If you're looking for a healthy option and also delicious, this establishmemt is definitely one of the ones to visit in Fort Lee, I always seem to forget to take a photo of the bowl (guess it's that good). My usual go to for this place would be a salad bow,l Aphrodite. The people are friendly, they are quite flexible with the orders and no frill, quick easy in and out. The other day, I had the pleasure of trying their burger which was delicious. The location is just a few blocks from the GWB and located in the same strip mall as a Cafe, restaurant, nail spa etc. There is a private parking lot just in front of the property too.

Füdgarten/Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap This orangic spot prepares a fantastic wrap filled with everything you need. The freshly made croutons were the best feature as they were extra thick and crunchy. If there was a crouton contest, Füdgarten would be at the front of the pack!

I went to Füdgarten only one other time previously and I think it must've been an off day because I did not have a good experience. However, I gave them another try today and I've had a definite change of heart. I ordered the Body bowl with chicken. Most of the bowls here come with quinoa or brown rice as the base. Personally, I don't like quinoa or brown rice (texturally, they just don't do it for me) but I was able to substitute the quinoa for potato, which worked out. The bowl came with a pleasant lemon cilantro vinaigrette, which tasted like a chimichurri sauce. It was a nice complement to the chicken (but the chicken was well seasoned and flavorful enough to stand on its own). It was also very juicy and tender and the portion size was really good. Overall, it was a nice wholesome meal. Healthy but not bland. Mike and his team run a great restaurant. For people who are health oriented and track their macronutrients, their menu makes it easy to stick to your goals. It's very protein focused and they have a good variety of protein options (including vegan/ vegetarian). I'll be back to try some of their other menu items.

What a pleasant surprise right around the corner from my gym! I left my gym session with a plan to head into the city. While charging my car, I wandered i to Füdgarten to grab breakfast. I ended up getting The Body Bowl and added chicken. It was so so good wow! Filled with protein and fresh ingredients, it's def a great kickstart for the day. I purchased the apricot, banana, and chocolate chip protein cookies as well (TBD on the review). They weren't busy at all, and the gentleman behind the counter gave me great recommendations, as this was my first time. It's a chill spot with decent music. I'll be back!

Came here on a Friday afternoon. My friend told me about this spot, checked out reviews and pics and decided to try this place out. I got the SoCal with whole wheat wrap ($15.46 tax inc.) and it was really good. My friend got the Big NY and split half with me and this was tasty as well. I can tell they use fresh ingredients. I actually came here for the chicken Caesar wrap but they are only available early on the week, forget the exact days... I will be back for these. Absolutely delicious meals. I truly don't think you can go wrong with any thing you select. I can "eat out" without feeling too guilty. I ended up getting the Big NY sandwich and the guy up front recommended getting it as wrap and I'm glad I took his advice. The steak was juicy and pairs well with the feta crumbs and hints of the Leon on cilantro vinaigrette!

Füdgarten is a great place to get your healthy kicks going on smoothies, foods, and more. The past few times I came here, it was always delicious. You leave here knowing you tried different drinks or food off the menu, and it's yummy each time. Plenty of seating options, all forms of payment are accepted and shared parking lot with other stores too. Staff is helpful on any questions, too. Great overall options on the menu. It can be a little expensive, however we haven't found many places compared to Füdgarten and it's definitely worth the visit. I personally like eating the food at Füdgarten than bringing it to go. More fresh, tastes are amazing.

I forget exactly what I got but I turned it in to a wrap and added grass-fed steak. It was good and filling! The gentleman working, I'm not sure if he was the owner, was very nice and helpful! This spot feels like a hidden gem. Everything tasted fresh, such a good option for anyone really!

Took my daughter for the first time and she was not impressed by the western omelette because they did not chop any of the ingredients and mixed it together with the eggs it was just all put together as a whole but my El Toro with chicken was amazing

What can I say... I'm in love with Füdgarten, and everyone knows it! I dedicate this #ThankYouThursday to you... for being Awesome and Amazing! Always freshly made to order meals with local grown ingredients AND it's a healthier food option. Service is welcoming and heart warming (just like their brownies!) with plenty of seating- indoor and outdoor. Grab this to-go or dine in. Your tummy will thank you and crave more. My go-to meals are the steak quesadilla in which I add chicken for the more protein kick. BUT... my favorite daily special is on, none other, Thursday- #ThankYouThursday that is, and it's the Aztec Chicken... FINGER LICKING GOOD!!!!! Come hungry and leave happy, AND don't forget to grab a homemade brownie or cookie... you will be AMAZED! Thank you for a blissful feeling Füdgarten!

Wow this place is not only delicious but everything is organic! I had a homemade brownie with walnuts while I was waiting for my food, and oh my God I could've just eaten that. I had a Cobb salad which was incredible, also the big New York sandwich with real fillet. My friend had the Tuscany sandwich it was both cheesy and delicious if you were in the fort lee area this is the place to grab a Great sandwhich or a great snack! They even have burgers

I tried the viral Chicken Caesar wrap, and honestly, it was a letdown. First, the size was MUCH smaller than what's shown on their social media--super misleading. Second, $15 for just the wrap (no fries!) feels overpriced. The service was the real issue, though. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was off. The cashier was rude and gave us major attitude. When we got our food, it wasn't even served to us like other customers-- similar to Starbucks; had to get it ourselves. No big deal but when more people came in, the vibe completely shifted. Suddenly, other customers were getting better service, small talk, and friendly interactions, which made our experience feel even worse. Overall, the service we received was unacceptable and disappointing. Would not recommend to anyone.

Wholesome, delicious food. Their Thursday special, Aztec chicken, is amazing. From the rub on the chicken to the roasted corn salad to the guac to the CHIMICHURRI. Omg I would buy bottles of the chimichurri. Edit: just bit into a fudge brownie. Fudgarten, do you make these in house? It's ridiculously good. read more

Fudgarten is a perfect hybrid of healthy and tasty grub. My first order was delivered today and it was delicious! My wife praised their Cobb salad as top 5 dead or alive. I went with the Chicken Kebab Wednesday special. It was finger-licking good! I decided to visit this awesome establishment for dinner to provide kudos. I met Mike the Godfather and Paul who is his Consigliere. They are 2 humble dudes who appreciate their well deserved praise from a Foodie like me. They also understand (like Spider-Man) that with great food comes great responsibility! P.S. my dinner order was a burger, steak Toro, Harvest Panini and they were all awesome!! read more

My family and I love trying new restaurants in Fort Lee and beyond, but few eateries blow us away like #nj_fudgarten. My son had a Creole burger prepared with a Cajun seasoning, bacon, arugula, red onion, Pepper Jack cheese and homemade Russian dressing with a side of oven baked sweet potato fries, and paired with a Sweet Treat protein shake. I had the Umami burger filled with avocado, spinach, mushroom, spicy peppers, topped with a wasabi ginger sauce and a side of oven baked HUGE steak-style cut french fries - nicely seasoned. The Hurcluean protein shake was my liquid dessert of choice. (see menu link below for ingredients) The meat in both burgers burst with tasty juices that leave you wondering, "What just happened?" after that first bite. The toppings create layers of worldly ingredients that take you from NYC to Japan to the "Big Easy" and back. One thing became immediately clear as we dove deeper into the "fudgarten" - you have to make a conscious effort to take every bite slowly as if you were biting into an amazing piece of chocolate in an effort to make it last longer. A rare pairing for great food and business owners that run the establishment is the fact that Michael and Julian are really invested in the Fort Lee community and go the extra mile to ensure that the quality of customer experience is superb. I have witnessed their efforts, and I believe Fort Lee residents and neighbors should support rare gem businesses like Füdgarten to ensure they remain with us indefinitely through the pandemic and beyond. Nice new American spot with a lot of fusion style food. Their Thursday special chicken dish was amazing, tender, flavorful and moist. I usually don't get chicken dish (other than fried chicken) in restaurants because they are difficult to make. I used to frequent the tea bar that once stood at where this new joint is now open. While I bemoan the tea bar's demise, I quickly found that the new place has much to offer on their own. For one, the dining area is spacious, the menu is simple and on-point, and the staff is very friendly and quite helpful. Based largely on the staff's recommendations, I've tried to date their classic burger, Umami Burger, Creole Burger, and Cobb Salad. While most joints cook their burgers on a flat-top skillet, this place apparently uses a broiler, which imparts a distinctive smoky flavor to their burgers. I found the flame-broiled grass-fed beef especially paired well with the crisp organic arugula on top and the spicy pickles served on the side. That being said, while a burger does need to rest before serving to prevent the hot juices from overflowing upon first bite, I found their burgers to be a tad bit on the cold side by the time I receive them. Hopefully they will invest in something like a heat lamp to keep the burgers warm while they rest. Also, I actually like the regular potato baked "fries" they temporarily issued with their burgers slightly over the sweet potatoes they use now, so I forward to be given a choice on this someday. In addition, I checked out their Cobb Salad. On one hand, the char-broiled chicken breast and organic greens truly complemented one another as far as taste and mouth-feel are concerned. On the other hand, I found the honey mustard dressing to be overpowering in its sweetness and ultimately redundant since the bits of corn in the salad already imparts sufficient sweetness. A more tart/sour dressing like a vinaigrette would have been a more appropriate companion to this salad. All in all, this new joint is very promising, and it suffices to say that I've had a pleasant time there. Plus, I've managed to rub elbows with the owner of the joint and even taken a couple selfies with him and his employees, as you can see below. Can't wait to try their sandwiches next. read more

Stopped by here today for the first time and was pleasantly surprised to see Mike behind the counter! Upon his recommendation, I got the el toro bowl with chicken. I also got the east meets west salad and two juices. When someone recommends chicken at their spot, they must be very confident in their product. Mike did not steer me wrong! Everything, even the chicken which at other places can be super dry, was delicious. Chicken and shrimp were juicy and well portioned - no skimping on proteins here! Everything was seasoned to perfection - not salty, not bland - highlighting the freshness and taste of the ingredients. Juices were small, but so good and satisfying. Even my picky Korean mom loved everything. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Should have given 5 stars because they allow dog! Not a big organic fan but I did enjoy the burger even though it was med well when I requested well but I ate it and would do it again. If your in Ft Lee, NJ it is worth a try. Also this is not going to make me an organic junkie. read more

Wild caught...if you in general eat a healthy diet, meaning you care about your daily nutrition with the right amount of protein, vegetables, and carbs, this is the place to go. My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful experience this evening thanks in large part to one of the owners, Michael. For me he recommended the Creole burger which was made from a delicious grass-fed beef patty with bacon, arugula, red onion, jack cheese with a yummy Russian dressing. My wife absolutely loved her "Body Bowl" which featured Quinoa, Avocado and a medley of veggies with a cilantro-lime dressing with shrimp as her protein of choice. I wanted to try it but she gobbled it down so quickly I didn't have a chance. The portion size was more than enough and we didn't leave the least bit hungry. Everything was fresh and flavorful and we will absolutely come back again! If you are in search of a healthy place to eat with selections to please just about anyone...Fudgarten is a very good choice! read more

I ordered the Aphrodite with chicken and my colleague and I kept uttering how tasty it was while we inhaled it! The chicken was really tender and flavorful and everything was piping hot, fresh, and thoughtfully chosen. This area really needed a place like this and I'll definitely be going back! This place is so good. Owners make you feel seen and welcome. Their chicken is the best. The char on it gives it that backyard bbq home nostalgia feeling. Reminds me of a kabob style chicken. I recommend the Fudgarten burger! Everything there is quality and you leave feeling like you made a great decision for your body. Great stuff all around. I'm very glad that they opened in my neighborhood. It is a very clean and hip place to eat brunch or lunch. They have an open kitchen so we can see what's cooking inside and well management. They also they have a gluten-free option and food was a very fresh and delicious. The service was also very amicable. I'm definitely going back! read more

I ordered delivery from yelp because I have an account and realized after I ordered that it's so much cheaper to order directly from their website (about $2-3 per item). However this would require me to sign up for an account on their website (why can't there be a guest option??). I can understand a small price difference when ordering from a third party like yelp because of the costs but the difference is pretty significant with Fudgarten. For that I probably wouldn't order delivery from here ever again because I don't want to register on their website or pay such a large difference for the same food through yelp. read more

Okay im not doing this Yelp review for the 10% they offer lol but cause of the El Toro Bowl im currently having...i would take a picture but since im devouring it, its looking messy. I stopped by tonight cause Facebook loves this place so i had to see what it was about and they were right. This bowl is so tasty and the owner is a really cool guy and i was able to have a full blown conversation with him like if he was my friend! Hes doing a great job and i will definitely come back to try what other masterpieces hes got on his menu. This place is a must. Support local businesses!! read more

Ordered a SoCal sandwich today and it didn't list pesto as an ingredient. It had pesto spread in the sandwhich. I have kids who have severe allergy to Pine nuts and apparently they use pine nuts in their pesto. I really hope that they read this and know how dangerous this is for people who have anaphylactic reactions to nuts. Thank goodness I have Epipens and Benadryl on hand. read more

So first I'd like to say that we walked into this place on random. We had no indication of what the food would be like or any prior knowledge about the spot at all. We just saw "organic eatery" and decided to take a risk. I'd like to also note that the staff was polite, courteous and welcoming. Unlike other spots, there was a sense of comfort when we first walked in. I ordered a bowl and my friend ordered a burger. Needless to say we were pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food was. It came out in a timely manner and we dug right in. Smelled delicious, tasted even more so. Will be going back for sure. Definitely deserve 5/5 stars -- you won't regret it. read more

I was really wanting something healthy after a week of fried foods and this place exceeded expectations! Usually when a place is healthy, it's not very tasty but you get to give yourself a pat on the back. THIS PLACE IS ACTUALLY YUMMY!! I recommend the Body Bowl with Turkey if you aren't usually enthusiastic about healthy food. Great service, nice conversation with the owner, and most importantly, delicious food! read more

I was also surrounded by a group of others who were just standing around trying to close out their tabs (a process which involves the bartender giving the card to their manager who takes it back into the kitchen to run the card... which I'm sorry but is completely inefficient and takes too long and just looks shady). I left after my second drink because I could have fermented the vodka myself before getting served a third time. It's a shame because the space is well done and the music was, in my opinion, really good.

The owners are very friendly and are willing to talk to you about their business. You can see they take great pride in what they're trying to build. They respond well to criticisms and actually ask for them to better the food. (So rare to see in these times) I've had the El Toro bowl. Greek Salad and Herculean. I leave feeling satisfied from that store every time. Portion isn't overly filling, feels just right and the price isn't absurd as other places around the area.
