Obsessed. Vlada is amazing. The office is cute (you can smell the lovely scent of their office down the hallway before you even walk in -loved that!). The woman behind the desk was super sweet. I felt comfortable and welcomed the second I walked in the door. My skin issues: really dry skin and breaking out. I went in not knowing which treatment to get and after Vlada checked out my skin, she suggested the Murad Ance Facial to help with my issues. Now, my face feels so hydrated and soft.. and after all of her tips and advice- my face should be flawless in no time! She really knows her stuff. She was very informative before, during and after the facial but also gave me time to just lie there in silence - listening to the soft music with my eyes closed (I almost fell asleep because I was so relaxed). She also suggested products for me (some that she carried and some that she didn't have in stock but told me where else to buy) and was not pushy at all - which I loved because the worst thing is when you feel guilted in to buying products you don't want to buy. I would definitely recommend Facial Boutique/Vlada to anyone looking to get a great facial or one of Vlada's other facial or skin treatments. I love Vlada! I have been getting my eyebrows waxed for a long time, and now that I found her, I will never let anyone touch my eyebrows ever again. She is so nice and treats all her clients like a VIP. I see her once a month, and it is like going to see one of your best friends as we chat about out lives! I've been a client of Vlada's for almost 4 years now. Her eyebrow shaping and eyebrow/eyelash tinting services are done with perfection. I am fair skinned with blond eyelashes and eyebrows and yet with each visit, a couple of times a year, I am remarkably transformed. The color Vlada uses is safe and of the highest quality. She is meticulous about making sure each lash is covered so the work is precise and long lasting. I've had eyelash extensions, microdermabrasion and facials here as well and have not had a better service anywhere else for all three. Love how unpretentious and no-frills the space it. The services stand out even more without the distractions yet comfort is never wanting. Don't know what I'd do without Vlada! read more

I am torn on this one because I do think she does a pretty good job, but her attitude was terrible. Booking the appointment was a real challenge. No one ever answers the phone or returns voicemails- I didn't even know there was an email option. Didn't see it on the website. Worse was rebooking, which, because I could never reach her, I missed the 24-hr deadline to reschedule when I had a scheduling conflict. She apparently is a stickler for this. I can understand that. However instead of saying "sure, I can rebook you at X time, however there is a $25 fee as it is less than 24hrs," she straight up demanded $25. I replied, saying I understood and would pay the fee as it was my fault, but could I have an appointment please. She said- I want the fee first. Did I mention I had pre-paid for the facial? So I had paid for a facial I hadn't received, she then wanted an additional $25 and refused to rebook me until I had paid. It was like some weird extortion game. Very complicated and frustrating and obviously did not zen me out, as beauty treatments are meant to do. I really didn't want to go to the appointment because her attitude was so nasty during the booking process, but I had pre-paid so I was kind of stuck. The good news is that she actually did do a good job with the facial. It is however, a facial and no more. As another reviewer mentioned, there were no frills with the service. Other places will give you a hand or neck massage while the masques are on for 15-20 mins. Nope. She just leaves you there to chill. SO- all in all, I wouldn't recommend this place as I feel like other places do a good job PLUS you get the niceties like kindness, ease of booking, and small massages during the service. But I can see where the good reviews come from. read more

Vlada did an amazing job on my facial today! First of all, she accommodated me last minute. Then, I showed up almost 20 minutes late. She was so sweet and didn't cancel my appointment. Also, I didn't ask to have a tip added assuming there was a tip line to add it. She told me not to worry about it (of course I'm swinging by tomorrow to drop off a cash tip b/c the service was fantastic)! The facial was extremely relaxing and thorough. She examined my skin and recommended a great approach to addressing my issues. I left with glowing skin and samples to try at home. Vlada didn't push any product, but she said if I liked the samples then I could get the product at a later date. I plan on recommending her to all of my friends. Extremely reasonable in price and Yon Ka quality products. read more

Vlada was wonderful as I laid back and had a light peel done. She does wonders with her fingers on your face. While the magic was happening there was ambient music playing in the background. It was quite an amazing experience. I will definitely be back soon for another peel and this time a facial too. She also recommended some great products to use which I have been using and they work wonders too. It's Yonka from Paris and they are making my skin really improve. After a stressful day at work this is a great place to unwind and wash all your worries away ....at least for an hour. I recently came across Vlada facial group by accident. I had lost my estethician of close to 30 years to her taking a leave due to an illness. Since October, my skin was getting very dry due to the winter, not getting a facial, and some things I had done incorrectly. I got an appointment but email her instead of calling. She does not answer the phone when she is with a patient. She gave me a wonderful soothing and relaxing to the skin facial. Her place is small but comfortable and she gives you her full attention. There was an immediate effect on my skin and with her guidance I am sure we will get my neglected dry skin back to normal. I emailed her the next day and told her she will handle my skin going forward. I would highly recommend her - you will not be disappointed. read more

Got facial hair (eyebrows, upper lip, chin) waxed for the first time ever... Vlada was very professional, very kind, understood that I didn't want my eyebrows to look overly sculpted or artificial. She has a very good aesthetic sense and errs on the side of caution. The process was relatively painless and the red blotchiness lasted only about an hour (the freezing cold weather outside helped). The salon a very clean and comfortable space. I was able to walk in (Monday afternoon) and have this done within 10 minutes, though she said that on most days, the best thing is to call ahead and she'll tell you when she can fit you in on that day. As a testament to how good she is, when I came home and asked my husband if he noticed anything different (he only knew I was getting my upper lip and chin waxed, not the eyebrows which I've always told him I'd never touch) he said, "Yeah... are you wearing make-up or something?" So for anyone doing it for the first time, have no fears, you won't come out looking like anyone other than yourself. Your one eyebrow will simply and subtly be turned into two eyebrows! :-) Cost: $42 for all 3 services. They take credit cards. read more

Vlada was very informative and answered all the questions I had through out the facial. I have had a facial in the past and it left my face dry and irritated. My regular esthetician was out of town to do my waxing, so I decided to try this place based on the reviews. I was very disappointed. I walked in and was on time and had to wait which was fine, but there was a girl talking loudly on her phone and the waiting area is tiny. I waited for about 10 mins and the esthetician told me she doesn't do brazilian waxing which was fine because I just wanted a touch up. But who doesn't do brazilian waxing. That is the latest craze. I kept my underwear on but don't you you want to see the entire pubic area to make sure everything is even and cut the hair in the middle if its too long. All she did was wax the sides and the top of the pubic bone and spent only 5 minutes on me and had the audacity to charge me $35.00! My regular esthetican is like an artist making you strip off your underwear and evens out everything with waxing, cutting, but never has had to use tweezers, because she is an awesome waxer. whoever has to use tweezers is a bad read more
