Booked a microdermabrasion apt with a Groupon and it was 100% worth it! Vladislava was so polite and professional. For Groupons I always set my standards kind of low, but here it felt like I was getting a full facial experience! We did cleansing, exfoliating, mists, serums, masks and facial massages. She also gave good skincare advice and a new mask at the end. Mind you, I was 10 min late to my appointment because I had trouble finding parking and the building, yet she was still so nice to me. Parking: office is located next to Millenium Park. Thought street parking would be ok to find on a weekday at 1 PM. I was wrong. Ended up using ParkWhiz to park in the Millenium Park North garage which was about a 5-10 min walk. Location of Facial Boutique: for some reason google maps led me to The Heritage which is the building behind The Garland (where Facial Boutique is located). The Garland has big gold doors and is next to the Staples. Office is on floor 13. Overall would come back again to check out her other services! read more

I saw a groupon for a facial and instantly checked them out on Yelp. GREAT, glowing reviews...however I didnt feel the same. Walk in, mom at the desk, I try to tell her I have an apptmt at 3P...she shushes me saying I am early. Now, I get it, I actually was talking quietly because I assumed this place was a one room spot...Ive been in this building before for stuff. OK, I go take a seat. Woman comes out and asks what I have/want. I say I bought the groupon for a choice of facial. She wants the groupon code...dont people usually pay at the end?? Then she asks me again, what do I want. I say, well I was hoping you could look at my skin and suggest what would be beneficial. She states, we will do the custom. Alas, I go back to the room. Get comfy. No bolster under my legs, which got to be uncomfortable after just laying there for 55mins. She comes back, massages and cleanses for 10 mins, steam for about 10 mins, extractions for 5 mins, mask for what felt like 15-20 mins, then wash off, moisturize and done. I was disappointed as it just seemed like I was laying there with something on my face for most of the time. I am used to more massaging, etc. Also, it was very bright in the room...which again, I am willing to give up ambiance for a great facial. Alas, this was the super saver special...and not in a good way. I felt rushed and disregarded. Maybe its because I am not a normal client. Maybe its because I had a coupon. I feel like I just committed a robbery. Really, like I just stole something and I have this big secret. I went to the Facial Boutique today and I cannot believe the facial I got. It was beyond wonderful and I feel like it was probably the best facial I have ever gotten. I feel not worthy of receiving it because I got it for only $59 due to the prettycity.com promotion going on for February. For a full hour Vlada worked her magic on my skin. The facials at The Facial Boutique are custom tailored to your individual needs. I was in the midst of a breakout and she zapped the area with something called a high frequency machine and it made my redness go away like magic. They use Yonka La Grand products and Vlada told me that she loves them so much she gave me samples to try because she wishes more women knew about them so I got a bag of samples to take home. One thing The Facial Boutique does differently is their microdermabrasion. They actually use baking soda crystals that are propelled at a high speed across the skin's surface to abrade the skin. This is pretty cool because that means they can do that delicate area under your eyes and around your mouth and lips. Usually those areas are always avoided when you have the diamond tip microderm treatments. Vlada's mom owns The Facial Boutique and has been an Esthetician for over 20 years, my friend got a facial from her this morning while I was with Vlada and she loved her results as much as I loved mine. Facials are heavenly and very reasonably priced. She uses Yonka products which are the best and my skin has never looked better. You can also buy the products from her online, highly recommend it (I will be using the website to buy my Yonka products to be shipped to Cali!) I also have had waxing and lash extensions there, and every service was impeccable and again a good value. Lash extensions were to die for and always looked elegant and natural. She is a true artist! The location is great, right downtown and close to public transportation, very convenient especially if you work downtown. Service is friendly and professional. The location is perfect for people who work or live in the Loop, but it also has weekend hours. She is very professional yet friendly, and she's fast, which I can certainly appreciate when having a bikini wax! She offered some samples when I left which was a nice touch. The place is rather small but clean, and for me, the location is great. Their hours are also good--open til 7 on weeknights so I could easily go after work. I went to Vlada for a full set of lashes; and they came out to perfection! I have been to 4 different places in the city for lashes and Vlada has been the best! She took her time and took into account the look I was going for while also making sure the extensions would not be too heavy for my own lashes.
