I've been coming here for a few months regularly... Jason does a good job but I am highly disappointed and skeptical after this last visit. I never really pay attention to what I pay (my fault for not asking for a breakdown). Last time I went I got a gel pedi, a fill for existing acrylic set (gel color, coffin shape, mid length, white tip). My total was $102, today I went back got a gel pedi, another fill (gel color, short length, no white tip and square shape) my total was $95. By the way I paid cash on both occasions. There's an up charge for coffin shape, longer lengths and white tips.... There's definitely a discrepancy on what the cost for each service is and I will not return for service. Be aware of what you're actually paying for. read more

well .. i don't usually trust nail shops or get my bare nails painted or get acrylic extensions. BUT recently had an experience with gel x extensions because of a close friend who did it for me. unfortunately, she has been unable to do them for me anymore due to a serious eye injury. although now, i'm hooked to the look. the gel seems to do very well with the integrity of my nails and i was hoping to find someone near my hometown of vallejo, who would be able to provide gel x nails or the builder gel nails (the older sister). after searching on yelp i came across this little gem, and big thanks to jason for taking care of my nails. i've been there twice so far and each time i leave feeling great, nails looking beautiful and receiving tons of compliments! it took me quite a while to find someone that does great work with nails, especially with gel, but i'm happy i found this place. as long as jason is willing to continue doing builder gel nails, i'll be back!! read more

I normally come here and goto Jason but he's on vacation so Sonny/Sunny said he's covering and to come to him. I drove al the way from Richmond and he was running late and thought I had a pedicure but never said that? 15 minute later he's still with someone and I ask if I should come back since I ha to be somewhere. So at a separate place about a week ago I had a bad experience with the new nails being really poorly done super thin. My hairstylist is not far from Fabulous so I looked up the reviews here. I thought I'd give it a try. I called in the morning and got an appointment with no problem. Also I like that they're open on Sundays apparently a lot of places out here aren't. When I came in, Jason sat me down immediately and proceeded to takeoff my old nails. And then I picked out a color he gave me recommendations on what he thought was best which resulted in awesome nails. I'm not super picky but I do expect nice clean nails good shaping and quality service and I definitely got it here not to mention the price was amazing compared to where I've spent way more for subpar nails. read more

I usually come to this establishment to get a mani and pedi because what girl doesn't deserve to be pampered? Let's be honest, it's definitely good to treat yourself when you can make time in your schedule for yourself. I decided to come in to pamper myself and the salon was not busy, so I thought why not? The technical rushed my pedicure from start to finish. The technical used some tool to cut my cuticles and It got extremely uncomfortable as it began to hurt. It hurt so bad and I told her to no longer use the tool. A few minutes later she uses the tool and begins to cut, again. I explained to her that it hurt and then she stopped. She then begins to "shape" my nails and they looked worse than when she started. I asked her to go over them, again, and she was not happy about it. Once she completed that portion of the pedicure- she moved on, got some hot rocks, a hot towel and began rushing through the two minute massage. The entire job felt rushed and it was not good customer service. This will be my last time coming to this establishment. read more

This is my tried and true nail shop. I've tried two others in the Concord and Pleasant Hill areas, but I keep coming back to Jason here. He is very kind, efficient and his shaping is the best. He does a very thorough job and is hella fast. The lady that works here is super nice and she's up on her sneaker game. Whenever I come in with the latest and greatest, she compliments me. Her polish skills are flawless. There was another guy that used to work here, I don't remember his name. The only issue I had with him is that he regularly would nick my cuticle while shaping my nail. And that ish is painful! My favorite was the older guy years ago. He had the best conversations. Having recently moved to Concord, I had to find a new place to get my nails done. Looked through Yelp (of course) and found this gem of a place. I called around noon time and asked whether they had an availability for two today. They offered a time later in the afternoon, which we gladly took. Definitely call in for an appointment as they seem to be pretty busy. Makes sense though since their work definitely backs up it up. The staff are very friendly and speaks English very well if that's something you're looking for. Despite getting there towards the end of the day and had a couple more people in line waiting, the staff really took the time to take care of us. We didn't feel rushed at all! Our nails came out great and they even offered recommendations to take care of our nails as we are not able to go as often. Definitely worth going to! read more

So far so good! The inside is super clean, there are these neat plastic dividers used when receiving a pedicure. I've never seen this setup before, hello covid! The gentleman at the front greeted me promptly and was very friendly. I get gel builder on my nails, not a lot of nail shops use the product it. I can't believe how quick my polish came off! It literally just peeled off in under an hour after leaving the salon!peeled not smudged. The staff were nice enough to take me on a Friday right when I called but the more and more I look at my mani I'm thinking I could've done it myself. The guy that painted my nails didn't even paint my top coat to cover my entire nail. My pedi took forever and when the guy finished he told one of his coworkers that I also wanted a manicure. See here's the thing - I switch from this place and Belle's Nails and Spa but I've had so many ups and downs and mixed experiences with that place, it makes it hard to want to go back there. Only reason why I have is because its location is just a bit more convenient. BUT FABULOUS NAILS IS GREAT ALL AROUND. I have never had any issues with getting my nails done here - from acrylics to just gel manicures to pedicures. I've had all three different people for all three different services and it all turned out great. Was relaxing and looked great too. I recently stopped getting acrylics done so I started doing more plain gel manicures. Belle's rarely ever takes walk ins because of how busy they are all the time so I slid right back to the ol' reliable Fabulous Nails. Took me in as a walkin and my nails look great. My nail actually broke a few days after getting them done (these are my natural nails) and they took me in 10min before closing and didn't make me feel bad about it, which I did anyways but they were very nice and understanding about it. Took care of my one broken nail and fixed it. No charge. Tried to tip on my credit card because I didn't have much in cash. They wouldn't accept it but I was going to make sure they got their tip. I gave the guy all I had in my wallet which was only a few bucks. I will definitely be coming back here! read more

Once I arrived I was greated kindly and was at my table by 3.16pm. My artist came over promptly. She Was very polite and asked what I wanted done. I showed her a picture of length, shape, and color. She said she could do it. 3. Plenty of parking. 4. Comfortable chairs 5. Great color selection 6. The results were spot on. Great length. Perfect shape. And my cuticles look smooth and nice. 7. My artist commented on my hair and outfit. Who doesn't love a Lil boost up. Cons (that do not matter to me): 1. Some may say the neighborhood it's top notch. 2. I would come here for years , one of the last times I had gotten a pedicure from a male and it was so rushed and he charged me $40 for a regular pedicure. So I started going to a new spot in Pleasant Hill. Today I needed a gel pedicure and my usual spot wasn't available so I came here. I asked for the gel pedicure but she gave me regular polish and towards the end just walked away, didn't communicate with me at all. So I waved down the male worker walking by, I told him I had to go, and he looked at me so rudely. So I repeated myself and he rolled his eyes, bends down and yanks the tissue in between my toes (the one used to help separate the toes) and grabs and tosses my sandals further away from me. Then walks off. I was so confused, I waited for about 5 mins thinking maybe he'll come back? Nothing. I got up, walked to my sandals and put them on myself. Now my hands are shaking because I've never experienced a worker so rude. Walked over to pay and told the owner, I believe, what happened. I went here for the first time, specifically going off of the reviews so I was happy to try this new place. I went for a pedicure and dip powder nail removal. The dip powder removal was no problem had no issues. The pedicure unfortunately is when I had a problem. I told the lady doing my pedicure she was hurting my foot when she was scrubbing it with the yellow bar. I finally pulled my foot away and realized I was bleeding pretty bad on my foot. She then had to search for bandaid which I appreciated, but I honestly did not enjoy the rest of my pedicure do to my foot hurting. The manicurist took his time with my pedicure, about a 15-20 minute massage with hot rocks. I think the owner did my nails. He spoke to me about nail care and I could genuinely sense he wasn't try to get over. Instead of a fill I got a full set because almost all my nails were breaking and the last guy I went to rushed.
