Fabio's is one of my favorite gem homemade pasta spots. It's literally a hole in the wall! The best part is that it's 10 steps from the beach so you can enjoy your pasta while you watch the sunset. Perfect date night or hang with friends! The staff is so friendly and as a resident homemade pasta connoisseur, the food is a 10/10!

WOW! What a surprise! Fabios Pasta is truly a hidden gem, the kind of cozy spot you might walk past but absolutely shouldn't. We came on a beautiful sunny day and immediately noticed how warm and personal the atmosphere felt. It was so sweet watching the owner interact with a regular, he knew their name and their usual order, which says a lot about the kind of place this is. My partner and I stopped by for a light bite and shared the fettuccine truffle mushroom pasta and their homemade tiramisu. The pasta was perfect, creamy, well-seasoned, and the truffle flavor was balanced (not overpowering like it can be at other places). You can really taste the care in the food. Fabio himself is incredibly welcoming and truly embodies the heart of Italian hospitality. If you're anywhere near Venice Beach, definitely give this place a try and support a local gem. You won't regret it!

Food was yummy here!! Prices aren't actually as cheap because some sauces and add ons are more... Service is quick and they bring the food to you once you order. Outside is cute on the beach in the alley! Heaters too

Delicious handmade pasta with an ocean view at a reasonable price? I don't think I can recommend Fabio's enough. Fabio himself was extremely kind and recommended some great pairings. Despite him being the only one working, our food was out very quick. The pasta itself was perfectly cooked with a nice texture. Both sauces were also very fresh, flavorful, and creamy. Solid portion sizes too. You order at the counter and sit outside. Either they call your name or bring it out to you. It can get a little cold at night, but there are heat lamps thoughtfully placed out by the tables. Lots of vegetarian and vegan options as well. The beautiful bowls are also such a memorable and unique touch. 100% recommend and I will certainly be back!

This place is a hidden gem! Big variety of pasta that can be customized with different sauces and toppings for very reasonable price. It has seating outside overlooking the ocean and by the boardwalk - perfect for a beautiful sunny day. Very friendly staff. I'll be coming back again soon!

Entrées: * Gnocchi Bolognese - rich, tomato-forward, and comforting. Adding sausage was a great choice and balanced the dish really well. * Rigatoni Alfredo (with chicken) - creamy, smooth, and satisfying. The chicken added extra protein and made it more filling without being too heavy. Overall: Fabio's is a great choice if you're looking for a casual, local-feeling spot near the beach. Dining outside with the ocean breeze really enhances the Venice experience. It can be a little challenging to find a table during busy times, but it's worth it. Service & Ambience: The owner was especially friendly and welcoming, which made the experience feel warm and personal. The seating area is shared with other businesses, so be sure to sit only at tables designated for the restaurant. Out of courtesy, we also returned our plates after finishing, which felt fitting for the laid-back, local setup.

Such a cute unassuming place in a side street off the Venice boardwalk. Just far enough to escape the noise. Cute walk up counter order, with quick service, and outdoor patio seating with heat lamps at night. The food was so fresh, the spaghetti feeling a little extra a la dente. The portions are very generous. We shared a cacio e pepe spaghetti and black truffle papparadelle pasta with added mushrooms. Dont forget the garlic bread, you could every table raving about it next to us! I preferred the truffle pasta over the pepe but they were both nice and creamy!

We went for a friends birthday dinner and I'm so glad I joined. I never knew this little gem existed. You almost don't know this place is there as it's literally a door in the wall with a Window. We ordered a plethora of items and everything was delicious. I especially liked the ravioli that was textured perfectly. The pesto was also really good as well as the spicy rigatoni. We completed the evening with a homemade tiramisu and it was everything I hoped it would be. Fabio was as fabulous as his food! He was smiling the entire time and you could tell took pride in what he cooked. I will certainly return!

Insanely delicious, adorable little spot. We went on a Friday evening and could easily get a table. Family owned, quick service. Highly recommend.

This was some of the best pasta I've ever had and the gentleman working the front counter was very sweet.

I ordered the potato gnocchi with the black truffle sauce and added burrata. The gnocchi was cooked perfectly and the sauce was so beautifully balanced with black truffle. My boyfriend ordered the ravioli with marinara sauce and added Italian sausage as suggested by the gentleman taking our order. Ravioli was amazing!

It's located really close to where I live in Venice and there is plenty of parking right out front attached to the shopping center it's located in. Inside is not very large, however, they have plenty of tables for groups from 2 to 4 as well as some counter seating if you are a party of one. The menu is pretty small, but it has all the classic Ramen options on it. I was also impressed with how quick our food was ready, it came out in less than 10 minutes and had some really great flavors. Pricing is really fair and the portion sizes were significant. For my first visit I chose the Spicy Tonkotsu which is pork broth with roasted pork. I usually prefer beef or chicken with Ramen, but really enjoyed this pork version. It was not very spicy, but the pork itself was really delicate and had a lot of great flavor to it. It was also a good sized portion so there was plenty of noodles and ground chicken as well. We also ordered some Fried Rice and thought it was fantastic. Both dishes really hit the spot and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone in the area or to anyone searching for some of the better Ramen spots in LA.

I have been here twice, and this place is seriously good…read more My first visit was fantastic. We were on a girls' weekend in L.A. and spent the day touring my daughter's friend around all the famous landmarks the city has to offer. After driving out to the Santa Monica Pier, we had worked up a serious appetite. A quick Yelp search led us to this ramen restaurant, and we whipped the car around and made a beeline straight for it. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted and seated on the patio. We were hoping for seats near the fire pit, but those are definitely a hot commodity and fill up fast. Our server was quick, friendly, and helpful with menu suggestions. I ordered the Spicy Vegan Creamy Ramen. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and I was really impressed with how accommodating they are for meatless diners. They have several vegetarian and vegan choices, and most dishes can be modified for most dietary preferences. Our food came out quickly, piping hot, and beautifully presented. One bite of my ramen and I was instantly in heaven. It was so good that I finished the entire bowl in record time. I would have ordered a second one, but I was completely full. I honestly feel like I could eat this every day of my life and never get tired of it. Our server kept our glasses full and checked on us regularly. The service was top-notch and made a relaxing end to a long day of sightseeing. It truly was an awesome experience. On my second visit, I was in town with my family, and I told them we were not leaving L.A. without eating here first. We came on a Saturday, and the restaurant was pretty packed. We waited about 15 minutes for a table, and to my surprise, we scored the fire pit seats I had wanted so badly the first time. Sitting next to the fire, feeling the warmth and watching the flames dance in the evening air, made the experience even more special. The second visit was just as great as the first. Great service, a relaxing atmosphere, and incredible food from start to finish. I truly enjoyed every minute of it. What more could you ask for? I highly recommend Jinya Ramen Bar. Trust me, it is absolutely worth it.

We were lucky to find a metered parking that already had money in it, yay! There are a bunch of eateries on this street as well. It's a small restaurant inside, but more space outside. Not that busy at all, there were only 2 other parties dining at the same time as us during prime dinner time. I saw they were running a Demon Slayer promotion and I wanted the free spoon haha. So I ordered the Tokyo Yatai Ramen and my friend ordered the Birria Ramen. The waiter or owner(?) who talk our order was also very nice! Very quick and efficient with our order. It didn't take too long for our ramen to be prepared. First glance, it doesn't look like your traditional ramen. It actually looks more Chinese style ramen. Especially the noodles? The texture is not quite the same as traditional ramen shops (and I have been to Japan). The ramen bowl itself was pretty simple, strong flavors from the chicken broth, the pork itself was pretty alright. It's honestly pretty standard but does not have a Japanese feel to it. I tried my friend's Birria Ramen and it's literally tastes like a taco in a bowl haha, which is pretty accurate. So even my Chinese friend likes the birria ramen because it reminds of her this Chinese instant noodle she always has lol. So I guess meaning in a good and bad way, but she still enjoyed it. Overall, the whole experience was not bad. I do only see JINYA in the more 'whiter' communities, so I find this to be not very authentic Japanese ramen. Also it's pricy for what it is when I can get an authentic bowl for $16.

The hostess was very kind…read morewith a warm greet at the entrance which is stunning, floral, vibrant with lights and well lit tables. Our server was attentive and present all through the evening. All of the appetizers were rather small portioned for the price. Nonetheless very tasty just a little small for my liking and a dinner table of 5 guests. - The Street Style corn was 3/5 it almost tasted artificially sweet, it came with the smallest serving of pita bread. It took two additional orders of the bread to actually enjoy the appetizer. - The Wagyu hummus was 4/5, tasty but I feel you're mainly paying the sticker price of $35 for the smallest pieces of the meat. - Skirt steak was 4/5 its rather hard to mess up a skirt steak but it could've used extra seasoning. Potatoes on the side seemed to just be thrown next to cuts of asparagus. - Lasagnette Bolognese 4/5 seemed pretty traditional aside from the noodles, it was like uncut lasagna sheets which was a nice twist on the dish but a pretty standard sauce. - Chicken Parm 5/5, the parm was rather large, about two palms together in size. The plate seemed to be slightly spiced which was savory. - Chocolate Souffle was 3/5, nothing too special about the dish, for $18 I was hoping for something a little more savory then a brownie bite sized loaf that may have been baked for a few minutes served next to a very small portion of their 'house made ice cream'. Thank you for the memories, not entirely sure I would be back. My bill of just under $500 did not really seem to be worth it.

My latest experience is in more detail below, but if you're looking for a quick recommendation, I would skip RVR for other options in the area (unless you're exclusively optimizing for Abbot Kinney ambiance). We made a Sunday 6:45p reservation. Knowing the incredibly hit or miss seating situation there from a previous visit, we arrived 15 minutes early to kindly ask if we can sit in a table upstairs. One of the hosts told us that there was "only bar seats available now, but [they'd] have a table for us closer to our reservation time." We thanked her and happily waited for our reservation time. Our original reservation time comes, and they call our name to seat us. A bit surprisingly, they lead us to seats at the bar. We politely asked the host who sat us (a different host from the one we spoke to initially) if we could wait for a table, but she curtly told us waiting for a table would be "at least an hour." It was very odd considering what we were told 15 minutes prior, and it felt a bit clumsy and dismissive to hear different things from front-of-house staff and to be put where we politely requested not to be. Regardless, we sat at the bar without a fuss. Sitting at the bar was a mixed bag. The bartenders were kind and attentive, but we were sat directly next to each other in a very heavy service area (the antithesis of the romantic, conversational Sunday night dinner we'd hoped for). Meanwhile, we watched many empty, smaller tables either linger open the whole time we were there or ultimately get sat with parties of two. We put in an order, and all of the food came out fairly quickly. Here's what we ordered, grouped by my recommendation: - Excellent: "off menu" wagyu gyoza - Good: snap peas, chicken liver toast - Skip: tuna sashimi, corn, black cod, duck rice We were in and out in 45 minutes, which I was thankful for considering that I didn't want to be there any longer than we needed to be.
