The staff at Face to Face is outstanding, always friendly and welcoming. I have incredibly sensitive skin, to the point that I can't use many soaps and lotions. However, I attended a Yelp Elite event to check out the spa and see if there was anything I could do to help my skin. My esthetician Trena listened to my concerns and smartly avoided suggesting any peels. Instead, she had me lay back on a warm bed that basically had me passing out in the first 5 minutes. I added on a microdermabrasion treatment and proceeded to have my face massaged, lotioned, scrubbed, rubbed, you name it! Trena was really great about explaining everything she was doing and dealing with any concerns I had about specific treatments. She even gave me a great suggestion for using baking soda as a facial scrub due to my sensitivities. And it's been a great solution for me! It's been about a week and my skin looks amazing. Hmm... Can't say I'm very impressed with the place. Got a Groupon for the mother for Mother's Day. However, when she went to redeem the Groupon deal, she was told that she couldn't unless she paid an additional $30 (at the non-member's price) bc she wasn't a new client [read the fine print on that deal, mates. Read them well]. Understandably so, she was upset and walked out. I called on her behalf to get clarification on the issue, whereupon I was told that I could either have the Groupon returned or just pay an additional $10 at the member's price (which I thought was quite reasonable). I tried to have the Groupon returned; however, I couldn't. This was bc the spa employees had already redeemed the Groupon deal...EVEN though my mother did not receive her facial. Apparently, F2F redeems the deals before services are even rendered. [F2F, I suggest you change that policy.] So we decided to just redeem the deal and just pay that additional $10 at the member's price which the front desk employee and the person on the phone (didn't catch her name...because none of them introduced themselves. F2F, you all really should...makes it a bit more welcoming) had said was acceptable. The mother, mostly disgruntled but somewhat appeased, went in to get her facial. I was just waiting for her to finish when the same employee approached me not 20min later and said that I'd instead have to pay $30 instead as my mother was not a member of the spa. Yes, even after we had already decided on the $10. Yes, after the mother had already gone in for her facial--a facial she would've rejected had she been told she'd have to pay more than what we were told on the phone. This really is unacceptable. The employees seemed nice enough and the facilities seemed pretty decent and clean (good ambiance, by the way); however, your business practices need some (or a lot of) work. As I didn't want the gift wasted, I just covered the cost and didn't bother telling her about the change in price, but my mother still was unhappy with the contradictory statements of the employees. I'm just afraid we will be denied services when she goes back to redeem the second facial of the Groupon deal with some hokey excuse that the deal has expired even though the front desk employees informed us that we'd still be able to receive services without paying more than the additional (now) $30 amount--a month after the deal's expiration date. I'm sure their services are better toward their regular "members" (less complicated, I'd imagine), but if you're using a Groupon deal or of the like, be warned. If they offer some sort of deal, you should probably bring a notary and several witnesses and have everything on paper and signed with their blood, fingerprints, and whatever else you can think of to set the deal in stone...and record the conversation. For, you know. Just in case. On the bright side, my mother seemed to love the facial and whoever gave her the services. So excellent job to the lovely soul who relieved all the stress the others gave her with all the price confusion. read more

I have been going to Face to Face for almost a year now and I couldn't be more pleased with my skin. I purchased a premium facial membership and it is such a great deal. I get the best facial for 75 min every month and I not only look forward to treating myself to, but the results that I have been getting are amazing. When I stopped taking birth control, my hormones took over and I had the worst breakouts and my skin was terrible. I had melasma and uneven skin tone and was not happy with my skin. I was engaged to get married and I had a year before the wedding. I purchased a membership at Face to Face and I am so glad that I did. I have 40 more days until I get married and my skin is great. I have been working with Stephanie (my aesthetician there) for the last 9 months and she is the best. She customizes my facial each month depending on what is going on with my skin and it always works. I can now not wear any make-up and I have actually gotten compliments on my skin, which I have never gotten before. It is the most enjoyable 75 min that I get to enjoy every month! She is the greatest aesthetician that I have ever had and I don't know what I would have done without her. read more

I visited Face to Face Spa today for the first time. The minute I walked in, I was greeted by the super friendly staff, who made me feel at home. The waiting area is very open and welcoming. Trena was the esthetician who performed my facial. She was so sweet and very thorough in explaining every step of the process. The warm bed relaxed me to the point of almost passing out as I was treated to the facial of the century!! Afterwards my face was pretty red, so Trena applied Jane Irdale powder foundation that had an SPF of 20. It toned down the redness immediately, and I was able to go shopping after I left the spa. Booked a Groupon for this and got in within the week (a rarity for a Groupon, that's for sure). I booked my appointment online, which was a great feature, since I'm phone-averse. HA! When I arrived they offered me a complimentary mimosa! WHAT?!? Made my morning brighter already! The front desk was courteous and I was taken back right away for an AMAZING facial with Kari. I'd never had one before, but let me tell you, my skin is still glowing, almost a week later. She did a lot of extractions, and I went for the up-sell on the chemical peel, which I'm glad I did. They even offered a free eye treatment if I checked in on Facebook. Um, duh! I can't wait to go back again...if only I could find the $$ in my wallet to go more regularly. I was introduced to Face to Face Spa at a Yelp event about a month ago and received a mini facial. I went back today for a full premium facial. Both times Trena was my aesthetician. Face to Face Spa specializes in a member program where you pay a monthly fee that includes one facial per month and member pricing for additional services. Today with my free facial, I was able to purchase an upgrade microdermabrasion for just $25 dollars (the member price Thank You Face to Face!). I'm not experienced with facials, so I can't compare this to anything else. However, I can tell you that all the staff I encountered were extremely polite and friendly The lobby is light and airy, and the treatment rooms are dark and cozy. All of the products used smelled great with essences of natural botanicals. Trena carefully explained each step of the facial and the products that she was using. I appreciated the warmed treatment table and the soft relaxing music. I might not remember every step of the treatment, but from what I remember it included a pre-cleansing lavender oil, gel cleanser, microdermabrasion (optional add on), hand and arm massage, cucumber mask, steam treatment, extraction, scalp massage, and moisturizer and lip treatment. As my face was a bit reddish after the microdermabrasion,Trena offered to powder my face with Jane Irdale powder foundation before I left. When I got home, I read about Jane Irdale products and learned how they are perfect after a microdermabrasion since they are SPF 20 and help protect your face from UV radiation and are non-irritating. When I got home my husband said that I looked like I had been photo-shopped. :-) My skin was glowing and flawless looking. read more

AMAZING Signature facial!! I purchased a Groupon for a 45 min Signature facial. The spa is very beautiful. I received a robe and hairband to keep everything out of the way, the bed was warm (how I like it) and the music/white noise was at a perfect volume to where I couldn't hear any outside noise. The employees were nice but nothing that set them WAY above and beyond, but they were very good. A pumpkin scrub was used that was incredible!! I wanted to eat it. Overall, it was a VERY relaxing experience and would go back. My face was glowing after the appointment and even though I had no makeup on my friends commented on how great my skin looked (they didn't know I just came from the appt.) A few days later my skin still looks fresh and I am very happy. I would go back but occasionally as I think the price is a little steep. They did try to upsell during the appointment but I declined. You should ask the price if they do this otherwise you walk out spending even more $$$. read more

I have had a lot of facials before, so I'm really picky when it comes to spa services. Purchased a Living Social deal for a Premium Facial at the Westlake location. This spa is very upscale, with your very first impression coming as you enter the reception area. Clean, inviting and well furnished. The receptionist was friendly & offered me a choice of beverages. My esthetician, Bonnie, talked me through the facial process, asked about any concerns I had then let me enjoy my experience in blissful silence. The saddest part came when my time was up. Bonnie complimented me on my skin care regiment which helped to affirm all the time & money spent "taming" my aging skin. Bonnie made some product recommendations & I did make a modest purchase. Face to Face does offer monthly memberships that make their services affordable. While that route is not for me, I'll probably return for the occasional pampering. read more

I'm not going to give them a rating. I purchased a spa treatment in February before Covid hit. I am not going to go out of the house for any non essential service like spa, manicure or pedicure. They are not needed. I contacted Ashley at Davenport and she would not give me a refund. She is also the owner. Each store is independently owned as a franchise and this is the corporate office so she can do anything she pleases. They do not have a policy on their website for refunds for treatments. I will never go to Face to Face at Davenport ever and I hope you will not either as they are not moral or ethical to not do a refund during the pandemic. read more

I purchased a Living Social deal for Face to Face Spa. My skin was a disaster, everything from dry spots to hyperpigmentation to acne scars to being oily in spots as well. When I first walked in I was warmly greeted and offered a beverage. The appointment for my facial started right on time and the esthtician (forgive me, I'm terrible with names) listened to my concerns, offered feedback and suggested different treatments which she thought would be helpful for me. She was very warm and inviting as well. The hand and upper body massage was amazing and her light touch during the facial treatment was very relaxing, she some how managed to make the extractions not hurt either! I upgraded my facial treatment and got an additional Vitamin C masque which was supposed to brighten my skin, lighten my hyperpigmentation and acne marks. It definitely did the job! After my appointment the esthetician suggested a product I purchase to use at home to keep those problems with my skin in check. The product was amazing, I've been using it for a week now and can see significant results. My skin hasn't looked or felt this great in a long time. I'll definitely be back and if I can remember the name of my esthetician I'll definitely be going back to her, if I'm not mistaken I think her name was Stephanie???
