I may have given them one more star if their cancelation process wasn't so inconvenient. I tried to…read morecancel on the website via my account, but wasn't finding anything but a "cancelation request". I felt like it was close to the time they'd take out the annual fee, and I wanted to cancel prior to getting charged. They don't bother to send you a reminder text/email. I went to the gym and was told they couldn't cancel on-site, and it had to go through the cancelation request form. Of course they refuse to refund me the $49 annual fee since I didn't cancel 15 days in advance. Great way to build your customer relations. This experience has ensured I won't be signing back up with their gyms at any point in the future. As for the facility, I stopped going regularly months ago. It's small, loud, and too often had inoperable equipment for whatever reason. More times than not, people thought it was ok to put their towels on machines to indicate use while they were on another machine all together, or spend minutes between sets on their phones. With such little space and so few available machines, this poor gym etiquette should have been addressed by staff.

The instructor was really good at pointing out areas of improvement during the class and guiding everyone in the room (about 10 of us, all women that morning). There was more dance style technique than I expected, however the slow focused movements really helped to target specific muscles which was great. Please be courteous and respectful enough to wipe down the machines after using. The bathroom is also clean and organized. Love that everyone is very respectful in the locker room and bathroom area. Inshape charges for a premium gym membership but they don't even maintain their equipment or make sure that anything goes back to their designated spaces. The gym is always at capacity and you can never find an open machine, space, or even parking spot. Not to mention when the steam room was down for like 6 months, and the sauna is always way too full with nowhere to sit or stand.

OrangeTheory completely changed that. The coaches are amazing--super motivating but also patient and encouraging, which makes a huge difference. I also love how inclusive it feels here. You see everyone--young, old, big, small--and it truly feels like a space where anybody belongs. The workouts are structured, fast-paced, and fun, so the time flies by. The only downside for me is getting into morning classes. As a parent with a young kiddo and a full 8-5 job, the 5 a.m. classes are the only ones that work, but they're always tough to book. Overall, though, it's such a great workout and atmosphere. I'm hooked!
