In my opinion, Fabio and his pasta place have been instrumental in making that off-boardwalk Westminster zone somewhat civilized. Great strides made this past year. Another reviewer called it a "hole in the wall" and is essentially correct - you order at the doorway and wait for your order to be completed (he calls out your name and the wait was always less than about 10 minutes for us) then eat at small tables and chairs in the neighboring outdoor space or enjoy it on the beach. While the food was simply amazing in every regard, most especially amazing was the warm and friendly service! We were staying nearby for a few days and visited here a few times. read more

I ordered rigatoni with meat sauce for delivery. The flavor of the meat sauce was delicious but the rigatoni was mushy and soft. I called and asked if the rigatoni "is supposed to be soft and mushy" and the answer was "yes it isn't from a box. It's homemade." I've eaten at more Italian restaurants with homemade pasta and never had mushy pasta. This had no texture. Doughy. I was surprised with the answer. read more

Great home made pasta and great service. Asked Fabio to recommend something for my kids and he asked me what my kids liked. The pasta Bolognese was on point and fresh. The focaccia bread that came with it was excellent as well. I hear the ravioli is great too but will get that next time. It was OK. I love that the man who makes the food owns this cute little spot. The first time I ate there the pasta (forgot the name of it) tasted like uncooked dough balls. The second time my pasta tasted blah. I love pasta so much but the doctor said I should stay away from carbs. So I probably won't be here anytime soon. Oh and the complimentary bread had way to much salt on it. Another thing my doctor said to limit. But the owner is very friendly and I hope others who love it come back and keep him in business! P.S. First of all, Fabio the owner is very kind and respectful. He will ask your name and refer to you by it when addressing you. The food of course is the best thing about Fabios. I was impressed by the how delicious my food tasted. I love pasta with just olive oil, onions, garlic and a few other vegetables. It's difficult to achieve such tasty dishes but Fabio knows very well. He also prepared my dish pretty quickly. read more

The pasta was very very tasty, the service wonderful. Fabio is very kind and wanted to help us ( three vegetarian and one allergic to milk) The only problem is that there is not a sitting area. Saltiest pasta I ever had. I almost threw up. Would've taken it back if I hadn't already driven away. I usually add salt to all my food so if I found the food salty it is truly salty. My husband though so also and he usually adds salt to his food also. read more

This place is quite literally a hole-in-the-wall, but it is not to be overlooked. Located right along Venice Beach, it is a wonderful place to stop and enjoy a plate of pasta by the ocean! My partner and I ate there and received excellent service and even better food. The pasta was absolutely delicious, it tasted completely homemade and the meat sauce was scrumptious!
