffalo that makes for some fantastic wings. 4.5/5 - Fettuccine Alfredo Pasta: on its own, this pasta is great, compared to the Tomato Cream Pasta it seems far behind but that's just because the tomato cream is so amazing. However, if you're a fettuccine alfredo fan, you will not be disappointed at all. 4/5 - Margarita Pizza: a pretty solid margarita pie that is a little tomato forward. 4/5 - BBQ Chicken Pizza: if you're a fan of barbecue chicken pizza, you will not be disappointed. 4.5/5 - Garlic Knots: pretty solid and very flavorful, but a bit of a filler in my opinion Food: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Value: 4/5 Overall: 4.5/5

    6 Inch Hot Pastrami

At home eating a pastrami sandwich my mother-in-law brought me from Vinny's; SO good!!! I don't think I've had a pastrami sandwich before so I can't really compare it to anything else but I love it and will definitely get food from there again. I wish I got a foot long instead of a six inch, that's how good it is to me!

    Veggie Italian
    Sky K.

Got their veggie italian. Some places can be skimpy on veggies, but this place satisfied my needs for daily veggie intake (). Fresh ingredients and very helpful staff. This is why I'd always go to mom and pop shops. I would definitely revisit and try other pizza as well!

    Hawaiian pizza slice
    Yourfood C.

I get this pizza before I go to work. The Hawaiian pizza is so fire, and fresh, the customer service is always good, and the ambiance is kind of like a mom and pop type of deal. Like family vibes. The Hawaiian pizza is really really good.

I wouldn't say amazing but it is good. They have lunch specials for slices if you just want to see if you like it without having to buy a whole pie. If you like the slices, a whole fresh pie is better.

This was one of the best pizza-related choices I've made in Southern California. Parking is a little tough...I ended up parking a few blocks away on a main street, which was fine, but didn't notice there was a public parking structure available closer behind a building across the street. The place was crowded and lively on the early Saturday evening I was there. That's a great sign...I was just getting a slice to go, but overheard the host telling people it would only be 10-15 minutes for a table. I had a classic cheese slice. (My litmus test for NY pizza at a new location.) It was FANTASTIC. Easily among the very best crusts I've had on the west coast...super thin and crispy...exactly as it should be. The balance of sauce and cheese was also perfect. Too many pie shops seem to treat sauce as an afterthought...too thin a layer, almost not tastable. But not here...it was perfect...the right amount of everything. There are other really delectable looking pizza options, even for vegetarians like me, including a fascinating "Cacio E Pepe" and a Margherita. (I also saw one which looked all sauce like a tomato pie, which looked really good. (Plus other options like Fried Brussels Sprouts or Fried Cauliflower...cheese bread, and salads. The beer menu, as one would expect with "pint" in the name, is extensive with lots on tap and "guest" brewery selections. Lots of wines to choose from as well. Honestly, I don't think the marshmallows added much, but I definitely enjoyed eating them. We shared about 5-6 dishes. The White Truffle Garlic Bread was amazing--super soft, flavorful, and not overpowering. The Yellowtail Crudo was one of my favorites. The fish had great texture and quality, and all the salty, citrusy, creamy elements worked really well together. For the mains, the Seared Scallops with sweet corn risotto were a standout. The scallops were seared perfectly with great texture. The Braised Short Rib Lumache was also delicious, although the beef was a little richer than I personally prefer. We also had the Roasted Salmon with fregola and broccolini, which was cooked well and nicely balanced. Our server was amazing--attentive, helpful, and provided great service throughout the night. Overall, it was a great celebration dinner and an excellent first experience at North Italia. I'd definitely come back.

My issue was with my most recent experience. I'm not a fan of the large tomato chunks in the deep dish sauce, so during a previous visit, an employee told me they could substitute their regular pizza sauce. She warned me that it could make the dough soggier, but I accepted that risk, ordered it that way, and the pizza came out perfect. I returned about two weeks later and ordered it exactly the same way. A newer employee told me he had been instructed never to make a deep dish with that sauce because it could affect the dough. I explained that another employee specifically told me to order it this way and that I had already tried it and loved it. I was willing to pay for it and completely accepted the risk, but he still refused to make it. I don't blame the employee because he made it clear that he was new and was simply following the instructions he had been given. My issue is with the inconsistency and how the situation was handled. I ended up leaving with nothing because they refused to make an order they had made for me just two weeks earlier. The pizza itself is great, but this was a very disappointing customer service experience. I have never been to any establishment in my life and been turned away because they couldn't make a very minor adjustment to a food order that I had already previously ordered there.

From the moment we arrived, we were immediately greeted by the hostess, who went out of her way to move some reservations around to better seat our party (we had 3 people but were only able to book a reservation for 2). I really appreciated this gesture, as well as the friendly and attentive service we received throughout the evening. We were seated on their beautiful outdoor patio, though it seems like you can't go wrong with either indoor or outdoor seating. Now, onto the FOOD: Caesar Salad: 5/5 Damn, I really wish all Caesar Salads could taste like this. Fresh, crunchy romaine drizzled with a spicy Caesar dressing and topped with toasted breadcrumbs - simple, but done very well. I really liked how tangy the dressing was! Chicken Parm: 5/5 First of all, can we take a moment to appreciate the massive portion? The chicken cutlet was perfectly breaded and fried, and the crispy exterior was nicely contrasted by the velvety, decadent vodka sauce and generous layer of melted cheese. I couldn't finish it all and had to take some of it home, which ended up being a delicious meal the next day. Meyer Lemon Pie: 4/5 I love pie, I love lemons, and I love lemon pie done well. The tartness of the Meyer lemons really shone and cut through the sweetness to create a perfectly balanced dessert. The dollop of whipped cream on top definitely tasted like it was freshly whipped in-house. Although the whipped cream tasted a tad bit salty, I still enjoyed and devoured it all. I just wish the portion were a little bigger since it was so yummy! Parking: There is a small parking lot out front, though it seems to fill up quickly in the evenings/on the weekends. Thankfully, we were able to find street parking pretty easily. My friends and I all raved about our experience here, especially for the $45 Dine LA price tag. I can't wait to come back!
